My favorite part about this fight is it basically confirmed Sukuna is not beating Gojo in Yuji’s body&he needed the best support build in the series to get close to a W.
This might not be true, Yuji’s body is vastly superior to Megumi’s. He effectively has a HR but just on a lower tier than Toji because he’s not fully tapped into its potential. Sukuna amping Yugi’s power, durability, and speed with his Curse energy would have made him a huge threat while using Domain Amplification. The problem Sukuna had with Yujis’ body was he rarely had full control.

@@raphaelm7221 Megumi’s body wasn’t a down-grade by any means, it was an exchange that had more benefits than loses. Yuji’s body is a prison to him that was willing to die to merc Sukuna, he had no choice but to bail. Megumi or Yuta were probably the only worthy bodies he would inhabit and he never saw Yuta in action before, meanwhile Megumi had a direct counter to Gojo built in. He still realized Yuji as a fall back plan if they somehow do reclaim Megumi but he never expected that it would have actually been necessary, but then Gojo fired Red straight up and Sukuna saw his life flash before his eyes lol.

This fight literally came down to who had better hand to hand combat. Since Gojo could land hits he could land black flashes. Which in turn helped him out.
I don't think you need hand-to-hand for black flashes necessarily in cases like nobara. But being a better fighter with throwing hands definitely gave Gojo an easier win. 😂
Sukuna was holding back, but that doesn't mean he didn't struggle. (I think) he was trying to master 10 Shadows / dissect Infinity as soon as possible, not just kill Gojo, and pushing himself to the limit like that allowed him to improve. I think he risked loss several times to achieve this, so he was panicked for real. He could have made things easier by using the rest of his arsenal, but he wanted to grow.
once the domain clashes ended it was over and i kinda love that gojo beat his ass with his overall skill as a jujutsu sorcerer, he just straight up outclassed him

This video was amazing! Well done! Gojo beat the living hell out of Sukuna but I am sure Gege is going to turn this ion it's head with some trickster cheat move shit shortly. The whole "gift" he supposedly has and the "open" bullshit is just dumb. He lost using 10 shadows. No matter what happens from here on out, Gojo is the GOAT. Period.
When Gojo figures out open domains he clears the verse low-no diff. The sure-hit and instant activation of an unbeatable attack combined with an unbreakable barrier (nothing to break) makes countering his domain kind of impossible. Even if he got cancelled out with Sukuna's Malevolent Shrine or maybe Kenjaku's Womb Profusion, they have to then deal with his hand-to-hand and can't rely on breaking the domain.
Thats a fun "what if" scenario to think about but there is no way Gojo walks out alive or with his full powers. Due to some bullshit ritual involving Yaorozu's gift he will be taken out of the story so the next generation has to step up
Gojo probably wouldn’t get a barrier-less domain because he actively cares about human life and wouldn’t want his domain expansion to affect unintended targets, unlike Sukuna who doesn’t care about bystanders.
@@kamemelia it would still have a range like Sukunas shrine, its not a literal black hole but an info dump. He could limit the range of it much like sukunas just no barrier. And like in shibuya he could limit the duration to 0.02 seconds so it doesnt permanently affect non sorcerers
The next chapter we will see if the JJK creator do really want to go against shounen clices, because most of mangas would make that so Sukuna pull up something like "now i gonna use my full power" and wins and possibly kills Gojo, the best plot twist it right now it would be just giving Gojo the win, you don't need to kill Sukuna because there is a lot that we want to see about him but Sukuna losing and fleeing would definitly go against the cliche Strong Mentor loses to big bad guy.
Gojo is just too broken as he is. So him dying or being unable to fight almost has to happen. You would have to come up with some bs for Gojo to lose to Kenny, that’s worse to me. I mean it is possible he just runs off ,but how could he really get far and be dumb if Gojo just lets him go.

Sukuna is wrong. He may believe he can compensate, but fact of the matter is if he was split between each finger, and the head (Prob accidentally created cursed object) Then he'd be 20/21 fingers. Even if he "Compensated" He'd be below 100% power. My evidence being that if he ate the last finger, which holds part of his cursed energy and soul. He'd be stronger than 100% of his own power, which is impossible. Assuming eating the head gave him "100%" which just dosent make sense. The only logical conclusion being he's in-character wrong, the head was created prob accidentally. And he's not at full power. That's my theory. I think it has good logical sense. Does anyone else understand this? I feel like nobody mentions it. Random offshoot prediction for next chapter: 1 the gift might be his last finger somehow. 2: he'll begin to use his actual cursed technique. 3: Black box will be used. 4: He enters his original form. 5: I Could see him saying. Yea possible that his goal was to evolve the the 10 shadows technique past shadows all together. Wouldn’t be crazy with all or most being destroyed he gets there abilities passively.

