The way I would understand fourth rule.
Silence is most powerful weapon.
More I speak, more probability of me making some false commitments or any kind of mistake.
So from now I will weigh my words before I use them.

Third rule I wil use it as follows.
Now onwards I will not say what other person wants to hear or what result he wants, but I will also provide additional tip regarding it.
If my team lead is asking me to write a less efficient code, I will write what he wants and write another optimized code but will propose it when required.
