Love your humble attitude but also how you explain each number in detail and give real examples! Please make more videos diving deeper into options trading (the Greeks for example)! I've been binging your videos and going back multiple times to take notes :)
Very informative and easy to understand, just executed my first Put Sell with expri date next week. Been doing covered calls until seeing your video as the other Put videos are very complicated. Thank YOU!!!
Thank you so much for your wonderful videos! I know it takes a humongous amount of time, energy, & resources putting these videos together, but you're doing an awesome job & helping so many, like myself, understand how to trade better & make better profits. Please keep up the great work & best of wishes to you & thank you again for all your hard work & help! ❤️👍🤑
Thanks Karson for sharing your OPINIONS and strategy here and for reminding us about RISK....but I thought it's only RISKY if you don't use a stop loss when you enter a trade?
What happens say in yur example the say , u get yur credit n u want to get out of the trade, b4 expiration n going the way u want it to go ,going up what happens the mathematical? Thanks!
After getting used to options and the greeks ...reminds me of the quote from the movie Matrix " ...there's way too much information to decode the Matrix. You get used to it, though. Your brain does the translating. I don't even see the code. All I see is blonde, brunette, redhead. " 😆
I sold a put option on Monday, and it expires end of week, do I have to wait til expiration to cash it out, can I cash it out the next day? I thought I understood this until I did it.
Very new on trading options. So, what happened to the date 11/19 on those stock? Did you wait until 11/19 or sell the put before 11/19? Curious about what had happened at the end.
What if you pick a strike price option above the market price, because 1. You collect a higher premium and 2. You are comfortable buying at that price because it’s still lower than your average buy in price of the stock?
So (sell, put) means your buying shares at a certain price that you chose And (sell, call) means your selling 100 shares that you already own at certain price and date?
Another question. Do We always let the contract expire or is there a scenario where we sell that contract? I think I sold one because I was loosing money, but up to now I'm not sure what I did at all...lol...
So if the seller loses money, because they have to buy the stocks at the $8 amount, how does the buyer make money? is the seller buying the stocks from the buyer for the $8 ?/ I am confused at how the buyer makes money.
Your video's are so informative, Thank you. Please keep in mind that not all of your viewers are in their 20's and 30's, some of us are late to the party and looking for advice. Thanks again!!
It’s incorrect to say that if the put buyer is In The Money 💰 that they will assign you to buy the 100 shares. They have the option but MAY decide to have you buy back the contract so they can keep the shares. Alternatively, the broker might close the contract for you instead if they decide there’s some risk involved for you. It’s happened to me so that’s how I know. I even had money to cover my assignment. This was with Robinhood. Other brokers are similar. You should also look into pin risk. It’s not that black and white when trading options unless you do it frequently and get into many situations from experience.
Very informative!!! Learn a lot from your video then others . Easy and simple . Also I think you should make a video that , how to choose the right stock for option trading. And what is the Greeks should I looking for before any movement for option trading . Thanks karson
Just started about a week and a half ago. Learning more and more everyday 280$ away from 2000. Which is almost 3x where I started my other 1000 is in amc😏😂I’m pretty knowledgeable when it comes to how to play an option the only thing I struggle with how to find banger plays consistently. Instead of just catching a stock blowing up early or catching a stock right after it bounces off a resistance. Any suggestions???
so if we are losing the contract for example and it says our loss was -81 does that mean that we have to buy the 100 contracts and the on top of that we lost the -81 ?
WHAT IS THE SECRET to getting a frigging brokerage to ALLOW you to at least get into level TWO options? For ANY person considering this DO NOT give any brokerage any money UNTIL they allow you in at least at level TWO options trading. You will NOT be able to make any money. They string hold you. SO MANY people have no clue about having to APPLY if you will for level 2 and up. Buy the course first then find out you cannot do much with options. Piss me off.
Thanks! Finally getting into this a bit later in life then I wanted to, but here we are. Great video. Are your parents English or Australian and you grew up in US/Canada or something? Excuse the naive American ear
Just found your channel Karson and I absolutely love it! Your videos are so helpful for people like me who have some investing experience, but who are just getting into options trading. Also, go Cougars! You have a new subscriber :)
Hi Karson, thank you so much for all the information. I was watching videos on how to do options and then you came up as a suggested video and I just loved the way you explain everything. I justs susbscribed toy your channel. I am a beginner, I got in to this two weeks a go with 0 experience... recently I tried buying my first call option but then later on the same day it got cancelled by robinhood. Am sure I did something wrong, thats why am reaching out to you for some help. ¿Do you think you give me an advise? Any course you suggest for me to take so I can learn o do you have tutorials I can follow on your channel. Thanks Karson. As you can see I have no clue of what am doing, but I want to learn so I can provide maybe a little something for my house.
Out of all the videos I've watched, you explained this plain and simply for me, a beginner to understand. Thank you!!!
A natural educator. Not everyone has the ability to break things down and explain it like this.
Love your humble attitude but also how you explain each number in detail and give real examples! Please make more videos diving deeper into options trading (the Greeks for example)! I've been binging your videos and going back multiple times to take notes :)
Thanks Stella
You came up as a suggested video while watching my daily AMC videos! Good luck!!!
Thanks Ranae!
Best selling put option video ever. Qq, do you just let the option to expire? What happens when you close it before the expiration?
I was wondering the same thing lol. Also same question for buying call options- do you just let it expire and your earnings go into your account???
Very informative and easy to understand, just executed my first Put Sell with expri date next week. Been doing covered calls until seeing your video as the other Put videos are very complicated. Thank YOU!!!
This is the most thorough explanation so far. Great Job!

