Just because they are hard doesn’t mean they are bad, sure fire aura is a bad choice, because of how hard it is for a harder 7, a bad level could be traction, the gameplay feels so weird, I used to hate sidestep, but it’s actually fun once you get the tricks, imo, one of the worst ones is probably generation retro.

Yeah. I think HeLL is a pretty good level but I personally didn’t have a good time with it, for whatever reason. That’s why I felt the need to put it there, and looking back it might not have been the right choice :/
I honestly think mind control shouldn’t be on here. You do make a decent point about the gameplay until people notice how well it fits the song and contributes to the theme of the level. + I think it’s way better than the rest of the time gauntlet. I do understand and respect your opinion however.

i also was confused with mind control, but once you memorize it, it gets easier, and not all parts are hard. for anubis, it can be annoying since it's 5 stars but people find out it's harder than that. frontline full had coins that were hard at first, but then I like the "This part is epic >:)"

I know this is 5 years late, but it does include all 2.1 gauntlet levels sooo. My list: 5. Polihedral - This level is not very interesting, doesn't work well with the song, has weird design and annoying gameplay. Pretty bad, but not terrible. 4. Skyward - This level is such a nothing burger, it's really boring and feels the same for the entire level, which is only 40 seconds long artificially increased to a minute by a really long endscreen. 3. Generation Retro - Not my least favorite, but not great. Unsightreadable gameplay and weird theming are the main issues that plague this level. 2. Payload - This level is so ugly I can't bear to look at it. The colors are so god awful and this level uses the freaking square orbs which you can't buffer, plus this level uses the predrop section of the song and ends at the drop, whyyyyyyyyyy! 1. Vibration - This level has really bad gameplay, I don't even think it falls under the tier of "generic level" because that's not where the main issue lies. This level is an 8 star with random hard demon difficulty spikes and this level is just so awkward and annoying to play. My least favorite gauntlet level.
I don’t think that Scarlet Surge should be on here. Well Scarlet Surge was a revolutionary level in GD. Scarlet Surge was unique for it’s time and shouldn’t be butchered because it’s outdated. If that looks bad to you, what about Kappaclysm?
Anubis is just so generic that there's nothing to say about it. I know it's somewhat inaccurate but I'm more interested in an entertaining video rather than a WatchMojo-type one. By the way, I don't think revolutionary levels should be praised just for that alone. I mean sure, it was revolutionary but I'd rather look back on it and what the level represents.
Personally, I really enjoy Mind Control because of the music, visuals, and unique gameplay. The lag part didn’t bother me too much (honestly my least favorite part was the little cube going around the circle because the timing wasn’t that great).
Scarlet Surge is just annoyingly long. That's the only gripe I have about it. Kappaclysm is just purely awful. And Fire Aura is just a torture machine.

My top 5 worst gauntlet levels 5: Mind Control. Very laggy and CONFUZING. 4: Anubis. Fast paced and does not look good. Poor decoration. 3: First Race. Easy level, but WAY TOO MANY gravity portals. 2: Geobound Why the HECK are Asymetrical duel parts in a gauntlet level? 1: SLAM. This level is PURE GARBAGE in every aspect. edit: here are the honorable mentions: -Magmatic Sanctuary. I love the way it looks, but I think its too hard to be a gauntlet level. Should be at least Insane 8 stars. -Desert Bounce. Dumb transitions. Good theme and music tho! -Kappaclym. WHY DOES IT EXIST.
Scarlet surge is so crappy. Sooooo buggy. I can't beat it cause of it's terrible design. You hit all the orbs your supposed to in one section but you still somehow jump to far and land in the spikes.
There s even a bug on the third level of the lava gauntlet if you hit the green jump ring late you hit the yellow pad on the side and after teleporting you die I used to rage when that happens

I agree with you for scarlet surge, I got 95% on it with an iPad and it’s so long and it hurts my fingers so bad and I always die at the last parts every time and it’s Buffy and you can’t see that much and it’s so hard and I sweat because I have to touch so fast and hard with my fingers that it hurts me but I beat the chaos gauntlet and opened the demon guardian finnaly! :)

First of all, Scarlet Surge isn't bad, it's just epileptic. Secondly, all of the levels mentioned except Anubis are really fun, even Generation Retro which is the easiest 6 star in all the gauntlets. It might be a bit controversial for me saying this, but I personally feel all these levels other than Anubis are really fun and well-made! Fire Aura is fun but it needs to be rerated to a 9 star.

I hate this level with it's lack of lava theme and gameplay that is worse than Crazy Ball.

wait what... i mean... whaaat... every level he mentioned in this video is like super awesome... wtf... i mean have you ever played kappaclysm in the chaos gauntlet. that's the worst. the beats doesn't even time with the taps, the level has some horrible design, and some spikes or stuff like that is even placed critical for really unpleasant gameplay. i don't even know why robtop chose that as a gauntlet level

5: Mind Control. Very laggy and CONFUZING.
4: Anubis. Fast paced and does not look good. Poor decoration.
3: First Race. Easy level, but WAY TOO MANY gravity portals.
2: Geobound Why the HECK are Asymetrical duel parts in a gauntlet level?
1: SLAM. This level is PURE GARBAGE in every aspect.

-Magmatic Sanctuary. I love the way it looks, but I think its too hard to be a gauntlet level. Should be at least Insane 8 stars.
-Desert Bounce. Dumb transitions. Good theme

Scarlet surge is so crappy. Sooooo buggy. I can't beat it cause of it's terrible design. You hit all the orbs your supposed to in one section but you still somehow jump to far and land in the spikes.

I agree with you for scarlet surge, I got 95% on it with an iPad and it’s so long and it hurts my fingers so bad and I always die at the last parts every time and it’s Buffy and you can’t see that much and it’s so hard and I sweat because I have to touch so fast and hard with my fingers that it hurts me but I beat the chaos gauntlet and opened the demon guardian finnaly! :)

First of all, Scarlet Surge isn't bad, it's just epileptic. Secondly, all of the levels mentioned except Anubis are really fun, even Generation Retro which is the easiest 6 star in all the gauntlets. It might be a bit controversial for me saying this, but I personally feel all these levels other than Anubis are really fun and well-made! Fire Aura is fun but it needs to be rerated to a 9 star.
don’t really agree ofc, but yeah pretty reasonable takes. scarlet surge has grown on me a lot too, my only issue with it now is just that it’s overly long
oh yeah and i agree fire aura should probably be rerated, i just think blaming the level itself is pretty unfair when it’s more of an external issue

don't get what's the problem with fire aura tbh I completed It easly when I was just a noob at the game I think It should belong to 7 stars category or at most an easy 8 stars like nothing more
