Bring Love- Lisa Shalom and Liran Pas Kehat- Music Video

One year ago, a certain voice grew louder on the world stage.
On the last US election day, alongside many, I committed to allowing my own to rise up, through any and all reservation.
This is how I found myself filming a test for my vision for this music video on New Year’s Day, 2017. On inauguration day, (exactly one year ago today,) we filmed this clip for Bring Love, a song that had been collecting dust in the recesses of my hard drive for some years… until I found an acceptance of initiation into my own post, painting rhymes and melodies on canvasses of odd-time beats and instruments, (out in the open for ears to hear!!!) of which there will be more to come here- / lisababashalom

Today, I’ve got all the feels making this offering of my first music video, backed by a team of A-game pro-funktionals. A word-
We’ve been nonchalantly walking around this joint, tossing wreckage into a pile of scrapped potential.
At a time when many look around and see so much brokenness, this is my love letter to the Ones ready, willing and able to give their feet to the road to restoring ourselves, our relationships and our surroundings to the wholeness that we already are.
There is nothing fluffy about Love, but the word get tossed around as if it were cotton candy- sickly sweet, and forever pastel.
:) Nah.
Love is fierce. Love is the path of those courageous enough to visit dark places, bear witness, light candles, stay with it, stand firm, surrender, apologise, cut cords, laugh, modify behaviour, reserve judgment, become vulnerable, be flexible, say no, say yes, shut up and listen, set boundaries and consequence, request guidance, speak out, be still, accept, question, give, receive, stand up- when it’s the season to do so, as mandated by that small, still voice within.
So.
If we are the ones we’ve been waiting for, we are equipped to answer that which calls from inside the tides of our pulse.
Positive transformation IS arising, as WE grow ready, willing and able to commit to aligning with the multi-faceted force of Love with as much unwavering tenacity as those bent on subscribing to the way of fear, along this long, strange, beautiful trip.
We depend on you more than you may wish to admit, to collectively get out of this pickle, out of this jam as we circle back to Source.