First note: I don't care who wins, I just want a well made and written fight and chapters. I also do not root for either character. Now, with that being said, these Gojo fanboys seem to be missing the point of this fight entirely. This fight was never about who was stronger or better. This fight was always about how can Sukuna overcome Gojo's abilities. Remember, Gojo was born with every advantage possibly given to someone between his bloodline, cursed technique and Six Eyes. He's invulnerable to 99.9% of all attacks, is able to see through all cursed energy and every cursed technique, is given the strongest attacks imaginable and has as close to perfect control as possible, all due to his bloodline and Six eyes. The fact he hasn't won already is a testament to Sukuna's abilities. What I'm hoping for from this point on wards, is Sukuna finally explaining his cursed technique in full and actually using it. If he simply loses and/or dies without ever using it, I'll see that as a massive wasted opportunity. Again, I don't care if Sukuna loses or wins. I just want the highest quality fight possible, which so far the artist has delivered in my opinion. I just feel it is far too soon to end the fight now, without Sukuna ever using his own cursed technique. I'm hoping to see the beginning of him using his technique in the upcoming chapter.
Bro nobody got their CT through talent or hard work. In jjk, most inherits CT by birth(some exceptional like yuji idk). You act as if Sukuna didn't have broken slashes and a barrierless domain that auto wins against barrier domain, which effectively negs heinan era sorcerers. it's unfortunate he had to fight against gojo. Sukuna's CT is easily top 3 in the verse .So lets not ignore the fact that his CT carried him through heinan era .Also Sukuna had malevolent shrine that was auto bypass for infinity and gojo overcame it with pure intelligence. Sukuna would have been lost if not for Mahoraga during 5th clash . Also Second round, he had mahoraga, which also bypasses infinity, but he lost yet again. It's not about Gojo's natural abilities, but about how he overcame the challenges that Sukuna threw at him. Gojo had a significant disadvantage as well. He must incapacitate Megumi while not erasing his body. He could avoid domain clash whenever he want but he went extreme to damage his own brain to claim a single domain win. Gojo managed to win despite these disadvantages. If megumi was infact saved by the cast somehow then it is confirmed that gojo literally fought sukuna at disadvantage . Imagine a situation where someone has taken your loved one hostage. You can't just act like you don't care about them in a fight. Also let's not forget gojo honed his skills after Hidden inventory arc . If he was just goofing off after he won against toji , he would have lost here .Because most of the abilities he used against sukuna was already foreshadowed to be honed by gojo during inventory

this isn't as good of a take as you think it is six eyes users aren't as crazy as you think they are from what we've seen so far most six eyes users were like gojo before the toji fight gojo surpassed all previous six eyes users by being the first to understand "the core of cursed energy" after having his eureka moment during the toji fight becoming "the honored one" due to his own skill and natural talent. and sukuna isn't surviving against gojo using his own strength he's using the ten shadows technique which belongs to megumi and sukuna even stated that megumi has the potential to surpass him.

However, that doesn't change the fact that the Six Eyes is what sets Gojo apart and lets him use Hallowed Purple. Even with that event and his natural talent and understanding, the additional insight granted by the Six Eyes is what allows that technique specifically. Sukuna using Megumi's CT is also a non-argument since that's the entire point leading up to the fight. Sukuna needed to find a method to deal with Infinity, otherwise this fight can't happen. Infinity is why no fight with Gojo can happen. Even entrapping Gojo wasn't a fight so much as it was trying to lure Gojo into a trap while hiding behind the lives of humans. It's a limitation created by the writing and narrative of the story. Gojo is literally untouchable without something very specific to offset his most basic ability. Even the method Sukuna was using to negate Infinity also made Sukuna unable to use any other ability, where Gojo could still use all of his. Without Mahoraga, there isn't a fight and no point to the manga. I'm not really seeing a counter argument to my original point that the fight is centered on how Sukuna needs to overcome Gojo. Only that people are giving Gojo more credit than I am. Which, the last person to have both Limitless and Six Eyes was only able to be dealt with by Mahoraga specifically. We know nothing about the ages or circumstances beyond that it was a duel. (From what I recall, anyway.) It has been clearly pointed out that Sukuna's CT is inferior to Gojo's and Megumi's, meaning that he has to find a way to overcome that handicap. Which he has done quite well considering. It just seems to not be enough so far. I just want to see the true nature of his CT before it's over.

