1:55 I’ve tried this out for months & it’s saved more time than what I usually did (I used to dust mop the whole floor & then come in with a backpack vacuum to vacuum out from under the baseboards & corners)
Your videos are great and I purchase your training cards. I've implemented the team system in my business, but I would love a video on zone cleaning and how that works with team cleaning. Cheers from Canada!
We unfortunately do not. Most of the items featured are Waxie products. The name for each appears on the screen of this video and our dust mop essential video. So if you were in a school setting where you had a bunch of rooms, would just just carry the broom and dustpan in a trash barrel as you go room to room since you have so many piles to pick up?
We follow a team system. So one person is responsible for trash, dusting, wiping down surfaces, while someone follows their path with a dust mop or vacuum. If only one person is cleaning the account, they would do all general cleaning first, then finish with floors. So, there wouldn't be piles to pick up because it would be taken care of all at one time. We find this to be the most efficient way to clean. Hope this answers your question! Thanks for commenting.
@@OctoCleanMedia what I mean is, you have to throw away sweepings from each room somewhere. You get a lot of sweepings from 25 rooms and carrying a broom, dustpan and dust mop to each room is cumbersome. I just didn’t know if they carried their supplies in a trash barrel even though someone else does the trash.
Got it, sorry for the misunderstanding. Yes, you'd need a barrel to dispose of sweepings, but in the scenario you describe, a backpack vacuum would be more efficient. Dust mopping is much better for large open spaces or hallways.
@@OctoCleanMedia my problem is all the trash they leave on the floors in the classrooms. I sweep out literal piles of trash, it’s pretty crazy. They leave papers, chip bags, soda cans, juice boxes, candy wrappers… some stuff I pick up by hand, like cans, but sometimes it’s faster for me to just sweep it all out.
The dust mop heads are microfiber so you can follow the same steps outlined in this video for washing and caring for your mop heads. (ua-cam.com/video/EietlMD6EtE/v-deo.htmlsi=iFNXdt4ekbtCwcgk) In terms of washing every time, use your best judgement! If it isn't a high traffic account, and it isn't a highly regulated account for example medical, and you think you can get away with a few more days before the mop head is significantly soiled, nothing wrong with that. Just make sure you aren't using the same mop heads between different accounts. Thanks for watching!
Depending on the base, the mop head either slides or pulls right off. Here is a video where we go over all the equipment: ua-cam.com/video/Nem5-Dr0DhE/v-deo.htmlsi=oRpZ1R2SpheRLH5r
Hi! This is the full video for how to dust mop. We did film a video that went out before this one on the equipment used. That is a public video as well. The method of brushing on the corner is wrong because you allow the dust to rise up but instead, we need to try to control the dust. I mean the speed should be controlled instead of raising the dust. Removing dust from the dust control also is wrong. it should be done with a brush using a cover or with a vacuum cleaner. If the dust is raised up within two to three hours it can accumulate on the same surfaces. The corner can be vacuumed using the corner nozzles for better quality of work.
Is it weird I hear the way your breathing and I'm like, " That is the focused breathing." (When people are super focused on something they breathe like that) I do it when I draw and my partner does it when they play video games.

How to clean the dust mop? Wash the cloth every time used?!
