@@sixfromtokyoIm wondering what does throwing the fire hydrant even do, cus wouldn’t six eyes see throught the smoke and i doubt a fire hydrant is too much for gojo’s durability 😭
My favorite part about this fight is it basically confirmed Sukuna is not beating Gojo in Yuji’s body&he needed the best support build in the series to get close to a W.
This might not be true, Yuji’s body is vastly superior to Megumi’s. He effectively has a HR but just on a lower tier than Toji because he’s not fully tapped into its potential. Sukuna amping Yugi’s power, durability, and speed with his Curse energy would have made him a huge threat while using Domain Amplification. The problem Sukuna had with Yujis’ body was he rarely had full control.
@@mangasaint then that's not a good argument, as much as you can argue that yuji's body is amazing sukuna still couldnt fully control it and yuji doesnt have any CT either, in sukuna's eyes its a big upgrade to get a body that has the only CT known to equal gojo's while having full control
@@raphaelm7221 Megumi’s body wasn’t a down-grade by any means, it was an exchange that had more benefits than loses. Yuji’s body is a prison to him that was willing to die to merc Sukuna, he had no choice but to bail. Megumi or Yuta were probably the only worthy bodies he would inhabit and he never saw Yuta in action before, meanwhile Megumi had a direct counter to Gojo built in. He still realized Yuji as a fall back plan if they somehow do reclaim Megumi but he never expected that it would have actually been necessary, but then Gojo fired Red straight up and Sukuna saw his life flash before his eyes lol.
@@sixfromtokyo I somewhat jokingly said this but genuinely given how much extra Sukuna had to give himself with ten shadows having the literal counter to Gojo where Gojo is just using the abilities he started with it makes me feel like it's impressive for Sukuna to not have died. And unless it's revealed that Sukuna has not had gone through a "true" awakening and is kinda in the situation Gojo was in before Toji where they ARE the strongest but have not gone through that moment that showed him he has so much more potential in him Sukuna is strongly second place.
@@buttermanaws4693I think the idea of a "true" awakening is somewhat dictated by the sorcerers moral path. Sukuna did go through his own awakening. That's why he was such a strong sorcerer and it's also why he looked more like a cursed spirit. He just chose a different path. It's kinda like the Force in Star Wars imo. Choosing the dark side often deformed the Jedi. I think he definitely had his own awakening though.
@@buttermanaws4693honestly could be the case. Since he never actually had a challenge up until gojou. Unlike gojou who's had tojo give him a near death experience. So who knows what could happen now
Sukuna got the one thing he needed to beat gojo Called this man a fish on a cutting board And still got bent over his knee and spanked Yeah, hes not that guy
He isn't on he's knees? We don't even know what his CT can be, saying is useless cos of infinity and reinforcing it with "if it was useful he'd have used it" then why didn't he use it on the domain, or after maho neged infinity, cos he doesn't have the luxury to show it, as stated by kusakabe
@@phillipfrost6770and if you seriously think we’ve seen everything sukuna has to showcase you’re either the worst gojo glazer ever or just haven’t read the manga enough
I think the funniest part about this line is the fact that Gojo actually got hit with Dismantle in the last panel of the previous chapter, and none of the content creators noticed the shift while they were reporting on it. His facial expression changed, there was debris moving upward on the left side, and he was suddenly silenced during his monologue. They jumped to conclusions the entire time, even with the narrative statement. Of course it would say that, that's where they were fighting. None of them noticed that Mahoraga was missing *before* Hollow Purple detonated; only the wheel was present. I was like, "Where did Mahoraga go suddenly?" They didn't notice the clever word play or the mistranslation either. Gojo hadn't selected a new target for Blue, and Mahoraga didn't get to adapt to it because it was explicitly instructed to adapt to Infinity, so the adaptation backfired when Sukuna accidentally sent it to Blue. He planned to send it to Red when he was in the building. Sukuna didn't know if Gojo shot Blue or Red at Mahoraga indoors, he only knew that blue hit Agito. Gojo noted that Red did next to nothing to Mahoraga and didn't say anything about it, which is why he shot it up instead. He knew that Mahoraga had adapted to it by then since Red had damaged it. He knew that he had never hit Mahoraga with Blue, only with Lapse, so he intervened, mistakenly