We understand Powder's heartache... her innocence that was lost, her childhood that was robbed. It wasn't her fault... none of it was... Yet, she was always the smallest... the weakest... the last... And she grew up with a darkness in her heart.. a darkness that protected that poor scared little child deep inside, who was mocked and bullied and eventually, turned away. The only person to love Jinx for who she was ... was Silco... and when she killed him... It broke something in her. She is truly alone now.
To be honest I feel like it was powder who killed Silco not Jinx and after that that’s when Jinx finally took over because Powder was still their and probably the last time was their when she killed Silco for Violet. So now it’s all Jinx.
Jinx was bullied growing up, by everyone around her. She was trying to avenge herself by trying to help. She was a child who wasn’t raised on right and wrong. She didn’t know what the bomb would’ve done, and she always tried her best. After Vi left he, she was destroyed. She was now spending time with Silco, who was also betrayed. She had him in a sad way. I feel more as Jinx then anyone else in the story, so that may be why, but I just feel bad for both. Yet I still feel Jinx more.
As an older sister to two younger sisters, I NEVER want to be like Vi....my god....I even hated her character a little bit....yeah I understand that she was upset that her family was killd but what about Powder???? Why did she have to bne violent with her KNOWING that she has mntal health problems and is very vulnerable ...what about Powder who not only lost hr family but alsohas to live with the guilt that she did it....everybody says poor Vi...poor Vi but nobody realizes that Powders situation is sooo much worse and whats even mor horrible is that her sister was a part of what mad her Jinx ...I hope that I never lasgh out at my sistrsthat way....I hope that I never become someone like Vi.... and before you say "but you havent lost" NONO....you ggouys dont know how much of my family I have lost and the kind of life me and my sisters have had ....but I have nevr been violent with them or called them bnames that traumatize them
This song is truly the anthem of Jinx. I love how the studio took a pair of overly sexualized “pixie” girl champions from league and made them such strong and nuanced characters that you love, but also understand why some people could hate them. They feel more human than almost any actual human I’ve seen on screen. I know supposedly Arcane will be an anthology, so we may never get to see Vi and Jinx on screen again, I just hope the 2nd season does them justice by being just as good. Also Silco being 100% original and not in League lore is crazy, fantastic villain.

Vi, Jinx, and Caitlyn are confirmed in Season 2. I'm torn - I want more of their story, but I also want/hoped for the anthology of stories/seasons/characters all around the world of Runeterra. Piltover & Zaun are just scratching the surface of the potential here.
This is so dark and emotional. I love it. I can't imagine what Jinx went through, even now since it's continuing, but I understand her pain, I really do. Losing her sister, and her family at once thanks to a mistake. Thanks to that, she turned into a different person, even though people change overtime, But I am a different person too after all these years. I even wrote a poem inspired by Arcane, and I'm scared to share it because people may get the wrong idea, as always, but I want to. This has inspired me, and I love it. I know that Vi's relationship with Jinx will get better.
She is perfectly flawed, because this is the reality that Silco has been ignoring his whole life. He is the backhanded villain like "politician" or mob boss, and he created Jinx as the perfect tool/toy he could use, so she was perfect to him and his ambitions, while in reality she turned from an innocent child into a coldhearted psycho. And in the end she pretty much decides to roll with it and drop that last bit of her former self. She is now the perfect Jinx.
I want vi to have a big moment in s2 where she breaks down and lets all her trauma and pain come out. She's been bottling it up for years and there is still so much trauma we don't know about from her time in prison. She got beat up every day and probably worse. Yall might say that "oh she's strong, she could have just fought off anyone bothering her." That's true to some extent but if it was a big group or if it was the guards, or if she was injured already, vi was really at the mercy of them. In prison the guards get to control you and make you do what they want pretty much. Vi would not have been able to fight much.
nah...she is showing her trauma the whole season 1....she just does it diffrntly than Jinx and I know that she will try to kill her sister....I dont like Vi at all...myself being an older sister two 2 younger ones, and our family history is also very horrible , I sometimes flt like I was a mother to them rather than sister and I NEVER imagine being violent with them....not even in this situation , I would have ran to hug Powder cause they BOTH lost their entire family and I undrstand that for Powder its even worse cause she has mental heltah issues, was bullied all her life and she TOO lost her family...for her its even worse cause she did it hrself ... Everyone's saying "Poor jinx" but what about Vi? Honestly my heart aches for Vi way more than Jinx especially as an older sister myself. Vi geniunely was such an amazing sister to powder up until that last moment, despite all of Powder's annoying mistakes that cost them a lot. She always tried to include powder. Vi raised powder when they had no parents. Vi had all the pressure to be responsible for everyone. And what do you expect? You expect a kid to keep their cool after they've just seen everyone around them die because their annoying kid sibling didn't listen to what they said? Yes powder was only trying to help but Vi's outburst was justified and completely understandable. And then Vi had to live with that guilt of those being her final words to powder for years, not knowing where her sister is or if she's okay. Powder was everything to Vi and that was clear. Honestly Vi has suffered more than anyone in this show in my opinion. Jinx had Silco to support her. Vi had no one left. Everyone in this show is a victim. And I think part of what makes the show so beautiful is that you can sympathise with and understand the situations of all the characters. But Vi has honestly had is worse than anyone. It's crazy to me cause ik some people who actually villianse her.
I think people miss the point that they were *both* children. Both of them. They were *both* in over their heads, and so many of the mistakes both Powder *and* Vi made were made because they were children without effective parenting. I know Vander tried, but he didn't try enough. And Powder was already spiraling when Silco got a hold of her.

