I’m so happy Handong pretty much dominates July 7th. So, so glad that Happyface finally discovered her lower register and have her utilize it. She uses it to great effect in their cover of There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back. It’s Handong’s era, I believe. And it’s about time.
They're finally recognizing her visual and letting her stand out even if her lines are still scarce. Her voice is different from the other girls' and I get it doesn't always fit the creepy , light or sharp vibe of dreamcatcher but I wish they had more smokey moments for her

Their vocals are very highlighted in each song too. Maybe the other musicians, especially the vocalists, can try to rate their vocals? I am sure the others really need to know the talent that these girls possess.

I always think it's weird as people call it rock or hardrock... This was called krock by some, is that correct?
what is an Orbit? and Dreamcatcher is currently the only Korean girl group who is rock metal sound/theme based. Rock in general is not a very popular genre in Korea, which makes DC very unique and enjoyable to me. Most other Kpop will not sound like them if that is what you are expecting. Kpop groups use more hiphop, trance, edm styles etc also i think ppl say K-rock or J-rock just to identify it is foreign, not in English. while J-Rock does have its distinctive qualities, it throws westerners off when they dont understand its not in English. Purely instrumentally speaking i would say they all fall under the umbrella of "Rock"