fixing Sukuna's mistake. This was the happiest accident ever. Why was that a happy accident? Because Gojo hadn't selected a new target and Lapse does damage with Infinity, not with Blue, Mahoraga couldn't have adapted to Blue. Blue couldn't damage Mahoraga, so Mahoraga couldn't trigger an adaptation since the technique was inert at the time. Gojo should have ignored it. Mahoraga couldn't activate Blue or change it's own polarity to move to it faster. So, when Gojo attacked Mahoraga, he triggered Mahoraga's Infinity adaptation, which is selected according to the situation. The instructions were to adapt, so Mahoraga turned Infinity off, erased Gojo's Infinity, and took the damage, making it adapt to Infinity again. That made it evolve by the time Hollow Purple detonated. My theory is: since Mahoraga failed to adapt to Blue in time, it turned Infinity back on, but it was a new Infinity. Not only did this Infinity stop physical contact with people and weapons, it stopped light too, so we couldn't see Mahoraga anymore. Hollow Purple washed the area in light before the explosion, and Mahoraga couldn't be seen anymore, only the wheel. Since the light came from an attack, the shikigami disappeared from view and was forced to the ground unharmed. Gojo proved to not understand the rules, stating multiple times that he intended to end it with one shot. That's not possible, and that was proven in Shibuya by Sukuna. No matter how powerful, it takes two different fatal techniques that have never damaged it before to end Mahoraga. Gojo probably landed right in front of it, got hit by its Dismantle in the last panel, and then we started chapter 236 with him in the death dimension. This line is the funniest irony 😂 The one who was bragging was the one who should've been silent the entire time. He almost died five times in that fight, and Sukuna didn't almost die a single time. He was rendered unconscious one time. I'd rather be knocked out once than almost killed at all in any fight. If a guy slits my throat, and gets back up after I choke him out for it, I'm *not* in the lead lmao He's *absolutely* the one winning the fight. That's why I love that quote. The sarcastic tone is biting. Gege aimed that at fans and executives, and just sent thousands to therapy 😂
@@JimmyCrackorn bro this theory doesn’t make sense when 236 says mahoraga perished, he can’t adapt that fast bro he died from the hollow purple. But he gave sukuna the blue print to cut through infinity which sukuna stated in 236. Him being invisible and shit don’t make sense but once again that’s your theory and chapter proves it was wrong. Sukuna killed gojo not a invisible mahoraga, plus gojo is the same person who can see souls, thing’s hiding in shadows and curse energy. You think he wouldn’t be able to see a invisible mahoraga? Plus it’s never stated or shown that mahoraga can make an adaptation like that. That’s just some headcanon stuff right there. Sukuna wasn’t being sarcastic or belittling gojo when he told gojo good job he was legit acknowledging his efforts and strength back then he wasn’t but now he does. It’s showing respect he did it to jogo too, despite sukuna being a scumbag he shows respect to the strong. You coming talking about his face changes and debris moving bro it’s not that deep you thinking too hard about it, mahoraga died and Sukuna was able to cut infinity because Sukuna learned how to and Gojo wasn’t expecting that but that’s your headcanon at the end of the day Saying Gojo almost died 5 times and Sukuna was only knocked out is glazing at its finest both arguably almost died the same amount of times, Sukuna cutting up gojo with malevolent shrine gojo could’ve died, Sukuna getting hit by a Red at point blank range he could’ve died, Sukuna barley escaping a 200% hollow purple where he almost died, Sukuna getting knocked out if Mahoraga wasn’t there he could’ve died, Mahoraga slicing through Gojo’s chest, Gojo could’ve died. Sukuna being caught in Unlimited void where he almost died but was saved by Mahoraga, Sukuna using dismantle on Gojo the first chapter of the fight gojo almost died if he didn’t dodge. Unless I’m missing something Sukuna almost died 4 times and 2 of those were bailouts by mahoraga and Gojo almost died 3 times. That fight was close and was hard even for the king of curses, his hardest fight so far. Sukuna or Gojo could have died chapters ago from those examples if Gege wanted to write it like that. Gojo died, he lost simple and Sukuna won but don’t make it seem like it was because of a invisible mahoraga and downplaying a character to support your statement when the fight shows both characters could’ve lost multiple times. You just trying to make it something that it’s not I get it you have agenda to push
