- Is PortAventura in Salou worth visiting for families with toddlers and young children? In this video, Scott and his 5 year old son enjoy a day at PortAventura experiencing all the best rides for someone that's 1.2m tall or shorter. We show you a variety of age appropriate rides as well as checking out the live entertainment around the park including new shows such as Can Can Story and West Gold Frenzy.

Amazing! Thanks for sharing, Scott. If he’s anything like me, he’ll love thinking back on trips to amusement parks with his parents when he was a kid.
I hope he’ll always remember this trip, I know I will 😎
I used to visit flamingo land a lot as a family and for me personally, I definitely think back to these memories quite alot.
if you don't mind me seeing this seeing you with your kid gives me good memories from when me and my dad use to have a good relationship 🙂 thank you
No worries thanks for watching
What a lovely vlog from a child/ family perspective. Charlie is a ⭐️
Thank you 😊
Great little vlog, think you could do a whole series around what youngsters can do as you've done this one flawlessly and showcased a lot for families
Thank you. I think as Charlie gets more confident with going on rides that’ll be something we look at doing
Watching this vlog is making me so excited for creating similar memories in a few years with my little boy. Just such a heart warming vlog seeing the excitement in both you and Charlie experiencing it together.
Thank you 🙏 It was such a great two days, I’d love to do it all over again.
Love this!!
Textbook example of how to introduce your little boy to the big wide world of roller coasters. 'Maybe... but I'll decide' is what my missus says when I tell her about Hyperia! Great vlog, really enjoyed it!
Thank you 😊
Awh Charlie is too cute! So sweet! I'd love to have gone to somewhere like this at his age 🤩
I’m hopeful he’ll remember trips like this fondly in 20/30 years 🤞🏼
@@yourexperienceguide I'm sure he shall! I remember all the theme parks I went to as a kid 🤩🤩
New subscriber to the channel, living vicariously through your videos because I’m scared of rollercoasters 😅😅 went there last year and the only “big coasters” I did were uncharted and stampida! Hoping to get over my fear someday because I love coasters really 😂
We’ve all got to start somewhere with coasters and I think doing those is a great start
It's all about building up confidence. Once I started riding, I couldn't stop!
@@danielward4868 Likewise, going on Ice Blast and then the Grand National boosted my confidence levels with rides. No wonder I like airtime 😂
Great vlog, we are past all the kids stuff with our daughter so was a fun look back (though never been to portaventura!). Lucky boy, looked like all had a great time
Thank you, it's genuinely one of the best trips I've ever had, absolutely loved seeing Charlie enjoy PortAventura so much.
@@yourexperienceguide That is lovely! Looked like it was great, he is a star.
Aww Charlie he's a little star, great vlog
Thank you 🙏
Thank you for a great video. I have a five year old and planning on taking him.
I completely recommend it
Your Charlie's like my 2 lads...when we were there last year, he just lapped Tutuki Splash all day. 🤣
He’s not stopped talking about it since we got home 😆
This was such a cute change of pace in vlog style 😃
It won’t be a regular change, but I really enjoyed doing this video 😁
@@yourexperienceguide We can tell, the family chemistry was great to watch 😃
My sons 15th today and how time goes by can't wait till we go to thorpe park or Alton towers still deciding for August
Have a great time
Have an awesome time wherever you go 😁
An excellent vlog of you both. Good to hear the parade music at the end. So wanna go back to PA again soon
I’m already thinking about the next trip 🤞🏼
Great vid scott i have 2 kiddies so my theme park visits are geared around them.
Thank you 🙏 Two of the best days I’ve ever had in a theme park
Nice one, just got back from 4 days on park last week. Legs still ache 😅
Hope you’re having (or had) a fabulous time.
We had a great trip thank you 🙏
He seemed like he had a good time, I've grown up going to PortAventura and I remember a lot of these being good fun as a kid.
He loved it and wants to come back soon 😂😊
your little boy is so cute i like his yellow shark t-shirt
🙏
Dont blame him , nobodys ready for stampida 😂
Lol I’m delighted he didn’t put me through it
Charlie is very brave for his age and I mean no disrespect to Charlie because he's doing much more than I did at 5, but was it difficult seeing all the roller coasters, some of the best in Europe, and not being able to ride them? I can see an inner coaster enthusiast coming on, I hated ghost trains at 5, then the year after I became a funfair enthusiast, and the week after that I went to gulliver's Kingdom and became a coaster enthusiast too. It's a shame I'm too old to go to gulliver's Kingdom now because of all the memories, I'm 15 now and it's under 12s I think. When I have kids that's how I'm going to get them into theme parks though so I'll get to see it again in about 20 years probably 😂.
My parents were with us so I had fast pass to jump on the big stuff as we walked past it all.
I’ve been to the park a lot over the years 😁
One thing I noticed about those teacups, was how noisy the drive motor for them is⚙️⚙️⚙️
That’s not a criticism, just an observation🤔
They’re very noisy
Brilliant vlog
Thank you 😊
Great vlog we go for the first time next month and will have a 2 year old is there much there for that age? Thanks
Sorry I’ve only just seen this, did you have a good time?
Hi mate, I’m off here next week, if you remember what were the queue times like for the adult rides?
Hey, queues were between 0-60 mins for the big stuff.
I recommend starting with Uncharted, single rider queue is always quiet first thing.
@@yourexperienceguide thank you very much. Loved the vlog!
I'm going on Tuesday for the first time, quick question do you know any tall people over the maximum height limits, do they regularly enforce this?
In the UK it's always been rare they enforce this but I notice at portaventura they have a 1.95m limit on almost everything so I'm slightly nervous about that.
I’ve never seen it enforced but I’m under that height limit
Where did you stay? Looking to do the same but unsure of hotels that are suitable for young kids (6 & 2)
We stayed in Salou at a hotel called Regente Aragon (now rebranded to Num hotel). It’s near the sea front, near lots of food places and easy to get transport options for the park.