Thing is, you're right - Vi will probably recover and endure, because her foundation was always far more solid than Jinx's. But Jinx? Barring a miracle, I suspect she'll only slide further down the spiral without Silco to keep her grounded. I think it's less about "whose pain is worse."
I noticed that most stories from "LoL" characters seem to revolve around family love, extreme passion and political/religious causes. I think the main theme this universe tries to tell us is the world is VERY complicated and different. But you shouldn't give up on it. You just need to find what works best for you.
I think it's not about looking for a culprit or a villain in this story. The vast majority went through traumatic situations. Vi was the older sister, and therefore, she had more responsibility on her shoulders, however, she already had a conscience, she knew what she could do with her possibilities, even if it was bad. In Jinx's case it wasn't like that, she was still a girl with many unanswered questions, although Vi did it to protect her, Jinx grew up feeling so different from the rest, with her insecurity and feeling that she couldn't be of help to people she loved. . I empathize a lot with Jinx because it's hard not to feel part of this world or its people.
I haven't actually watched the series yet, but I've been watching plenty of videos so I know what's happening. And as much as I sympathize with both Vi and Jinx, for some reason, Jinx will always be the one I identify with most. She's done bad things, yes, but she wants to be accepted and loved for who she is, not who she could be. I think she fooled herself into thinking that Silco loved her like that, because he 'saved' her when she was a child. But I think that's why she and Vi will never regain their relationship - because Vi wants her sister back, without the schizophrenia and all the bad parts. And that's not possible
The series is truly beautiful and a must watch. Also try and read the comment thread with over 600 likes or something, much more stuff explained there. And silco actually loved her, he also took advantage of her.
SORRY THIS IS SO LONG! GOT CARRIED AWAY. This is fabulous. I would say Jinx is innocent. After Episode 3, she was brought up by Silco who has no boundaries to what she can do. He lets her just roam and be free. This shows her true self but in the wrong form. She didn't know the difference between right or wrong and that sometimes results in her doing what she was brought up to think was right. Shes innocent and Silco is too. There just people who believe that to save their loved ones, sometimes death may be a part of that. Also this is really nice, maybe add some lines as overlays like voice overs of the characters lines from other scenes :).
I'd say she did know right from wrong, just too many people tried to force her to believe theirs so she stopped caring about them. it's not like she hurt kids or random civilians
The gilty is Piltover. When you opress people, they will bend until they won't. For me it's not that much a story about what grief and loss can make a person do, but more about what systemic oppression can do. Against this oppression, there will be those who will be scared (Vander), those who will seize power for themselves (Silco) and those who won't be powerful enough (Ekko). And in the middle of this, two sisters to add a little chaos ^^ But nice edit anyway haha
The undercity fighting for independence as a nation fighting together lead by Vander with his two prodigy daughters, the juggernaut Vi, and the genius mechanic, engineer and inventors Ekko and Jinx. Together this unstoppable force of 4 claims victory on the battlefield or the tables of the council.
There are lots of could have beens in this show it's crazy !! What could have been if powder stayed out of the fight for vender as vi said What could have been if vi wasn't taken and arrested and was able to stop silco from talking to powder or even if she couldn't stop him prove to powder that she isn't abandoning her What could have been if ekko didn't interrupt the reunion between vi and jinx What could have been if silco got to shoot vi before jinx shot him (I would love to know what such outcome will lead to) And what's crazier is that every situation unintentionally made a disaster
She would not have abandoned her, that's why they put in the scene where the corrupt Enforcer nabbed her. But she needed to be away from her for a bit to handle the situation. The way Vi and Powder have been was wholesome and not even this situation would have changed that. All the other people around them were not as important to them as their team of two sisters. This is why Powder got destroyed by Vi rejecting her in that moment and never recovered, and this is why Vi instantly went back to see her when she got the chance to do so. For Vi, time stood still from that moment on, and you could see this when they met again and she instantly runs to her to hug her, while Powder turned into Jinx in those years, and her reaction said just as much about what she was expecting. While Vi was looking forward to reuniting, Powder/Jinx probably wanted Vi to appologize for all the things she had to go through from that day forward, so she was kind of stunned and looked empty as she probably never expected Vi to actually come running to her when she used that flare. All of this makes this so beautifully sad. Such a stunning mess.
The song and the show is unique. It's as if it was created by someone from another world. I've never seen anything better. I look forward to the next sequel. Hopefully it won't spoil like it does with other episodes of other shows. Greetings from the Czech Republic.❤💔

