Casey deals with the fallout of Dawson's trip to Puerto Rico for relief help. Meanwhile, Firehouse 51 welcomes a new paramedic, Emily Foster to the team, replacing Dawson on Ambulance 61. Boden clashes with new Assistant Deputy Commissioner Gorsch-an obvious sycophant to the new Commissioner, Grissom-when he tries to clean up the Firehouse's reputation.

yes it's Jesse and Monica's chemistry which makes me love them. I think that's why I don't enjoy Brettsey so much. Cause although to other people their characters may have chemistry, I just don't see it and I think it's cringe hahaha.

After all the times Matt stood by her, every time she made a decision that hurt him… she shouldn’t have done this to him. And he should have been angrier at her, not saying he’s proud. This hurt.

She decided to adopt that kid. I think after her failed pregnancy. Then somehow got Matt roped into it. She broke when she needed to let that kid go. Matt was damaged but she was broken. Then this volunteer thing. She does not have the concept of consulting your husband on things affecting both of you. She selfishly made this decision.
Look, I am not saying this thing is not noble. It is. But it is also something someone else can do. Not just her. I bet you Violet can do the same thing. My point is that she should've consulted Matt and the nobility of the job does not excuse her irresponsible gesture. Even the emotionless Severide consulted Stella on his OFI deal. At least when Stella snapped.
Dawsey had a good run. But it was a journey that was mostly Dawson deciding and Casey putting up with it. Matt deserved better.

Gabby doesn't live her life as someone who wants a stable long term rship. she makes decisions as if she is a single woman. that's not a criticism in that everyone should get to live their life as they want - but unfortunately people like Casey then get really hurt getting caught up in that person's life. I hope Casey moves on with Brett cos she is clearly looking for the kind of stable long term rship Casey is.
That's the problem with feminist now a day. They say women can do whatever she want, so these types of women doesn't survive in a real relationship. Both Men and women have to sacrifice something for other but women can't do that.

At first i thought the way dawson pined for casey she would actually do everything for him when they are finally together. Like she will be the giver cause i always thought she loved casey more but when seasons evolved it actually became opposite along with that dawson's character became so annoying like casey had to do everything acc to her or else their relationship is over. That threat always loomed over them and i felt dawson did nothing to remove it. Ever.

I'm glad Dawson left the show. In the first few seasons, yeah, she was nice, but as the seasons went on and her relationship with Casey developed, I kinda got the sense that Dawson was the type to go "It's my way or the highway". It always had to be about her and her decision was final, and if Casey or anyone else thought differently, she'd cause an argument
