Trust the kids, they know what's up. They're putting out some of the most interesting metal/metal-adjacent stuff imo, really refreshing to hear. New album comin out in May and they've released four songs from it so far (summoning, granite, aqua regia, vore). I personally can't get enough of them. Hope you guys check out some more from them. Great reaction! Think it's awesome that you have your daughters reacting as well. What you need to know about Sleep Token is that they are an anonymous collective of musicians who feel that the music is more important than who they are as people performing it. Being that they are anonymous, they wear masks which is also why a majority of their videos are visualizers. Please give Sleep Token a chance. They are a phenomenal band that will throw you for a loop musically as you never know what direction they will take you.
You should also know they have a wide variety of sounds. The ambiance alone is a ride put those amazing vocals from Vessel (by the way does ALL the instruments except drums and writes all the lyrics… you have a religious experience. This song is more of a “this what we can do” kinda song.
I think this song is one of heaviest song of them and is a little bit experimental too. My recomendations if you want something heavy or “similar” to this one will be: Chokehold or Vore And if you want to hear their soft/normal or natural sound, i recommend: Granite, Aqua Regia, The love you want or Mine. Never heard of them. They sounded alright. Best part for me was the guitar interlude at 3:41min. I wish that part was longer. My Rating 7/10.

I think the video for "Alkaline" would be more your speed. 🤘 "Vore" is quite heavy even for Sleep Token. You'd like that one more I think. Cheers!
