I was just lying on the couch thinking that I should have a workout and practice with my crane. This video has inspired me to go for a jog with my crane 2 and thus do both at the same time.

this is where a glidecam is king. you can run and get super smooth footage. With the zhiyun you get a few vibrations. Having said that, I own both glidecam and the crane v2 and I only use the crane

I think a good exercise for this would be mounting a tray with a glass of water filled to the brim instead of camera. If all water is in the glass at the end of the run, one can graduate to using a camera:)

MY GIMBAL WON'T STOP VIBRATING!!! It's balanced! and I am doing everything you said. My blackmagic pocket cinema camera can't be synced to the camera so I also have to manually rack focus and it makes my camera shake even more when I do that.

REALLY good, especially with your flashlight technique! Almost as good as doing this on a bike, but a lot less trouble. Thanks!

Josh - could you please do a few videos on real estate tips, real estate video/walkthrough, real estate edits, gimbal smooth/ninja walk (especially for real estate), and a few videos with Z Axis or Ikan FHS (especially on real estate). Your videos are super helpful thanks for the content!

Hi, thanks for the video! I have the Sony a6600 and need the smallest portable gimbal that can handle this camera plus the 18-135 sony lens. Can you suggest a gimbal? Thanks for any help! Your videos are very helpful!

I'm guessing positioning the gimbal in flashlight mode enables the motor to eliminate some of the up and down motion w/c isn't the case when it's vertically positioned?

Hey Josh. Thanks so much for your awesome videos! Quick question: I have a bad foot (6 screws in it) so my running days are over. If I just walked fast and smooth using your tips, and then speeding up the footage in post, is the same effect achieved? Thanks Josh! Chris.

Sorry to hear about your foot man :( In some scenarios, you can use fast motion. (Usually when no other moving subjects are present). That way it doesn't look like those subjects are moving faster than they should.

Quick question on this, I bough a monopod and have it attached, would that help it make it more stable while carrying it?

Right ok so that would be the same for the glide cam right.

I think that's technically how you say it (or the closest I've heard yet) - its pretty funny listening to all the different reviewers try to get it right.

Hey Josh great video. I'm still trying to decide which gimbal to go with. But I'm leaning towards this one. First off wanted to say that I like you am a big strong guy so any gimbal I get won't be a problem to hold or use the techniques you do. I tend to shoot more athlete type people that run or are competing in a fitness event or competition. Sometimes I need to run a bit faster chasing these athletes and wondering if you think this gimbal would be good for that. Which mode (holding it) would be best that you'd suggest.
