- An interview with Mako A. Nagasawa about his book, "Abortion Policy and Christian Social Ethics in the United States." We discuss the biblical ambiguity of abortion, the social and economic conditions surrounding it, and the history of how the Church addressed the issue.
I highly recommend Mako's book as a well-researched and passionate study of this timely subject in America: amzn.to/3xgIDBR

Thank you so much for this wonderful interview. It is a rare joy to see Christians that are willing to talk about what have been binary issues in a non-binary conversation. I would love to see this in American churches more often.
I've been reading the book for the last month or so and although I'm very slow in getting through it I am so grateful that to have the resource (unfortunately reading is not very accessible to me, any chance there is an audiobook coming?)!
Thanks for watching, Melissa! I wish more in America could have these conversations without such black-and-white mentalities, too. I am glad to hear you are reading Mako's book! It is very good. I am not sure if Mako plans on making an audiobook, but I am sure he would love to hear from you about the book: www.anastasiscenter.org/contact-us.
I'll be honest, I came into this video expecting to get offended about what you were gonna say about abortion, but now I'm rethinking a lot of my economic values haha
Thanks for watching! I am glad to hear it was helpful. Mako's book is excellent for the subject. Highly recommend it.