I'm reading this as: Sukuna DOES have an all or nothing Killer move, but it has to have a condition that would put him at a severe disadvantage even if he successfully kill Gojo because he knows there's people like Yuta waiting in the wings to jump him the SECOND Gojo is out of commission and he wont rely on his simp or Kenjaku to save him. BUUUUUT Gojo has it in reverse, he can go all out and not risk his allies (Allies waiting in the wings for him to fall and rush in to deal with a very likely near dead drained and crippled Sukuna) and if Sukuna's buddies roll up to help, it only helps Gojo out MORE cause the more people he take out the better for the future generation of JJ Sorcs he wants to raise up. In every sense of the word, Gojo is doing what EVERY villain in every series would LOVE to be able to do. EDIT: Plus Gojo is currently amped from 3-4 Black Flashes. Not coping, BUT he's 100, no, 120% on borrowed time. We've seen that amp wears off, and while it doesn't have a huge negative when it does, Gojo is still bottoming out. I'm excited to see what bull shit gets pulled out cause Gege is pretty good at explaining the rules of this universe and how they get broken.

@@buttermanaws4693I think the idea of a "true" awakening is somewhat dictated by the sorcerers moral path. Sukuna did go through his own awakening. That's why he was such a strong sorcerer and it's also why he looked more like a cursed spirit. He just chose a different path. It's kinda like the Force in Star Wars imo. Choosing the dark side often deformed the Jedi. I think he definitely had his own awakening though.

I think the funniest part about this line is the fact that Gojo actually got hit with Dismantle in the last panel of the previous chapter, and none of the content creators noticed the shift while they were reporting on it. His facial expression changed, there was debris moving upward on the left side, and he was suddenly silenced during his monologue. They jumped to conclusions the entire time, even with the narrative statement. Of course it would say that, that's where they were fighting. None of them noticed that Mahoraga was missing *before* Hollow Purple detonated; only the wheel was present. I was like, "Where did Mahoraga go suddenly?" They didn't notice the clever word play or the mistranslation either. Gojo hadn't selected a new target for Blue, and Mahoraga didn't get to adapt to it because it was explicitly instructed to adapt to Infinity, so the adaptation backfired when Sukuna accidentally sent it to Blue. He planned to send it to Red when he was in the building. Sukuna didn't know if Gojo shot Blue or Red at Mahoraga indoors, he only knew that blue hit Agito. Gojo noted that Red did next to nothing to Mahoraga and didn't say anything about it, which is why he shot it up instead. He knew that Mahoraga had adapted to it by then since Red had damaged it. He knew that he had never hit Mahoraga with Blue, only with Lapse, so he intervened, mistakenly fixing Sukuna's mistake. This was the happiest accident ever. Why was that a happy accident? Because Gojo hadn't selected a new target and Lapse does damage with Infinity, not with Blue, Mahoraga couldn't have adapted to Blue. Blue couldn't damage Mahoraga, so Mahoraga couldn't trigger an adaptation since the technique was inert at the time. Gojo should have ignored it. Mahoraga couldn't activate Blue or change it's own polarity to move to it faster. So, when Gojo attacked Mahoraga, he triggered Mahoraga's Infinity adaptation, which is selected according to the situation. The instructions were to adapt, so Mahoraga turned Infinity off, erased Gojo's Infinity, and took the damage, making it adapt to Infinity again. That made it evolve by the time Hollow Purple detonated. My theory is: since Mahoraga failed to adapt to Blue in time, it turned Infinity back on, but it was a new Infinity. Not only did this Infinity stop physical contact with people and weapons, it stopped light too, so we couldn't see Mahoraga anymore. Hollow Purple washed the area in light before the explosion, and Mahoraga couldn't be seen anymore, only the wheel. Since the light came from an attack, the shikigami disappeared from view and was forced to the ground unharmed. Gojo proved to not understand the rules, stating multiple times that he intended to end it with one shot. That's not possible, and that was proven in Shibuya by Sukuna. No matter how powerful, it takes two different fatal techniques that have never damaged it before to end Mahoraga. Gojo probably landed right in front of it, got hit by its Dismantle in the last panel, and then we started chapter 236 with him in the death dimension. This line is the funniest irony 😂 The one who was bragging was the one who should've been silent the entire time. He almost died five times in that fight, and Sukuna didn't almost die a single time. He was rendered unconscious one time. I'd rather be knocked out once than almost killed at all in any fight. If a guy slits my throat, and gets back up after I choke him out for it, I'm *not* in the lead lmao He's *absolutely* the one winning the fight. That's why I love that quote. The sarcastic tone is biting. Gege aimed that at fans and executives, and just sent thousands to therapy 😂