@@rashadavery7742 Chapter 236 does not say Mahoraga perished, and it couldn't have said that because then Mahoraga couldn't have offered any information. Since when could Mahorage transfer its adaptations? When was that ever a thing it could do? That information exists nowhere. It makes far more sense that Mahoraga made a model for itself, especially since Gojo *did not* meet the conditions to get rid of it. Mahorage *can't* be cleared with a single attack no matter how powerful that attack is. That's a concrete fact spelled out in Shibuya when Sukuna fought it. Gojo didn't see Mahoraga hiding under the floor when it sliced his chest earlier in the fight. That caught him completely by surprise, and had a narrative statement supporting it. Gojo even called out his own surprise when Mahorage attacked him through the floor and sliced him. He had no idea it was down there. What are you talking about? I'm drawing clues left behind in the manga itself to come up with a plausible theory; *you're* just making stuff up. The Six Eyes can: 1. Read the flow of cursed energy in the environment [this allows them to "see" while their blindfolded and identify cursed techniques] 2. See in detail at extreme range 3. Differentiate between cursed energy types [this also allows the user to identify specific sorcerers by their cursed energy] 4. Offer nearly 0 waste usage of cursed energy 5. Function without cursed energy 6. Master Limitless Seeing souls and X-ray vision is something you just invented on spot in bad faith. Mahoraga isn't composed of cursed energy, it's a shadow puppet because it's a Ten Shadows shikigami. That's why he couldn't see it through obstacles. Mahoraga also wields the Sword of Extermination, which uses positive energy instead of cursed energy, so Gojo couldn't see the flow of that either. That's why he lost arm to that Cleave before. He didn't know it was coming because there was no cursed energy flow for him to read; it was a cursed tool that had positive energy flowing instead. Had you familiarized yourself first, you wouldn't have even attempted that ridiculous argument. I don't even need to go over the rest at this point. If you can't get through the basics, it's not worth discussing anything more advanced. It's not like the information can't be found in seconds. We have the technology.
@@ummactually-cb7mz The wheel got damaged, which isn't a first. We were never shown it being completely destroyed. That was one panel of damage. Again, the rules are clear. Mahoraga can't be destroyed by a single attack. It must be two different fatal attacks that have never damaged it before.
Need a horror game where you play as Sukuna trying to escape from Gojo that shit would be fire ngl You losers coming back to this after the latest chapter does not change the fact that this was funny af lol
I mean at the time, that is the only real interpretation. What the characters were referring to was Sukuna holding back some technique (probably something to do with the flame arrow). Only with foresight can you really tell that Sukuna was holding back in order to let mahoraga adapt and gain the ability to use the world cutting slash
sukuna not only gets stronger than his hien era counterpart he also gets 10 shadow teq. and got outplayed so manytimes and outsmarted by gojo. what a disgrace
During this fight, my mind went back to the story Gojo told Megumi about the battle between the leader of the Gojo clan and the leader of the Zenin clan. I figured that when Gojo and Sukuna started their battle, this was supposed to relate back to the story and make us think that history will repeat itself. But it looks like this isn't the case anymore.
@@spaztikcuk5871 where did it state that? By him saying he’s the honored one? I thought he also said that other Gojo clan members have used purple before so he’s not the only one, idk about RCT though.

This fight literally came down to who had better hand to hand combat. Since Gojo could land hits he could land black flashes. Which in turn helped him out.
I don't think you need hand-to-hand for black flashes necessarily in cases like nobara. But being a better fighter with throwing hands definitely gave Gojo an easier win. 😂

Eh, this probably wasn’t the best decision when it comes to writing. The story has far less stakes when the heroes are this much stronger than the main villains. Without stakes, why should we care if the heroes get into a fight? We know that Gojo will bail them out regardless. It’s why Gege removed him from the equation so early. It was an extremely good decision on his part, specifically to avoid this exact same situation. This is the first time I’ve seen something like this, and it just feels boring I guess? I think it would’ve been a good character beat for Gojo to feel touchable again for once, but, nevertheless, we got a damn good fight in its place.
