let me tell you. parts hunting can be a nightmare. mega frustrating a lot of the time too. its not always easy going

Absolutely. Rob gives us the selling price minus the cost the wrecked car and the price of the parts and calls it their 'profit'. There will be business rates, energy costs, waste collection, insurance, trade plates, replacement tools etc. etc. to pay out for the business before Chris and Rob get what is left for their labour.

Hi guys. Rob, you hit the nail in the head when you said this industry is hard and some people don't realize it! It's indeed a very hard industry to work on, from costs, to the labour and know how involved, you need to be at engineering level sometimes. But this one was a speed of light project, and we'll deserved profit. You said you guys aren't UA-camrs, well you're a 20% UA-camrs as it brings some revenue and filming it makes the work go a bit slower and editing is work too!
Dr.Chris the surgeon managed to succeed in saving another patient aka headlight lol.

It’s quite satisfying knowing it’s just as good as before for a new owner and not broken up and scrapped.
Well, this one has turned out well and no time lost getting there. The amount of plastic bits shocked me, but perhaps it has worked in your favour. It might have put off other bidders, but that was your gain. I do not knock you for working the system to get the deals you need, the business needs your hard work. Nice to know hard work gets its rewards.

Rob and Chris, you have transformed that absolute wreck into a work of art. A lot of other panel beaters just want to cover up a lot of problems and don't care about the future owner and the problems they will have down the track. You two really do make smash damaged cars as good as new again and then take the time to put a few hundred kilometres/miles on them to make sure there are no rattles, squeaks, brake or steering problems, and then you sell them for a very cheap price. I have said it before, I wouldn't hesitate to buy one of your repaired cars as I would be confident it would last me a long time with no problems. Great video. Thanks fellas.

Nice one guys, it’s always nice to see a return sometimes , I remember in construction where I worked, one of the owners of the company said that the bread and butter jobs keep you running but sometimes a cream job comes up and makes everything worthwhile, you still have to do the work but there’s a proper profit in it , super job guys

Rob I see a lot of Minis with the union jack rear lights, but also see a lot with the union jack on the roof, and some on the mirrors, and thats over here in Germany.

Hello mate, really enjoy the content and the format of the channel. Subscribed about a year ago after coming across the videos on the black 3 door Cosworth and have continued to watch what Chris and yourself get up to ever since. Definitely one of the best channels on this subject matter and hope you're both chuffed with your achievements, as you well should be. Never commented before, but after watching you crunch the numbers in this one, for the first time, I actually did have a look at what similar Mini's were going for, and you're right, majority of them around the early 20k mark!! So I take my hat off to you both for only asking what you are. Its a lovely profit anyway, but you could have asked a lot more. The fact you haven't shows how fair, unselfish, and what a proper nice pair of fellas you are. Refreshing to come across people who aren't greedy in any way, and show that, done properly, everyone is a winner. Anyway, apologies for waffling on, but credit where credit is due.