Unless I’m missing something Sukuna almost died 4 times and 2 of those were bailouts by mahoraga and Gojo almost died 3 times. That fight was close and was hard even for the king of curses, his hardest fight so far. Sukuna or Gojo could have died chapters ago from those examples if Gege wanted to write it like that. Gojo died, he lost simple and Sukuna won but don’t make it seem like it was because of a invisible mahoraga and downplaying a character to support your statement when the fight shows both characters could’ve lost multiple times. Since when could Mahorage transfer its adaptations? When was that ever a thing it could do? That information exists nowhere. It makes far more sense that Mahoraga made a model for itself, especially since Gojo *did not* meet the conditions to get rid of it. Mahorage *can't* be cleared with a single attack no matter how powerful that attack is. That's a concrete fact spelled out in Shibuya when Sukuna fought it. Read the flow of cursed energy in the environment [this allows them to "see" while their blindfolded and identify cursed techniques] 2. See in detail at extreme range 3. Differentiate between cursed energy types [this also allows the user to identify specific sorcerers by their cursed energy] 4. Offer nearly 0 waste usage of cursed energy 5. Function without cursed energy 6. Master Limitless Seeing souls and X-ray vision is something you just invented on spot in bad faith. Mahoraga isn't composed of cursed energy, it's a shadow puppet because it's a Ten Shadows shikigami. That's why he couldn't see it through obstacles. Mahoraga also wields the Sword of Extermination, which uses positive energy instead of cursed energy, so Gojo couldn't see the flow of that either. That's why he lost arm to that Cleave before. He didn't know it was coming because there was no cursed energy flow for him to read; it was a cursed tool that had positive energy flowing instead. Had you familiarized yourself first, you wouldn't have even attempted that ridiculous argument. I don't even need to go over the rest at this point. If you can't get through the basics, it's not worth discussing anything more advanced. It's not like the information can't be found in seconds. We have the technology.

Eh, this probably wasn’t the best decision when it comes to writing. The story has far less stakes when the heroes are this much stronger than the main villains. Without stakes, why should we care if the heroes get into a fight? We know that Gojo will bail them out regardless. It’s why Gege removed him from the equation so early. It was an extremely good decision on his part, specifically to avoid this exact same situation. This is the first time I’ve seen something like this, and it just feels boring I guess? I think it would’ve been a good character beat for Gojo to feel touchable again for once, but, nevertheless, we got a damn good fight in its place.

It's only Gojo's quick thinking and ingenuity that bailed him out. The same way Gojo almost killed Sukuna and Sukuna's quick thinking and ingenuity bailed him out. Second thing, regardless of whatever "historic power" you're on about, he actually has to HIT Gojo with it. Which means getting past Infinity. Domain expansion couldn't finish the job and domain amplification wasn't getting him anywhere. And by the time he WAS in a position to finish Gojo off with domain expansion, his own domain expansion got taken off the table due to Gojo's. So if Sukuna has to rely on Mahoraga, it simply means he had nothing in his arsenal to bypass Infinity. And since he can't use two cursed techniques at the same time, what else could he do but use 10 shadows? Thirdly, keep in mind, Sukuna has always look cool throughout the series because everyone he fought so far is cannon fodder by his standards. This is first time we've seen Sukuna in a battle of equals, not just in power but also skill and wits. Both men played their cards, both men nearly killed each other multiple time, but in the end, Gojo won out due to skilled usage of Blue and Red and using Sukuna's own tricks against him.
I mean at the time, that is the only real interpretation. What the characters were referring to was Sukuna holding back some technique (probably something to do with the flame arrow). Only with foresight can you really tell that Sukuna was holding back in order to let mahoraga adapt and gain the ability to use the world cutting slash
During this fight, my mind went back to the story Gojo told Megumi about the battle between the leader of the Gojo clan and the leader of the Zenin clan. I figured that when Gojo and Sukuna started their battle, this was supposed to relate back to the story and make us think that history will repeat itself. But it looks like this isn't the case anymore.

