I found out a way a while ago to do this on LumaFusion, you duplicate the clip and place it on top of itself and on the top clip apply the green screen effect and change the target colour to the colour you want to keep, then on the same clip apply the b&w effect to make everything else grey except for the colour you have chosen, hope this helps
OMG HI WQRKU!! i just watched this video and was scrolling through comments for ways to do this with lumafusion only and found your comment!! thank you for this, i’m going to try it right now. :D
Keep red does not work well as a selective color, on some maybe, but in the lenght i would go with proper selective luts. You can find selective color presets in the extreme bundle on sellfy
if it was a photo you could make a selection in affinity photo and then do a black and white effect on the bit you selected, the just save that image and use that
True mate! But you have a point for photos! if you make a photo slideshow and want a few photos to be selective colored, what you mentioned is definitely the fastest way if you dont have the LUTs already installed to lumafusion 👍

Amazing, how can I do this only instead of grey it is a different colour grade?
Can we use any other application like lightroom for selective colour grading in luma fusion instead of affinity tool?
Always wanted to know how to do this. Now I know. Thank you 👍
🤗
I created LUTs in Affinity photo. I can't mark it and put it in LUMAFUSION. Any solutions? Thanks buddy.
So would this work on a video as well after creating the lut

I can’t find affinity photo in the app store
if it was a photo you could make a selection in affinity photo and then do a black and white effect on the bit you selected, the just save that image and use that
although you would have to do it again every time
