I have found that not feeding the carp can be very succesful...I also made my controllers black with a marker and have had a lot less hits on the controller since.. (i use sbirulino's).. My favorite bait is still the white bread... Just feed a couple of slices.. that way u have like 20 bits for the carp to feed on.. with pellets it tends to be too much (like 200, when the carp only take 3-4 bits it gets too hard to hook them).. its also the cheapest and easiest to get hold of.. and a piece of white bread just stands out.. ive never been to a lake where carp dont take bread... also with bread u can just fish a size 2 hook.. because ur bait is bigger.