We all know Sukuna is somehow making it out of this alive because of all the stuff he still has to show us. For example Yorozu's gift and the open technique but even has someone who thought Sukuna I can admit he lost pretty badly even if it seemed liked and even matchup during the first round. Sukuna still pushed Gojo farther than anyone else could have and it's likely that he would have stood a better chance if Gojo hadn't been so cracked especially after his prison realm experience which allowed him to condense his domain expansion to absurd degrees. I don't know why Kenjaku allowed Angel to reincarnate he should have just killed Hana or not allow the Angel to participate in the cullling games. Unless he planned to use Angel to screw over Sukuna he essentially botched his own plan.
None of that stuff has to be shown you just want to see it. Yuki's domain was never shown to us but she died, same w/ Hanami's domain, We also never saw Yuji get Sukuna's cursed techniques like Gojo said he would. Set ups don't have to pay off in this story.

I love how in episode 1 or 2 when Asked about full power Sukuna Gojo says "don't worry I'm the strongest" I've always been interested in this fight more so then anything else as it's been a couple years since I watched the first season. My favorite part about this fight is it basically confirmed Sukuna is not beating Gojo in Yuji’s body&he needed the best support build in the series to get close to a W.
This might not be true, Yuji’s body is vastly superior to Megumi’s. He effectively has a HR but just on a lower tier than Toji because he’s not fully tapped into its potential. Sukuna amping Yugi’s power, durability, and speed with his Curse energy would have made him a huge threat while using Domain Amplification. The problem Sukuna had with Yujis’ body was he rarely had full control.

Yuji’s body is a prison to him that was willing to die to merc Sukuna, he had no choice but to bail. Megumi or Yuta were probably the only worthy bodies he would inhabit and he never saw Yuta in action before, meanwhile Megumi had a direct counter to Gojo built in. He still realized Yuji as a fall back plan if they somehow do reclaim Megumi but he never expected that it would have actually been necessary, but then Gojo fired Red straight up and Sukuna saw his life flash before his eyes lol.

This video was amazing! Well done! Gojo beat the living hell out of Sukuna but I am sure Gege is going to turn this ion it's head with some trickster cheat move shit shortly. The whole "gift" he supposedly has and the "open" bullshit is just dumb. He lost using 10 shadows. No matter what happens from here on out, Gojo is the GOAT. Period.
When Gojo figures out open domains he clears the verse low-no diff. The sure-hit and instant activation of an unbeatable attack combined with an unbreakable barrier (nothing to break) makes countering his domain kind of impossible. Even if he got cancelled out with Sukuna's Malevolent Shrine or maybe Kenjaku's Womb Profusion, they have to then deal with his hand-to-hand and can't rely on breaking the domain.
Thats a fun "what if" scenario to think about but there is no way Gojo walks out alive or with his full powers.
Due to some bullshit ritual involving Yaorozu's gift he will be taken out of the story so the next generation has to step up

He may believe he can compensate, but fact of the matter is if he was split between each finger, and the head (Prob accidentally created cursed object)
Then he'd be 20/21 fingers. Even if he "Compensated" He'd be below 100% power. My evidence being that if he ate the last finger, which holds part of his cursed energy and soul. He'd be stronger than 100% of his own power, which is impossible. Assuming eating the head gave him "100%" which just dosent make sense. The only logical conclusion being he's in-character wrong, the head was created prob accidentally.
And he's not at full power.

