To be fair: Ludwig increased his attack power so high that he was sure the bros couldn’t survive while he distracted them so they couldn’t hit it back together. The only issue was that even he couldn’t take the damage output.
A evil smart villian, an entire alien race, a dark star capable of taking everyones soul, king of nightmares and alter reality versions of their rival.
Fun thing about Mario and Luigi in these games, since you can dodge and counter anything, if you're good enough at the game you're effectively all-powerful.
