Very cool tune! And the guitarist is holding a 1952 Les Paul. First year they were made and a very rare guitar! Though I think the song was originally written by Willie Dixon or another one of the old-time blues greats. Zep just covered it themselves...
la cancion es de dixon es indiscutible, pero la version mas famosa y mejor la hizo led zeppelin, es ese el merito de led zeppelin, metanse en el proyecto
Not a Zeppelin original. I'm sure you all covered that. Good to know the origins of a song, Most of LZ's first few releases were covers of old(er) blues songs.
The song was written by Willie Dixon the great blues bass player......Led Zeppelin knew fully well they didn't write the song but some asshole at Atlantic Records (Not Ahmet Ertugen) decided it was public domain. They were wrong, they got sued, and Willie Dixon made a great deal of money.....millions.
Dio is literally the best singer ever!! Keep on rocking in the sky dude!!!

Totally a Papa Willie song. And this version is closer to Willie's own. About the time this was recorded "I am the Blues" - Willie Dixon was released

I think my ears just exploded hearing Dio sing one of my favorites from the Zep back log... I might have to change my pants as well
Aside from the original non-Led Zeppelin song, this version by Dio was even better than the others in every way.
