It is a pretty time of year! Especially liked the pumpkin wall, the dahlias, the aerial view, and the leap. haha The dahlia to me is lavender-pink that reads lavender from a distance. I think I need to grow that one. 😍 Sorry you have to dig all the dahlias up; I live in zone 7A, and can leave them in the ground. I do put cloches/mulch over them, but I think they may be okay without it- just don't want to chance.
We had a frost in the first week in September on the east coast of Ireland. It ended my Dahlia season abruptly. I normally have blooms until the end of October. A massive loss. I am so envious of the amount of flowers you have❤
Pink now but I have no doubt that earlier in the season it may have been more lavender. Thank you for the video! I've been waiting and listening through your playlists! I started with a small patch of flowers this year and have learned so much! I'm going to scale up a little for next year and see if I can sell at one of our local farmer's markets! Love your videos and your personalities!
I grow 20th avenue old major. Last year it was bright pink, it was in a place that received more sunlight the whole day. This year, it blooms from blush to lilac-ish to darker pink, they are planted in a place with less sunlight than last year. You are a very beautiful couple, and I could listen to your voice all day long! :) Your farm/garden is lovely! And that pumpkin wall! Thanks for intentionally planting milkweed for monarchs and other pollinators. Can't wait for your follow up dahlia video! Could you pls include the info on how you keep your dahlias from flopping even without staking or corraling them? Excited to join your seed and tuber sale.
Loved the tour! I'm sorry, I see pink on the dahlia. I wanted to let you know, I love your lavendar body oil, and hand soap. I use the lavendar body oil daily on my body. I have extremely dry skin from going through menopause, and your oil has made a big difference. The hand soap we use in our kitchen.
It is lavender, however I must agree that if you stare at it long enough when the flower is held up close then it takes on a pink hue. I also noticed that the older back petals were definitely lavender even when held close to camera screen. I would classify this beautiful dahlia as lavender, as that best describes the flower in the field, in natural light.
Ugh, deer 😩 I restarted my sunflowers 3 times, because they would jump a low point in my fence, come straight to the sunflowers plugs and eat them to the ground!
I googled it and the description in every link said lavender, although most of the photos looked pink with a slight underton of a blue hue. Much the same as Pennsgift, who's description always says pink.
what is the scientific name of the mexican sage. I tried to look it up on the internet but it gave multiple possibilities. About the dahlia I'd say lavender but its a hard call.

That's so sad! We definitely would not be prepared for a frost as early as that. The weather has been crazy this year.
SORRY but that is flat out PINK 😂🤣😂🤣
Thanks for the tour. Beautiful footage. Sorry, but I have to say pink as well.
I would say Lilac so that would be in the purple category 🤣
Your shows are so informative and inspirational. Thank you.

Pink no question

My 20th old major is definitely lilac/lavender purple - I wish I could add my photo
