I remember the first time seeing this car in a motortrend video vs the Bugatti veyron. I think it’s the pure embodiment of a super car in terms of styling and performance and still looks gorgeous today.
Slight question: is it true that the seating position is slightly different as compared to normal cars? I heard from somewhere, they said the pedals are placed slightly different, i wonder what they meant. Is it like you're seating slightly sideways?
Love your (you + brother) videos. Just one thing regarding 9:26 : I know someone who owns the very same car just in a different color, drove it once myself. The engine really only starts to develop power over 4k or 4500 RPM even. You were shifting at around 4500 (which as you said later on is close to only being halfway there of what you could do), which is why it didn't feel as fast - because it isn't at lower RPMs. Red line after 8k RPM might be unfamiliar but it's there to be used, and if you do it's a very fast car. 🙂
Mike I can tell you right now- you won't detour me from getting a $300k Lamborghini.. My bank account will. Awesome review- you're excitement gets us happy.
I have only seen one, I live in Oslo Norway. Its presence was insane. I see 911 RS's, McLarens and normal production Ferraris all the time here. But the Aventador had immeeeense presense!
I always thought the Countach was the most eye catching, outrageous looking, BEST Lambo ever made but now I think the Aventador will be THE BEST Lambo in years to come PLUS unlike the Countach, it has been proven to be super reliable. It annoys me NO END that most reviewers want to see how they go on a track! Even the most ardent of "racer owners" may do it a few times a year so who cares how it goes on a track. I have an LP700-4 roadster and haven't even tried it in Corsa! Why? Because I'm not a racer and don't want to get a ticket on a road - I just want to LOOK at it!!
I honest to God saw an Aventador parked right next to a yellow Supra in front of a Toyota dealership and it must have been last year around this time. I could not take my eyes off the Supra.
Imagine a sintered metal 4-puck clutch and then twin compound turbochargers (big ones are 140mms), and they run on 69 psi of boost, oh god I'll stop... I went off, great video!
If that car has start stop, then it probably has cylinder deactivation as well, which I always found to be interesting. In the Aventador, it only turns on in strada mode, and at cruising speeds. It shuts off half of the V12 and then alternates between sides every 2 minutes so it wears evenly
Yeah pretty weird to see those in Supercars like this! I'd leave it in sport mode and most owners probably do and never have to experience the start/stop
Abdulla - that's the first thing I would change , it needs black gloss powder coated rims with red calipers , and maybe some chrome or brushed aluminum in some parts of the rims , it needs a cool batwing also , not a big one though , and some green , white and red for Italy little details here and there ! 💵💵💵🚬🥃👍
Well it is. Been out since 2012. So it's over a decade old. And even when it was new the single clutch transmission was pretty old school and out of date when most other cars were dual clutch. This drives very raw and mechanical which is a lot of fun. But it's very old school compared to every other supercar in its class since it's been out.
They still look good, that's for sure. But that single clutch is dated and think hurts the overall experience. Just imagine how much nice a good dual clutch would be in that car? Cool toy though, I personally would just get a Huracan for same $ or bit less.
Yeah it ads a ton of drama and character to the experience. Not a car you’d really end up driving every day. Huracan is way better for a daily and offers so much precession. But this is pretty epic to drive!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed No doubt man, it’s low and very wide. Makes incredible noises. So yeah it’s a wild rig. But as said think Huracan would be much more livable.
Good thing it was completely warmed up…this wasn’t a cold start at all. Can you see I’m not at a dealer? I had to drive to this location, it was fully warmed up.
Dude you know how much is for clutch change and some other parts following, last time I checked was around 9000 dollar and that was before inflation, yeah a clutch can last long well maybe not as much in a singel clutch box compared to dual clutch but if you are unlucky things can broke one after the other, they even have electronic issues:)or if you are lucky the car will take care of your wallet, but 6,5 liter that is a tirsty bull….get a huracan much safer and easy driving lambo:)
Yeah the Huracan is a much easier car to own and live with. However the clutch don't really seem to be a weak point in the Aventador. And if a $9k clutch repair scares someone off from buying this car, they probably can't afford the car to begin with
Well the Aventador has been an old school car. When it came out for the 2012 model year, other supercars already had dual clutch transmissions. So it was old school from the beginning. Amazing driving car!
Even being 10 years old, the body design definitely doesn’t look outdated to this day.
It’s aged very well! Such a great design! Nav screen is the only thing showing it’s age
Yea timeless design
FAX
It still looks more modern than actual modern cars which are getting worse day by day in terms of design philosophy
Agreed. They should have just stopped the body refreshes after this came out.
The best design that Lamborghini ever made! Aventador LP700-4 Master Piece!
Such an amazing car for sure!
The original LP-700-4 is still my dream car. It really is a perfect design
This is a REAL LIFE review of an Aventador. No frills, or fancy camera angles to hype up the "baller status" it gives off. Refreshing video. thanks
Glad you enjoyed this Lambo video!!! Such a fun car!!

I would have to agree!! Such a nice looking car for a 2014!! You’d never think it was that old!

The Aventador is such a fine car, it is way beyond my budget, even in my dreams.
I love the howling sounds of that all motor V12 engine.

For me it worth it, I actually to school and study again so I can afford this one day!! Its my inspiration in school 🤙🏼
Oh cool! Keep working hard towards it!
Always loved the Aventador and its been a dream car of mine for the longest time. Im curious to see the review of the huracan to compare the two.
We have a Huracan EVO RWD coming! And a RWD spider video! So much fun in those and way different then the V12 Aventador

I’ll miss the Lamborghini V12
The V12 makes such a good exhaust note!