@@bigdojacoom8999I'm on Gojo's side don't get me wrong, but let's not pretend Sukuna's actually truly finished. For all we know this is the end of Sukuna in Megumi's body. Something's gonna happen to give him a power boost, maybe relating to Kenjaku's cursed monster, that'll put him back on top as the big bad. And when he does, I don't know when and I don't know how, Yuji will finally be the one to fight him.
@@rojaedavis8367its ass writing cuz how far the gap was. i wanted to see history's strongest use his historic powers. i didn't wait to see megumi vs gojo
@@MoMo-vt2ijAss writing? Come off it. It sounds to me that you simply set your expectations way too high. First thing, the gap wasn't THAT wide. Sukuna nearly killed Gojo multiple times now. It's only Gojo's quick thinking and ingenuity that bailed him out. The same way Gojo almost killed Sukuna and Sukuna's quick thinking and ingenuity bailed him out. Second thing, regardless of whatever "historic power" you're on about, he actually has to HIT Gojo with it. Which means getting past Infinity. Domain expansion couldn't finish the job and domain amplification wasn't getting him anywhere. And by the time he WAS in a position to finish Gojo off with domain expansion, his own domain expansion got taken off the table due to Gojo's. So if Sukuna has to rely on Mahoraga, it simply means he had nothing in his arsenal to bypass Infinity. And since he can't use two cursed techniques at the same time, what else could he do but use 10 shadows? Thirdly, keep in mind, Sukuna has always look cool throughout the series because everyone he fought so far is cannon fodder by his standards. This is first time we've seen Sukuna in a battle of equals, not just in power but also skill and wits. Both men played their cards, both men nearly killed each other multiple time, but in the end, Gojo won out due to skilled usage of Blue and Red and using Sukuna's own tricks against him.
Smoking on that Gojo pack xD Sukuna exposed fraudulent fans that didn't read it for the story "I'll first strip you of your scales" and "I'm gonna wipe that smirk off your face" - Sukuna Sukuna must've been watching Bleach cuz he mf Yamoto'd that nigga xD

Gege is destroying whole careers.
I'm not even a JJK fan. But my girlfriend made me watch S1 and I didn't really like it but Gojo is a great character. I love how in episode 1 or 2 when Asked about full power Sukuna Gojo says "don't worry I'm the strongest" I've always been interested in this fight more so then anything else as it's been a couple years since I watched the first season. Seeing this fight and seeing that Gojo wasn't fucking lying is amazing .
We all know Sukuna is somehow making it out of this alive because of all the stuff he still has to show us. For example Yorozu's gift and the open technique but even has someone who thought Sukuna I can admit he lost pretty badly even if it seemed liked and even matchup during the first round. Sukuna still pushed Gojo farther than anyone else could have and it's likely that he would have stood a better chance if Gojo hadn't been so cracked especially after his prison realm experience which allowed him to condense his domain expansion to absurd degrees. I don't know why Kenjaku allowed Angel to reincarnate he should have just killed Hana or not allow the Angel to participate in the cullling games. Unless he planned to use Angel to screw over Sukuna he essentially botched his own plan.
None of that stuff has to be shown you just want to see it. Yuki's domain was never shown to us but she died, same w/ Hanami's domain, We also never saw Yuji get Sukuna's cursed techniques like Gojo said he would. Set ups don't have to pay off in this story.
Right sukuna and gojo fans are so corny lmfao, they’re both clearly gonna be offed at some point in the story for the development of others and Kenjaku being the final antagonist.
@@sixfromtokyoNo not all of them. Sukuna name is literally the first chapter so I don’t think you can compare him to that trend entirely. Based on how GeGe is using Yuji ,I don’t expect him to really use his technique until the end. Similar to Yuta in Zero.
