The 90's game of all time Jokes inside, this looks radical as heck! I'd also like to beleive Sonic Riders took inspiration from this, gameplay looks very similar (also, YES you need to make a video about those games, or at least the first one!)
The voice over reading the characters from left to right has been embedded in my brain despite only renting the game over 20 years ago Angel, Brad, Rose, Max, Shin, Uri, Zak. How well did I do lol.
i actually never got to fully play the full game. as a kid i had a small disc cd thingy i believe sponsored by mountain dew that had the demo on it (i dont fully remember) and the demo had two characters and would repeat hypnotize by biggie. it was fun for the time being but i wish i could play the full game cause i really enjoyed the experience
@@DreamcastEnjoyer to add on to that i believe it was a cd marketing camp woodward which was like a summer camp for kids and teens activate in skateboarding and bmx (extreme sports type stuff)
Good to see your footage of the tough as nails final race in Japan. I found it was the only thing making me want to replay the game after completion as it makes you feel genuinely accomplished to beat it
@@DreamcastEnjoyer Indeed! Actually noticed you used the luge to get past the big side loop near the start, didn’t know that worked, I always jumped and used the spin/flip move (gyro?) to get enough air to cross it
Having to go through tutorials is a bit of a pain in the rear but it does pay off. This game is like The Nomad Soul or Blue Stinger, there is more heart poured into it than flaws so they are great games. And yes, I can't think of a better game that screams "I watch MTV and it's the year 2000, baby!" than TrickStyle
Haha glad you agree, my dude! Yea, it is a little bit annoying at times doing the Guide missions to learn all the tricks, but ultimately a damn fine game!
Algortithm Gods, please look upon my offering with favor. Bless this video and channel with high visibility. And may you suggest to me ever more videos about late 90's to early 2000s nostalgia. Amen.
Hey, UA-cam algorithm, I LOVED THIS VIDEO. Yes that’s right, THIS CHANNEL RIGHT HERE IS AWESOME… you still with me, yt algorithm? Just wanted to say RECOMMEND THIS TO PEOPLE
Ironically UA-cam will ignore your comment if you mention the algorithm because the algorithm has learned to ignore comments that mention the algorithm. I totally agree though, this guy is awesome!
Oh it's nothing crazy, just like the Australian guy is always saying stuff like "throw a shrimp on the barbie," "calm down and have a tinnie, mate." That kinda stuff
I’d forgotten about this game! I think I had the demo too or maybe just saw it in magazines but never played the full game. Look so beautifully late 90s, I gotta look for a copy and get my fix 😅
So it's basically Sonic Riders, without Sonic. Proof that Sega DIDN'T ripoff someone else's pitch for a Sonic hoverboard game!
Wow, that IS incredibly Y2K.
Never got around to this one, didnt know it existed.
As ever, thank you for the vids!
As ever, thanks for watching 😁

I'll definitely cover the first one at some point - fantastic game!
I like that, Y2K behavior
Insane looking gem
DE is an absolute madlad for dropping two videos in one week. We are blessed 🙏
Yeah!
Hahaha thank you 😊
They definitely started on a strong note and set a precedent with this Game, being a launch title, it feels inherently at home on the Dreamcast.
Absolutely! It's one of those games that just springs to mind for me when I think about the console

Pretty much nailed it! Just forgot King, I think

That sounds way cooler than the demo we got in the UK - I don't think we got Mountain Dew or Biggie!

Love the vid thanks for the recs, new fan and subscriber
Thank you very much - glad you liked it!

Thanks, dude - yea that one felt like a proper final exam for the game! Haha
Really had to pull out all the stops to beat that one

@@joesretrostuff haha you know, I had no idea what the "intended" strategy was and so I just winged it.
Cool to know you can do it that way too
@@DreamcastEnjoyer Hah yeah that’s all I was doing too 😄
Definitely something i would've loved on my relatives dreamcast if he had this one
I loved this video!!! This channel right here is awesome!!! I recommend this to everyone!
Two videos!?
Mr. Enjoyer you're spoiling us!
I aim to please! 😊
Great video as always. You are the man, DE!

I appreciate the prayer, my dude 😄
I played the pc version on a Pentium 3 with 450 megahertz and a 3dfx voodoo 3 graphics card 😊
That takes me back! I remember I always wanted a Voodoo Graphics card 😊
@@DreamcastEnjoyer yes the games looked different tbc of the glide graphics driver, never thought about ever mentioning that again 😂

If it helps, it's also on Steam pretty cheap. Not sure how much a Dreamcast copy is these days
@@DreamcastEnjoyer ooh thanks I might go for that. Do you know if it’s a decent port?
@@deepstrider unfortunately I can't say for sure as I haven't tried that version, but the reviews seem pretty positive
