This song gave them the most trouble composing. They wanted to give up on it several times but their father encouraged them not to giive up on it. Two other songs on the album are spin offs resulting form their failed attempts to finish this song. Ugh was the working title throughout the process and so, when they finally recorded the finished version, they couldn't think of a better title for it. It is a workout for them to perform live.
They were also facing a studio deadline. They had to get it done or miss the studio session. Great things sometimes come from the pressure of deadlines.
In my opinion even mentioning Maneskin and trying to compare them with The Warning is almost sacrilegious. While M is show relying on looks, TW have solid music as their trade mark. Maneskin was embarrassing at the VMA´s 2023, while TW ripped the roof of the venue. And they did it without gadgets or outlandish clothes. Being good and captivating without showing off or trying to look weird, makes them a class of their own which no band can match. With that said, this is a banger, one of TW´s best songs and this performance was ace! Your reaction is great as usual.
Let's not be that type of fandom please. People like Maneskin and that's fine, we like TW more, that's fine, some people like both and that's fine too. They're not the same kind of band, we shouldn't be comparing them at all, not because one is better or it's "sacrilegious" but because they're just different
Ale is the secret weapon of this band.. I'm more impressed with her everyday... I really think she going to push this band to extraordinary, musical and technical compositions in the future.. I just have a feeling.... She's a extremely talented... TWA🤟🎶☮️
Every note she plays is so tasteful and fills so much space without being ridiculous. She just so good. They all are. They weave all their parts so selflessly, just perfect.
Yes Ale is brilliant. Criminally underrated. Unbelievably good for her age. My all-time favourite musician. That talent plus the on-stage swagger plus her gentle, humble personality plus her beauty. I am addicted.
This band has written close to 50 original songs & one re-imagine cover song (Enter Sandman). *Yes, there are more favorites* I like *(Revenant, Black Holes, 23, Armour, Eternal Love)* than others *(Choke, Money, Free Falling, River's Soul).* But *there are none* that I would classified as fillers (a throwaway song to fill an album). Maybe on album #four (Working title *SOON)* we might get lucky and find a dud. But so far. The newer songs ... *More* (released) plus *Sick* & *Hell You Call A Dream* aka *HYCAD* (live debuted) are bangers too.
There is a black & white fan made video of their performance of this song at The Rebel Lounge where the energy is off the chain. I would recommend to watch it on your own time.
Find me a living drummer more entertaining to watch than that five foot bundle of bone, muscle, musicality and Primal Energy. I'm not holding my breath. 🔥⚡🔥⚡🔥⚡🔥 I LOVE THIS BAND !! Great reaction 🎯 ✌️💖🎼
UGH is a song from TW 2nd Álbum, Queen of the Murder Scene, a concept record written by DPA in their teens. It tells the story of love, infatuation, Murder and suicide a Novela. It starts with the epilog song Dust to Dust, best listed to in order. It's simply a treasure for TWA, there are also 3 vlogs 23, 25, 26, which explains each song and how they cane about. The Lunario concert is the go to video as it was the first time they presented it live. ENJOY!
There's so many legendary bands that have so many filler songs in their catalog among their great songs but the warning songs have something unique about each of their songs , they're only band i have watch countless live sets without skipping parts, well except that Metallica cover.
Give Plush a try if you haven’t. They’ve opened for The Warning & have the same classic rock influences. & Moriah can wail. ‘Better off Alone’, ‘’Hate’, ‘Athena’, ‘Left Behind’
Every time I watch a song where Dany uses that Gibson Explorer it teleports me to that unique moment when Lzzy Hale gifted Dany the guitar. It was so intense and touching.
It’s interesting that on the album (Queen of the Murder Scene-an amazing Concept Album written by teenagers) that outtro is played on piano. They switched to the guitar for their live shows
This is another song from their Queen Of The Murder Scene album. I had a feeling from your thoughts on other songs that you'd like the stuff from that album.
Hey Justin! Yes, even though they mix decades and sub-genres of rock, they still have a familiar, yet fresh sound that is all their own. You can always tell a song by The Warning, even though their is so much variation across their catalog! Future Legends!
I have come to find this track as one of my favorites. It starts with an uncompromising groove that refuses to let up the entire time. But it just seems to show off so much of their skill in this one song. All the little things that you see and know about why they are so good, show up in this one song all at the same time. Maybe because its such a juggernaut of a pace and the insane technical changes at every corner.. IDK but it really shows how great they can be, and Im here for it.
why i love The Warning, never the same but you know it is them. Freeze The Fall is a trio of Canadian highschoolers and now have a kickstarter for their first EP. Quinn, 16 guitar/lead vocals was inspired by The Warnings cover of enter sandman , Aria 15 bass/vocals and Jonah 15 on drums. Rock On !!!
Great reaction !! One of my fav songs from The Warning. :)) I just LOVE how Dany frets her power chords, and also how Dany actually plays lead while she sings, on many of their songs !! :)) All Hail THE WARNING !!
Great Reaction! Pau's drumming really shines here. I recommend checking out a band that's just entered the scene. The Effect, comprised of Trev Lukather (son of Toto’s Steve Lukather) on guitars, Nic Collins (son of Phil Collins) on drums, Steve Maggiora (Toto) on keyboards and Emmett Stang on vocals. One single released so far 'Unwanted' which is great with another single dropping I believe on 10th Nov.
I just checked out this song (The Effect - Unwanted). It is good, but the studio version is over-produced in my opinion. Too many effects. The live version, however, rocks! The audio recording quality isn't very good, but I can hear what the studio mix should have tried to capture.
The Warning has been my favorite for awhile but others that are worth the time: Sabaton (Swedish power metal but often in English. Songs are usually based on history) Nightwish (Finnish band but performs in English most of the time) Ayreon Project (Varied from Arjen Anthony Lucassen) Nanowar of Steel (Humorous) Visions of Atlantis (Pirate metal) Unleash the Archers (Canadian power metal)
They have a wonderful looseness, fluidity in their playing that creates such a great groove. They use samples and backing tracks well to broaden their sound, very much like Rush. In fact, I see a lot of Rush in what they do - not necessarily musically but their ethos.
@@rexwave4624 they did use samples triggered during certain songs through drums or pedals. Peart used them during this solos, simply to round out the sound, never as a substitute for live performance.
Hello Axeman! This was another great reaction to The Warning! At the end of last month they played at shows in Mexico, two great new songs! I believe you will love it! The songs were not officially released, but there are incredible videos of them at the Diana Theater and Pepsi Center shows. Look for "Sick" and "Hell You Call a Dream." You will be surprised again!!!
√out the all female R&R band PLUSH lead by lead vocals. Mariah Formica they've headlined some some shows as well as opened & toured with well familiar bands including The WARNING earlier this year . You'll get hooked on them also & they've been a Band 3 yrs.+ !🤟😊🤟
My favourite song by them, although I think the version from Lunario is better. Here's a band for you: When asked her favourite bassist, Ale responded "Brenda Martin, from Eruca Sativa." Official video for Fuera O Más Allá.
@@RussInCanada I haven't kept track lately, but I compiled some factoids back in 2017 and wrote this: " One humorous fact about Ale is that in every interview where the girls are asked about their idols, Dany and Pau always give the same answer: Brian May and Neil Peart, but Ale always gives a different answer: Paul McCartney, Esperanza Spalding, Chris Wolstenholme (Muse)." She has also mentioned her teacher Pablo Gonzalez Sarre, bassist of Mexican band Los Claxons.