Thank you for explaining how to sell a put on Robinhood. The way you spoke made it easy for me to digest the information.
You have a gift of thoroughly explaining. Thanks sis.
Hey Karson! Thank you so much for your videos. Your content is so great, and I know you put a lot of time in them. Appreciate you :)

Very nice video!
Very helpful content. I was trying to look up selling put options and was having a hard time but you made it so easy!!! Keep it up. Huge shoutout
Thanks now I understand sell put options best video in UA-cam about options.
A question: some of the premium is in red some in green what does that mean?
You were very helpful! Thank you so much for taking the time to do this!
I finally can understand sell put omg thank u very much
Best explanation yet!
Nice one. BEST EXPLAINED. GOD BLESS YOU
Thanks Karson for sharing your OPINIONS and strategy here and for reminding us about RISK....but I thought it's only RISKY if you don't use a stop loss when you enter a trade?
Simple and clear. Thank you!!!
Decay and volatility affects Selling options and 45 days is the sweet spot for selling options, and you can sell Calls for a bearish bet too.
What happens say in yur example the say , u get yur credit n u want to get out of the trade, b4 expiration n going the way u want it to go ,going up what happens the mathematical?
Thanks!
Awesome information thank you 😊
Clean explanation. 🙏
After getting used to options and the greeks ...reminds me of the quote from the movie Matrix " ...there's way too much information to decode the Matrix. You get used to it, though. Your brain does the translating. I don't even see the code. All I see is blonde, brunette, redhead. " 😆
I see a brunette
I sold a put option on Monday, and it expires end of week, do I have to wait til expiration to cash it out, can I cash it out the next day? I thought I understood this until I did it.
What about that 100 share is that goes to the buyer or you keep owning that
Workhorse is now at .33 and that’s crazy how low it is .
Can you sell the put contract at any time and still collect the premium?
Hey Karson, great video! I’m all about generating passive income as well! Will be following you as a fellow content creator☺️
So to be able to sell a put your account needs a minimum of 1k to be able to sell in case it loses, its coverd?
Does the option expire when the market closes or midnight?
You deserve more subs !
Very new on trading options. So, what happened to the date 11/19 on those stock? Did you wait until 11/19 or sell the put before 11/19? Curious about what had happened at the end.
To get the premium do i have to wait until my expiration day
They can’t ask you for any other money right? If we bet it will go to $5 and it did for example
Would be owing anyone anything?
What if you pick a strike price option above the market price, because 1. You collect a higher premium and 2. You are comfortable buying at that price because it’s still lower than your average buy in price of the stock?
I'm beginner hadn't bought option yet!
May I ask ,after the option is purchased.
Can u exercise or sell at anytime from when u bought to expiration?
Thumbs up 2 u!!
So (sell, put) means your buying shares at a certain price that you chose
And (sell, call) means your selling 100 shares that you already own at certain price and date?
What if you choose the strike price above the stock price itself?
Really like the way you explain every number, so much clear to understand
Thank you !!!
Great video lots of talent!
What about selling puts above the stock price?
Is there anyway to reduce the loss?
can i hold even if it drops below $8 dollar strike?
If the company does a reverse split and the stock goes up before the contract expires, does that void the contract?
Are you learning about forex too? I'm learning forex in the nfc community.
Another question. Do We always let the contract expire or is there a scenario where we sell that contract? I think I sold one because I was loosing money, but up to now I'm not sure what I did at all...lol...
Well in the case of selling put options, you can buy it back any time before expiration to close out the position.
@@KarsonGaule Thank You. It was a great video.!!!👍🏼🙏🏼
So if the seller loses money, because they have to buy the stocks at the $8 amount, how does the buyer make money? is the seller buying the stocks from the buyer for the $8 ?/ I am confused at how the buyer makes money.
That premium 119 dollars u get everyday? Or when u close the option before expiration day?
Thank you 🙏
i apprecaite this thank you
Why you choose both?
Hi

I was told I need 25,000 to get into options. Is that true
No
Very well explained, great video Karson!
Thank you!
I'm liking for support, but the process you're describing in this video isn't for me. Very good job explaining the details, though.
so if we are losing the contract for example and it says our loss was -81 does that mean that we have to buy the 100 contracts and the on top of that we lost the -81 ?
It sounds to me like it is a high-risk trade. I would stick to Currency trade
Now i understand put options
You going to make a video of how to buy a put?;
1k subs coming up girly!
High quality stuff!
Being on the winning side of selling a put, how am I losing money?
Can you close it at any time

Your voice is amazing! something about a beautiful woman speaking finance is a dream. Keep doing what you doing! your awesome
good demonstration, but workhorse was $6.25 on Nov 19th, loss of $1.75/share or $175. So your warning that it's risky was right on target.