First note: I don't care who wins, I just want a well made and written fight and chapters. I also do not root for either character.
Now, with that being said, these Gojo fanboys seem to be missing the point of this fight entirely. This fight was never about who was stronger or better. This fight was always about how can Sukuna overcome Gojo's abilities. Remember, Gojo was born with every advantage possibly given to someone between his bloodline, cursed technique and Six Eyes. He's invulnerable to 99.9% of all attacks, is able to see through all cursed energy and every cursed technique, is given the strongest attacks imaginable and has as close to perfect control as possible, all due to his bloodline and Six eyes. The fact he hasn't won already is a testament to Sukuna's abilities.
What I'm hoping for from this point on wards, is Sukuna finally explaining his cursed technique in full and actually using it. I just want the highest quality fight possible, which so far the artist has delivered in my opinion. I just feel it is far too soon to end the fight now, without Sukuna ever using his own cursed technique. I'm hoping to see the beginning of him using his technique in the upcoming chapter.

Bro nobody got their CT through talent or hard work. In jjk, most inherits CT by birth(some exceptional like yuji idk). You act as if Sukuna didn't have broken slashes and a barrierless domain that auto wins against barrier domain, which effectively negs heinan era sorcerers. it's unfortunate he had to fight against gojo. Sukuna's CT is easily top 3 in the verse .So lets not ignore the fact that his CT carried him through heinan era .Also Sukuna had malevolent shrine that was auto bypass for infinity and gojo overcame it with pure intelligence. Sukuna would have been lost if not for Mahoraga during 5th clash . Also Second round, he had mahoraga, which also bypasses infinity, but he lost yet again. It's not about Gojo's natural abilities, but about how he overcame the challenges that Sukuna threw at him. Gojo had a significant disadvantage as well. He must incapacitate Megumi while not erasing his body. He could avoid domain clash whenever he want but he went extreme to damage his own brain to claim a single domain win. Gojo managed to win despite these disadvantages. If megumi was infact saved by the cast somehow then it is confirmed that gojo literally fought sukuna at disadvantage . Imagine a situation where someone has taken your loved one hostage. You can't just act like you don't care about them in a fight. Also let's not forget gojo honed his skills after Hidden inventory arc . If he was just goofing off after he won against toji , he would have lost here .Because most of the abilities he used against sukuna was already foreshadowed to be honed by gojo during inventory

The fact here is Gojo came in superior to Sukuna in every way imaginable. He also is the only one of the two that can fight freely, despite Megumi's body being possessed. I'll restate my point since you've missed it entirely. This fight is NOT about who is the strongest. It's about how Sukuna can overcome Gojo's Infinity being paired with the Six Eyes. Sukuna already showed how talented he was with his instant mastery over Megumi's CT. He was never supposed to be as strong or stronger than Gojo.
The fight so far has been quite enjoyable in my opinion and I hope to see Sukuna's CT in full before the conclusion. Just stop riding Gojo's nuts with a false narrative. He's already stronger, that should be enough.
this isn't as good of a take as you think it is six eyes users aren't as crazy as you think they are from what we've seen so far most six eyes users were like gojo before the toji fight gojo surpassed all previous six eyes users by being the first to understand "the core of cursed energy" after having his eureka moment during the toji fight becoming "the honored one" due to his own skill and natural talent.

However, that doesn't change the fact that the Six Eyes is what sets Gojo apart and lets him use Hallowed Purple. Even with that event and his natural talent and understanding, the additional insight granted by the Six Eyes is what allows that technique specifically.
Sukuna using Megumi's CT is also a non-argument since that's the entire point leading up to the fight. Sukuna needed to find a method to deal with Infinity, otherwise this fight can't happen. Infinity is why no fight with Gojo can happen. Even entrapping Gojo wasn't a fight so much as it was trying to lure Gojo into a trap while hiding behind the lives of humans. It's a limitation created by the writing and narrative of the story. Gojo is literally untouchable without something very specific to offset his most basic ability. Even the method Sukuna was using to negate Infinity also made Sukuna unable to use any other ability, where Gojo could still use all of his. Without Mahoraga, there isn't a fight and no point to the manga.
I'm not really seeing a counter argument to my original point that the fight is centered on how Sukuna needs to overcome Gojo. Only that people are giving Gojo more credit than I am. Which, the last person to have both Limitless and Six Eyes was only able to be dealt with by Mahoraga specifically. We know nothing about the ages or circumstances beyond that it was a duel. (From what I recall, anyway.)
It has been clearly pointed out that Sukuna's CT is inferior to Gojo's and Megumi's, meaning that he has to find a way to overcome that handicap. Which he has done quite well considering. It just seems to not be enough so far. I just want to see the true nature of his CT before it's over.

