I enjoyed your rod and surf clinic The sinker clips are slightly different to the leader/rig clip. The sinker clip has a bait holder hook. Which will not fit through the rod rings. The rig clips do not have the bait hook. They are mainly used for clipping leaders to rigs. They fit through most rod eyes. When casting always make sure your leader and clip clear off the rod tip. We use those clips all the time over here in uk
What make of reel are the ones you demonstrating?? I did not hear you mention the make and although I do cast a good distance I would like to know if I will get more distance with a 15 foot rod compared to say my 13,6 rod.
Excellent info Barry. Still the most knowledgeable man this country has in my opinion

Hi. What Quick Clips do you use on your leaders?
Hi. Why are there a 14.6ft and 15ft rods with the same casting weights. For example, the Assassin Solar.
Are they for people of different heights?
The audio is very low. Can you perhaps have it fixed and repost?
The rod being demonstrated what make and size please