Silco didn't make Jinx - Powder made Jinx. When Powder blew up her friends, Vi knew that Powder wasn't there anymore, that's why she got angry. She wanted Powder back from Jinx. Later, when Vi comes out of prison, Jinx misses Vi, and Vi wants Powder back. When they meet, and go through the hoops of life, Jinx realizes that Vi doesn't love Jinx, and Vi doesn't understand that Powder is gone, and Jinx has taken her place.
This is beautiful, but in an Asian way. It's beautiful because it's rare and because you know that time will move on mercilessly no matter how much you want to hold on to the fleeting moment. Jinx is just such a symbol of what was and what could have been. The entire story is tragic and yet so beautiful.

Jinx is in the right at the end of the show, she chose to align herself with the broken victims of the world. She inevitably will die for her cause but it's a noble and beautiful death. Whereas vi chose to befriend and accept the oppressors as comrades. People say that powder lost herself but that's just not true. Jinx was born out of an understanding of pain and suffering. Jinx is the final and perfect form of powder.
Nah she´s just a crazy fuck up that literally destroyed the one chance of peace and prosperity. All she did was doom Zaun to endless oppression because she ruined that one chance where the wheel could´ve been stopped from spinning.
jinx followed a man who killed their father and tried to kill her siblings, if we're talking about "befriending" the enemies. She doesn't care about Zaun, doesn't care about the cause, she fckedup missions, triggered the enforcers and kidnapped the leader of this cause. All she cares about is her.

What could have been if vi wasn't taken and arrested and was able to stop silco from talking to powder or even if she couldn't stop him prove to powder that she isn't abandoning her
What could have been if ekko didn't interrupt the reunion between vi and jinx
What could have been if silco got to shoot vi before jinx shot him (I would love to know what such outcome will lead to)
And what's crazier is that every situation unintentionally made a disaster
She would not have abandoned her, that's why they put in the scene where the corrupt Enforcer nabbed her. But she needed to be away from her for a bit to handle the situation. The way Vi and Powder have been was wholesome and not even this situation would have changed that. All the other people around them were not as important to them as their team of two sisters. This is why Powder got destroyed by Vi rejecting her in that moment and never recovered, and this is why Vi instantly went back to see her when she got the chance to do so. For Vi, time stood still from that moment on, and you could see this when they met again and she instantly runs to her to hug her, while Powder turned into Jinx in those years, and her reaction said just as much about what she was expecting. While Vi was looking forward to reuniting, Powder/Jinx probably wanted Vi to appologize for all the things she had to go through from that day forward, so she was kind of stunned and looked empty as she probably never expected Vi to actually come running to her when she used that flare.
All of this makes this so beautifully sad. Such a stunning mess.

When Powder blew up her friends, Vi knew that Powder wasn't there anymore, that's why she got angry. She wanted Powder back from Jinx.
Later, when Vi comes out of prison, Jinx misses Vi, and Vi wants Powder back. When they meet, and go through the hoops of life, Jinx realizes that Vi doesn't love Jinx, and Vi doesn't understand that Powder is gone, and Jinx has taken her place.

This is beautiful, but in an Asian way. It's beautiful because it's rare and because you know that time will move on mercilessly no matter how much you want to hold on to the fleeting moment. Jinx is just such a symbol of what was and what could have been. The entire story is tragic and yet so beautiful.
Out of curiosity, what do you mean by "Asian way"? Lamenting the passage of time and holding onto fleeting moments seem pretty universal to me.

Jinx is in the right at the end of the show, she chose to align herself with the broken victims of the world. She inevitably will die for her cause but it's a noble and beautiful death. Whereas vi chose to befriend and accept the oppressors as comrades. People say that powder lost herself but that's just not true. Jinx was born out of an understanding of pain and suffering. Jinx is the final and perfect form of powder.
Nah she´s just a crazy fuck up that literally destroyed the one chance of peace and prosperity. All she did was doom Zaun to endless oppression because she ruined that one chance where the wheel could´ve been stopped from spinning.

jinx followed a man who killed their father and tried to kill her siblings, if we're talking about "befriending" the enemies. She doesn't care about Zaun, doesn't care about the cause, she fckedup missions, triggered the enforcers and kidnapped the leader of this cause. All she cares about is her.
