Proud Nerd you rock! Best reaction! I'm going to subscribe...and remember, all you guys and gals that think storm troopers can't shoot straight. Lord Vader choose those troopers from his personal legion. Vader told them that the intruders must be allowed to escape, but not to appear to be doing so. @@ndjoker34 well the first battle in Empire the rebellion was getting their ass kicked and had to retreat. Remember the commander of the rebels outside told his troops to hold the line. Next thing we hear is "Storm troopers have entered the base!" So, that means all the men outside were killed. Plus, Vader was with them and Vader always wants the commanding officers alive for interrogation...well, most of the time. Return of the Jedi...I blame poor writing. Because, they would have cut down ALL THE EWOKS.
@@ndjoker34 remember when the Emperor told Luke that an entire legion of his best troopers awaits his friends. They also would have been VERY high ranking officers and troops. It would have been a slaughter!!!

I feel you. Some fans can be very polarizing with their hatred of the new movies or even the prequels. Some fans will only recognize the original trilogy. Now, everyone is welcome to their thoughts and opinion. The Skywalker trilogy under Kathleen Kennedy leaves a sour taste, I still felt they were entertaining and at least we got some Star Wars content (Though I do not like to think of the Skywalker Trilogy as cannon). The prequels themselves I used to feel the same way about, entertaining but with flaws. However I have grown to love the prequels MUCH more. Especially after The Clone Wars and Rebels animated, those helped me appreciate the prequels much more with the expanded story. Good News is Kathleen Kennedy is done as head of Lucasfilm after this year. She already no longer has creative control except for the Leslye Headland's series. That series also has had much of it's plans cut/cancelled by Chapek the head of Disney. It seems that Leslye had wanted to retcon much of Star Wars O.T., Clone Wars and universe overall, which would have interfered with the story Dave Filoni is telling. So they put a stop to that. In 2023 there will also be directors cut versions of The Rise of Skywalker and The Last Jedi that will restore much of what Kathleen Kennedy forced to be cut and re-shot. Significantly ret-conning the ending and story. Rumor has it that Jon Favreau may take over as head of lucasfilm with Dave Filoni having much of the creative control. They want to create a Star Wars Universe as successful as The MCU. We have already seen some of this with The Mandalorian. So as much as fans are upset with how Disney has handled the Star Wars Franchise. Let's keep in mind that much of the failure lands on Kathleen Kennedy. Disney did not know what to do with the franchise when they bought it. It seems that they are attempting to right the ship and are listening to fans more. Removing Kathleen Kennedy is a huge step in the right direction. I hope the fans will give Disney a second chance. As great as fan fiction like this is, Disney has the budget to create something truly amazing. Let us give them the chance to earn the fans support again and move forward. Chapek, Favreau, Filoni and Lucas seem to truly care about the future of the franchise and I believe deserve another chance to rectify the damage done by Kathleen Kennedy.
I agree and disagree, I think Kathleen Kennedy has done the best she can with the franchise and I know she had creative control with the mandalorian, so that to me shows she does know how to do star wars right, and also with force awakens and Last Jedi, I love those movies and think they turned out perfect, in my opinion. I think it was a mistake that she cut so much of the dark Rey scenes out of rise of Skywalker, that was her decision not JJs and although I have Respect for Kathleen and I personally think she's doing the best she can, I think cutting out those dark Rey scenes from Rise of Skywalker was a huge mistake so it's really a breath of fresh air knowing we will be getting a directors cut in 2023. Even Daisy Ridley was upset that Kathleen cut the dark Rey stuff because they filmed a lot of it. So it's gonna be nice to see those scenes and see how much hard work was put into them. As for Jon farvreau taking over as head of lucasfilm, I agree that's a great choice, again I have nothing against Kathleen and I still think she did the best she could but she didn't make the best decisions with rise of Skywalker. Now for me personally, Force awakens and Last Jedi are perfect just the way they are. But rise of Skywalker had much more potential and Kathleen didn't allow that movies full potential to shine through. Although I do like rise of Skywalker as is I do agree with fellow fans when they say it could have been better. I agree with that to an extent, I think the movies full potential wasn't able to shine through because of the decisions Kathleen made. But that's just my opinion, I'm just a fan and these are just movies, we really shouldn't be getting so upset over them lol.
@@ndjoker34 While she may have had creative control per se. The Mandalorian was more Jon Favreau's and Dave Filoni's work and Kathleen Kennedy pretty much stayed out of their way. So the only credit she gets for that is staying out of it. Everything she has stuck her nose into has been a disaster with the fans. Though they still made money. That is more likely just cause of the Star Wars name, as most people agree that the films themselves as far as story is concerned were divisive with fans. While I do not hate on the films and admit they were entertaining. Reading about how heavy handed Kathleen Kennedy was with the cuts and re-shoots was disturbing and does mean that the blame for that divisiveness lands squarely on her shoulders. Perhaps if she did not exert her creative control on the films and let the writers and directors make their own visions, like how Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni got to with The Mandalorian then the fans may have found it more appealing. Also reading about how Kathleen and Leslye planned on ret-conning most of the Star Wars Universe, including the Original Trilogy in the new series they are working on was disheartening. Can you imagine basically re-writing the story we grew up on for the last 43 years of the original trilogy? It is one thing for Lucas to update the effects and add some scenes, it is another for them to completely try and re-write the universe we grew up with. Can you imagine a change like making Luke and Leia no longer siblings? I am not suggesting that is one of the things they would change. I am just using that example to show that while Kathleen Kennedy may be a good producer and thus good with the business side of things. She has continually been criticized and rightly so, for the direction of the story she has taken it in. I do not think Kathleen Kennedy understood Star Wars at all. So while you can argue she did the best she could, it does not diminish that she was causing great damage to the Franchise. Maybe if she had not exerted her power of created control, the franchise would have been better off. I am not hating on her and I wish her success in the future. I hope she finds other ways to try and push her ideology and agenda. But there is no doubt that what she has done so far, despite as you said "doing the best she could", has been harmful to Star Wars. Especially when you hear some of the statements coming from some of the actors, directos and George Lucas himself. Even with those like me who could find entertainment and enjoyment in the Disney Star Wars movies. I have a hard time thinking of it as cannon. So much of it did not make sense and from behind the scenes comments of people who worked with Kathleen, she seems to want to try and erase everything that came before.