Sukuna DOES have an all or nothing Killer move, but it has to have a condition that would put him at a severe disadvantage even if he successfully kill Gojo because he knows there's people like Yuta waiting in the wings to jump him the SECOND Gojo is out of commission and he wont rely on his simp or Kenjaku to save him.

Gojo has it in reverse, he can go all out and not risk his allies (Allies waiting in the wings for him to fall and rush in to deal with a very likely near dead drained and crippled Sukuna) and if Sukuna's buddies roll up to help, it only helps Gojo out MORE cause the more people he take out the better for the future generation of JJ Sorcs he wants to raise up. In every sense of the word, Gojo is doing what EVERY villain in every series would LOVE to be able to do.
EDIT: Plus Gojo is currently amped from 3-4 Black Flashes. Not coping, BUT he's 100, no, 120% on borrowed time. We've seen that amp wears off, and while it doesn't have a huge negative when it does, Gojo is still bottoming out. I'm excited to see what bull shit gets pulled out cause Gege is pretty good at explaining the rules of this universe and how they get broken.

That's why he was such a strong sorcerer and it's also why he looked more like a cursed spirit. He just chose a different path. It's kinda like the Force in Star Wars imo. I think the funniest part about this line is the fact that Gojo actually got hit with Dismantle in the last panel of the previous chapter, and none of the content creators noticed the shift while they were reporting on it. His facial expression changed, there was debris moving upward on the left side, and he was suddenly silenced during his monologue. They jumped to conclusions the entire time, even with the narrative statement. Of course it would say that, that's where they were fighting. None of them noticed that Mahoraga was missing *before* Hollow Purple detonated; only the wheel was present. I was like, "Where did Mahoraga go suddenly?" They didn't notice the clever word play or the mistranslation either.
Gojo hadn't selected a new target for Blue, and Mahoraga didn't get to adapt to it because it was explicitly instructed to adapt to Infinity, so the adaptation backfired when Sukuna accidentally sent it to Blue. He planned to send it to Red when he was in the building. Sukuna didn't know if Gojo shot Blue or Red at Mahoraga indoors, he only knew that blue hit Agito. Gojo noted that Red did next to nothing to Mahoraga and didn't say anything about it, which is why he shot it up instead. He knew that Mahoraga had adapted to it by then since Red had damaged it. He knew that he had never hit Mahoraga with Blue, only with Lapse, so he intervened, mistakenly fixing Sukuna's mistake. This was the happiest accident ever.
Why was that a happy accident? Because Gojo hadn't selected a new target and Lapse does damage with Infinity, not with Blue, Mahoraga couldn't have adapted to Blue. Blue couldn't damage Mahoraga, so Mahoraga couldn't trigger an adaptation since the technique was inert at the time. Gojo should have ignored it. Mahoraga couldn't activate Blue or change it's own polarity to move to it faster. So, when Gojo attacked Mahoraga, he triggered Mahoraga's Infinity adaptation, which is selected according to the situation. The instructions were to adapt, so Mahoraga turned Infinity off, erased Gojo's Infinity, and took the damage, making it adapt to Infinity again. That made it evolve by the time Hollow Purple detonated.
My theory is: since Mahoraga failed to adapt to Blue in time, it turned Infinity back on, but it was a new Infinity. Not only did this Infinity stop physical contact with people and weapons, it stopped light too, so we couldn't see Mahoraga anymore. Hollow Purple washed the area in light before the explosion, and Mahoraga couldn't be seen anymore, only the wheel. Since the light came from an attack, the shikigami disappeared from view and was forced to the ground unharmed. Gojo proved to not understand the rules, stating multiple times that he intended to end it with one shot. That's not possible, and that was proven in Shibuya by Sukuna. No matter how powerful, it takes two different fatal techniques that have never damaged it before to end Mahoraga. Gojo probably landed right in front of it, got hit by its Dismantle in the last panel, and then we started chapter 236 with him in the death dimension.

Sukuna being caught in Unlimited void where he almost died but was saved by Mahoraga, Sukuna using dismantle on Gojo the first chapter of the fight gojo almost died if he didn’t dodge. Unless I’m missing something Sukuna almost died 4 times and 2 of those were bailouts by mahoraga and Gojo almost died 3 times. That fight was close and was hard even for the king of curses, his hardest fight so far. Sukuna or Gojo could have died chapters ago from those examples if Gege wanted to write it like that.

