      Have you run photoshop or any other editing software on this, and if so how has your experience been?

    Hey Lon, when looking at 2-in-1's, do you have the ability to show how well Photoshop, Illustrator, or some other design programs perform?

    Just saw it for 299 euro.
    Hard used but this pretty much means the back etc,no display error or similar

    It is my daily driver since it's launch this year... Not so convinced about build quality and fan noise. Display glas on my unit is a little loose at the bottom left edge. Sent it in to service at Lenovo without much success. Also the fan behavior based on processor load seems to be less than ideal. At least in my use cases, several normal office programs and web browsing / streaming music or video at the same time, fan is always on rather speedy.

    Thank you for the video.
    My yoga 370 has a soldered RAM. Can it be upgraded?

      Technically conceivable in principle. Practically, however, it is usually not feasible.
      The devices are often designed in such a way that they cannot manage more than the installed RAM.
      So if you wanted to expand the RAM, you would probably also have to modify the BIOS/UEFI and, in the worst case, even replace the processor.
      And then you are probably in a range where you can just buy a new device in terms of effort and parts costs.

    Any chance you can review the Acer Swift 3 with intel 8th gen MX 150? Seems like a great deal, but I can;t seem to find a trsuted review anywhere!

    Ubuntu 17 works out of the box on this computer, just the finger print scanner will never function, because no driver is in development..

  • @Droogie128

    Highly overpriced. There's no reason for something in that range to only have 8gb of memory in 2018. Also, to have it single channel only seems like they cut quite a few corners in the design.

    • @TobyCowles
      @TobyCowles 6 років тому +1

      Droogie128 I agree but then I got a similar one on a killer sale almost exactly a year ago, it is a thinkpad 14 yoga with a 6200u, GTX940m, 8gb ram, 256gb SSD, active stylus etc. For $600 openbox from bestbuy it has been a great laptop for school, and if you keep your eyes open you don't have to pay lenovos crazy price