After the latest chapter all I have to ask, HOW THE HELL DOES SUKANA MAKE IT OUT OF THIS. (Spoilers) Bro can’t use his domain, he lost Mahoraga, can’t heal, lost Agito, can’t amplify, and is barely standing. Meanwhile Gojo can still amplify and and most likely can still use red and blue. Like brother isn’t just gonna need plot armour, HE’S GONNA NEED A PLOT PLANET.
once the domain clashes ended it was over and i kinda love that gojo beat his ass with his overall skill as a jujutsu sorcerer, he just straight up outclassed him
Sukuna was holding back, but that doesn't mean he didn't struggle. (I think) he was trying to master 10 Shadows / dissect Infinity as soon as possible, not just kill Gojo, and pushing himself to the limit like that allowed him to improve. I think he risked loss several times to achieve this, so he was panicked for real. He could have made things easier by using the rest of his arsenal, but he wanted to grow.
ONG Sukuna got packed up and we never switched up on Gojo. I remember all of us in vc the one time when Gojo got his neck cut open and we was saying he was gonna come back and annihilate and he did because he is HIM
I like the parallel of Agito and Ayon from Bleach since Gege also takes inspiration from Kubo as well. Agito is a fusion of Nue, Round Deer, and Mourn Tiger…while Ayon is a fusion of the arms of the Tres Bestia who in their Resurrecions are a Serpent, Lion, and Deer.
The adaptation is based on experience, not time. That's why Sukuna wanted Mahoraga to take Red and completely adapt to it before it was revealed Gojo was actually firing upward.
@@sixfromtokyo it's based on experience mahoraga has to get hit a few times depending on the complexity of the technique even gojo said it was on experience and said it wasn't 0 to a 100 and that red was more complex than lapse blue
It seems it's actually time related, and getting hit by the ability just reduces the time it takes to adapt . For example, once Mahoraga activates his adaptability, it takes, let's say, 60 seconds to adapt to the persons ability , but every time he gets hit by that said ability, the time to adapt gets down like 10 seconds each. Atleast thats how I think it works, because they mentioned it might be both scenario's
I do think it's a mix of both. If Mahoraga sees a technique, he begins to adapt to it. Depending on the complexity of the CT, he could adapt immediately or it could take hours. But there's a catch. (a kind of binding vow) IF Mahoraga gets hit or exposed to the technique directly, the rate at which he adapts is increased and the time is shortened... The more he gets hit by the CT, the quicker he adapts at the risk of being overwhelmed in oneshot (that's the binding vow, I guess)... Kinda like how explaining your technique makes it more powerful. So it's both. -It takes time to adapt depending on the level of the CT. -The time needed to adapt gets shorter and shorter with every direct hit/exposure to the CT that Mahoraga is subjected to.
Dismantle = narrow miss; Gojo looked worried Nullified Infinite Void from the inside = sent Gojo running with Falling Blossom Emotion active Made Megumi adapt to Unlimited Void in 0.01 seconds *before* calling Mahoraga = sent chills through Gojo Slash to the jugular = almost killed Gojo; he had to heal Malevolent Shrine = almost killed Gojo; he had to run away and heal Overused domain expansion = Gojo almost ended himself Mahoraga used Slash = by threat of bleeding out, almost killed Gojo; he had to heal Getting cut in half = apparently killed Gojo I can understand him not seeing the final one because that wasn't shown to us in the previous chapter, but six pretending not to see everything before it *and* ignoring the fact that Sukuna survived Gojo's hail Mary Hollow Purple is egregious. Sure, Sukuna took hard hits and was even knocked unconscious, but almost dying wasn't a reality he had to face, even when he thought he did himself. I'd much rather be knocked out once than knocking on death's door five times in a fight. Sukuna overestimated the first Hollow Purple, and that's why he didn't actually need to worry. Gojo said he fired off a 200% Hollow Purple, and Sukuna only said it was over 120%. Now, I'm not a rocket doctor, or anything, but that's a large margin of error of 80 points. Basically, Sukuna overestimated his opponent, never being aware of how Gojo was performing so well in close quarters combat. But the other characters explained it to us when they go over how he can punch so hard. This is key information that Gojo super fans overlooked when deciding how the narrative _should_ go as opposed to how it *will* go. How content creators overlooked this is unfathomable to me. Sukuna only knew about Limitless. He didn't know that Gojo largely amplified his speed, reflexes, and strength too. He also didn't know that Gojo amplified his cursed energy output to such a great extent; he genuinely thought he had more starting cursed energy than was actually present. It was all smoke and mirrors in an elaborate Chess game, and Sukuna made mistakes