2. See in detail at extreme range
3. Differentiate between cursed energy types [this also allows the user to identify specific sorcerers by their cursed energy]
4. Offer nearly 0 waste usage of cursed energy
5. Function without cursed energy
6. Master Limitless
Seeing souls and X-ray vision is something you just invented on spot in bad faith. Mahoraga isn't composed of cursed energy, it's a shadow puppet because it's a Ten Shadows shikigami. That's why he couldn't see it through obstacles. Mahoraga also wields the Sword of Extermination, which uses positive energy instead of cursed energy, so Gojo couldn't see the flow of that either. That's why he lost arm to that Cleave before. He didn't know it was coming because there was no cursed energy flow for him to read; it was a cursed tool that had positive energy flowing instead. Had you familiarized yourself first, you wouldn't have even attempted that ridiculous argument.
I don't even need to go over the rest at this point. If you can't get through the basics, it's not worth discussing anything more advanced. It's not like the information can't be found in seconds. We have the technology.

Eh, this probably wasn’t the best decision when it comes to writing. The story has far less stakes when the heroes are this much stronger than the main villains. Without stakes, why should we care if the heroes get into a fight? We know that Gojo will bail them out regardless. It’s why Gege removed him from the equation so early. It was an extremely good decision on his part, specifically to avoid this exact same situation. This is the first time I’ve seen something like this, and it just feels boring I guess? I think it would’ve been a good character beat for Gojo to feel touchable again for once, but, nevertheless, we got a damn good fight in its place.

It's only Gojo's quick thinking and ingenuity that bailed him out. The same way Gojo almost killed Sukuna and Sukuna's quick thinking and ingenuity bailed him out. Second thing, regardless of whatever "historic power" you're on about, he actually has to HIT Gojo with it. Which means getting past Infinity. Domain expansion couldn't finish the job and domain amplification wasn't getting him anywhere. And by the time he WAS in a position to finish Gojo off with domain expansion, his own domain expansion got taken off the table due to Gojo's. So if Sukuna has to rely on Mahoraga, it simply means he had nothing in his arsenal to bypass Infinity. And since he can't use two cursed techniques at the same time, what else could he do but use 10 shadows? Thirdly, keep in mind, Sukuna has always look cool throughout the series because everyone he fought so far is cannon fodder by his standards. This is first time we've seen Sukuna in a battle of equals, not just in power but also skill and wits. Both men played their cards, both men nearly killed each other multiple time, but in the end, Gojo won out due to skilled usage of Blue and Red and using Sukuna's own tricks against him.

During this fight, my mind went back to the story Gojo told Megumi about the battle between the leader of the Gojo clan and the leader of the Zenin clan. I figured that when Gojo and Sukuna started their battle, this was supposed to relate back to the story and make us think that history will repeat itself. But it looks like this isn't the case anymore.
Sukuna will still remove Gojo. The Yorozu gift will be used to do that somehow. NArratively Gojo needs to be put out of combat.

We all know Sukuna is somehow making it out of this alive because of all the stuff he still has to show us. For example Yorozu's gift and the open technique but even has someone who thought Sukuna I can admit he lost pretty badly even if it seemed liked and even matchup during the first round. Sukuna still pushed Gojo farther than anyone else could have and it's likely that he would have stood a better chance if Gojo hadn't been so cracked especially after his prison realm experience which allowed him to condense his domain expansion to absurd degrees. I don't know why Kenjaku allowed Angel to reincarnate he should have just killed Hana or not allow the Angel to participate in the cullling games. Unless he planned to use Angel to screw over Sukuna he essentially botched his own plan.
None of that stuff has to be shown you just want to see it. Yuki's domain was never shown to us but she died, same w/ Hanami's domain, We also never saw Yuji get Sukuna's cursed techniques like Gojo said he would. Set ups don't have to pay off in this story.

I'm not even a JJK fan. But my girlfriend made me watch S1 and I didn't really like it but Gojo is a great character. I love how in episode 1 or 2 when Asked about full power Sukuna Gojo says "don't worry I'm the strongest" I've always been interested in this fight more so then anything else as it's been a couple years since I watched the first season.
