I'm wondering what happened to the plan to replace Xcelerator with Xceleraror 2.0, which would have moved Supreme Scream and extended the layout of Xcelerator. I know that they were also supposed to replace Pony Express with a new one-of-a-kind B&M coaster but this was before the problems with Monte and before the merger with Six Flags.
The Tijuana Taxis were AMAZING! for an antique autos ride lol, had a tunnel...and during Scary Farm would have zombies chase you around the track and waiting at the tunnel to scare you...yeah...that was a LONG time ago, that ride is now Camp Snoopy lol
I’m kind of losing hope for montanazoomas revenge opening. It’s 2 years since they promote it. While at universal studios they have a roller coaster that doesn’t open up until 2 years and they are moving very quickly with it.
I went to the park today and while waiting in the queue for Silver bullet they actually showed a title card for Montezuma opening in 2025 and they're changing the name a little because it's no longer revenge but can't recall what it's going to be but gave me hope for sure
Just going to let Montezooma sit there and marinate a bit longer... Boardwalks were ALWAYS popular! From Lost Boys to Warriors they all loved their boardwalks!
@@demonoid7469 That’s true. And I was always a big fan of them! I was just trying to pinpoint the decade Knotts was going for with theirs. Music and theming wise lol. Man, Lost Boys made me fall in love with Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk though growing up!
@@Chastains-in-LA Yeah same lol...In southern California growing up, we never went up to the boardwalk...after that movie...That summer we took our first trip and I have gone there at least once every year since then! Was just there a week or so ago and did the Christmas train they do, it was actually nice!
Seems the opposite of poor Superman. Good for us Knott's fans though!
@@sushiyamaster989 I know right?!?! Next year we might get a cool Superman movie, but lose a cool Superman ride. 😔😔
@sushiyamaster989 Superman is definitely not going to reopen ever again.
The new Superman movie looks really good though.
I just assume nothing is ever going to happen with Montezooma's Revenge.
@@tbx59 You’re not alone there. Even with the forward movement it has for a second, it’s eerie how it just completely shut down again
It seems like sole spin always brakes down. They should replace it
@@DanielLenning-fy6fq it ALWAYS does!!! Lol

@@DaisyLynn-xm1pl The B&M coaster I thought was just a rumor? I didn’t hear about xcelerator 2.0. That would’ve been kinda cool though!!
I honestly wonder how many more years the dragon swing has left before it is replaced.
@@DaisyLynn-xm1pl which will be such a sad day. But I feel that way about a lot of fiesta village rides lol
@@Chastains-in-LA Over the years Fiesta Village has had so many rides that I loved that were replaced.

Montezooma the forbidden fortress is scheduled to open sometime in 2025.
@@DanielLenning-fy6fq yeah, some things Knotts does can be pretty upsetting. It felt like this with xcelerator at one point too

How the f are they tearing down ka but this piece stays open. Cedar fair couldn't stand losing the record to ka and this is the proof