My favorite song in QOTMS. As for Maneskin, I get it. TW can’t have ALL the talent… 😉 Nothing But Thieves? Just saw them and they blew the roof off. 🤘🔥#NumberlyGarfs
This is one of my top 5 Warning songs :) I Don't know if you have heard of a ukrainian band called Jinjer but they have have simmilar song structure in that you cant predict where they are going and they are phenominal musicians and have intelligent lyrics,Start with a song called Pisces live sessions and prepare to be amazed....

Wow I can see why, they really used their whole talent to compose and play one of the most labor intense songs I’ve ever seen and it’s a masterpiece

The guitar that Dani is playing was gifted to her by Lizzy Hale from Halestorm
they said that it took years to write this song. That’s why they gave it the name. UGH

I appreciate that the reactor gives most of the screen to the artist so that we can also enjoy it.
Yes!!! I’m so sick of looking at reactors with the band minimized in a tiny screen, they act like we’re there to watch them!!
New TW music coming “soon”! Sick and HYCAD already being played live, new album is going to be, well, Sick!
Ah yes, the sibling harmony of The Warning. They each know when and how to sound the best.
There is a black & white fan made video of their performance of this song at The Rebel Lounge where the energy is off the chain. I would recommend to watch it on your own time.

I'll say it again about this song: major RUSH vibes. I can actually hear Geddy singing this.
And her guitar tone has Alex written all over it.
Pau's idol is Neil Peart.
