What a spectacular circuit, and even in a sim the onboard was bloody terrifying. They say drivers used to get motion sickness from this one, and I see why.
Clermont-Ferrand had a reputation as being the hardest circuit of any to learn, even more so than the Nordschleife. I can see why, it’s constant corners that all sort of feel similar.
I have spent so many summers when i was child by my grandmother...she live 200m behind the circuit start...but unfortunately i never saw a formula racing on the circuit...even on last version of the track. So...thanks Mitsos...you give me something i loved to have many years ago..... btw....this circuit was the test track for Michelin....which is based in Clermont-Ferrand
I partially learned to drive on Charade. ( I lived Rue des Montagnards, if you lived 200m away from the track you know where it is ;) ) It was not really Michelin test track, they have Ladoux for that. ( the other Clermont Ferrand Circuit ) Consider the circuit in winter while learning to drive... with snow and ice from time to time. Lots of fun to be had, and you don't even need F1 speed. The castrated version was never meant to host F1, at best they expected to host F3 ( and I think they did a few time ) ( there's not enough room for F1 required runoff in the corners of the new circuit unless you want to open a new quarry in the Puy de Gravenoire and the surrounding hills to fill the valley the new track sits on and reshape the track with large enough runoffs. [ I won't even go into getting the old circuit to F1 standard... It just can't be done unless you dump billions in it reshaping the mountain, and destroying houses. ]
This skin is fantastic, and hands down the best and most accurate one I have used so far! Thank you for your hard work, and thank you so much for watching!
Awesome. I used to go there when I was young. So good memories. And where are no competitions, everyome can drive here. It is also in altitude. When I was passing my driving lisense, my teacher teached me how to drive on this race track when it was snowing because he was also a go kart driver.
Wow in holiday this summer near Clermont, I just went near the track, wondering how modern F1 would do today on this track Now i have my answer, what a track!
I'm just corious, do you use a pedal for branking or an button? From the HUD seems you just go from 0% brake to 100% in 0 seconds so I'll assume that you are using a button. Also, if you want, can you share with us your setup? Have a nice day!
U gotta grab a modern f1 car and go for a couple laps on the feldbergring mod by fat alfie, can be found on racedepartment. Probably one of the best modtracks out there
Why not use this circuit for the French GP? Honestly, it is so much better than Paul Ricard. In a period when F1 needs spectacle, I think it would be the best circuit to bring back the passion of certain fans
They'd have to use the newer shortened 4km layout, since the old 8km layout is both too long and way too dangerous. And even then the facilities have to be upgraded a lot to bring it up to F1 standards.
Et maintenant ont fait des jeux sur l’ancien circuit 😢 même pas capable d’organiser une fois par ans un event sur l’ancien voiture moto ancienne et moderne A deprimer….

Now imagine driving the Red Bull X2014 in this track!😵💫
ironic, put gasly in the circuit when marko lost the vision of left eye

Awesome to see the skin I made being driven by you! Charade is an amazing track, so it's great to see what an F1 lap looks like there.

I'm not sure. It feels more like a Rally Stage.
France had many great street tracks! This, Reims, Rouen, and current one like Pau and Le Mans, shame that the former ones doesn't exist anymore...

Grand Prix Winner now. Congrats Pierre
God that track is terrifying

Now i have my answer, what a track!
Could you bring a lap in Pergusa Circuit near Enna, in Sicily?
i didnt know i needed to this racetrack in my life
French mount panorama?
Not as many straights, but I see the comparison
No, it's a french Nurburgring
France’s most challenging track, yes.
A soo much dangerous but lovely track
Now try the new layout of the charade
This track is at 5mn from my home, I love this track
1.09 is absolutely terrifying somehow going almost flat out
Can we have the shortened version?
If it in driver view, wonder how many (including OP) will suffer from motion sickness?
Une folie ce circuit
On dirait une départementale
This track drives more like the Monte Carlo rally than an F! circuit.
De 0:02 à I:30 à droite, c'est la portion du nouveau circuit raccourci, le reste est supprimé .
1:09 😱😱😱
What a track!
crazy elevation

Will be coming soon!
Tell me the elevation changes please

I have a question, Is it the long circuit or the current circuit?
nvm it is the long circuit
Race in Aragon
Is this sound the original of the mod?
Yes it is

GASSSSLY
beautiful circuit...I've been saying for a long time that formula one died after Lauda's time...today it's just a circus..🤔
Too fast. Not interesting