as a result of falling for the tricks. Had he realized he was being tricked by Gojo's bravado, he would've moved differently and avoided being manipulated. Gojo cleverly fooled Sukuna into trying to avoid severe damage that he didn't actually have to worry about, and walked him into more damaging situations as a result. It's like telling me you've got a sniper on the roof behind me. I believe you and check, then you stab me in the kidney. My frag is absolutely more powerful than your knife, but it doesn't matter because I hadn't used it. I took the hit and you didn't. When I finally did get to use it, you hacked me to bits. I overpowered you and won, but you really gave me a hard way to go because I fell for every trick you threw at me. Will I die? No. Do I feel good? No. Am I embarrassed? Extremely. Why? Because I had a frag the entire time. I never had to get cut, but I got cut. *A LOT.* That's humiliating. Sukuna having his heart crushed was nothing. He crushed Yuji's heart himself and laughed through it while he was in control. He shrugged that off and summoned Mahoraga when Gojo did it. Like, how many times would Sukuna have to almost take his life before convincing these guys that Gojo was the one actually losing? You're right. Outside of a few choice moments in the fight, Sukuna smoked Gojo. Sorry for the long comment, I just wanted to explain why your comment is completely justified because I'm sure someone is eventually going to try picking a fight with you over it.
@@JimmyCrackorn Honestly people are way too much into theorizing about how Gojo will do the super duper secret revive hack somehow to argue about the fight itself lmao. In all honestly, a bit of media literacy is all it took to know the outcome. Sukuna was practically fine the entire fight, even while holding back as we now know. He was careful and played dirty which is in character for him. Sukuna also really did keep true to his promise... "Just another fish on the cutting board." That line was so much more than the trash talk people write it down as. Sukuna has fought strong sorcerers, he fought armies of strong sorcerers. They are not just another one to him because "they're weak", he's actually quite willing to compliment his opponents when they deserve it. They're "just another one" because the outcome at the end has Always been the same, no matter how powerful they are. He complimented Jogo before his death, and he did the same with Gojo.
@@crazagres1839 Yeah, they both played dirty. It's foolish not to play dirty in a fight to the death. When Gojo launched that surprise Hollow Purple to signal it was time to get active, Sukuna knew it was demon time. He was even liked the audacity because he could expect a good fight after something like that. Real goons don't make and follow rules if they're trying to pack someone up. Sukuna wants to fight people like that; monsters. I agree. These theories about Gojo's magical evolution and revival are presumptuous. He wasn't in the death dimension when he evolved after Toji attacked him. Toji inflicted bleed out wounds that kill more slowly, so decapitating Gojo at the end would've been smart. That's what that meant. Toji allowed Gojo to cook to life while playing dead, then use reverse curse technique to get himself and evolve. That's different from now. His spine is severed, every organ under his heart is disconnected, he's got a severed artery in his left arm, the biggest artery in his body is severed in his torso, his abdominal ganglia is destroyed, he immediately went into severe shock from the extreme trauma; even if he could circulate somehow still circulate blood, he'd rapidly enter septic shock from the rapid building of infection and environmental toxins in his body; he's concussed from his head hitting the ground; he still has the brain damage from before, and he hadn't even finished recovering from the damage Hollow Purple did you him. Like, no. Gojo's probably officially dead. I can't fathom him clinging to life in that situation long enough to be rescued or to heal from that kind of damage. And what's to stop Sukuna from surrounding his parts with a barrier to prevent him from having enough room to recover his wounds? If Sukuna is that confident while looking at the body, I'm sure Gojo is Gonejo. He can't play possum long enough to survive that stare down. That's another thing that stuck out to me about Sukuna's choice of words. He went for a specific win condition, not just any victory. He proved that he wasn't only more powerful, but to such an extent that he could win specifically how he *wanted* to. He had other techniques that he could use but he focused on all of his kill attempts being cutting techniques. Even opting for Mahoraga the way he did when he knew full well it wasn't yet necessary. Domain amplification was effective and he knew it. He confirmed it by drawing blood. He could have used Agito far better than he did, and he knew that too. He instead used Agito only as a distraction, but he proved to have the hands to make that combination troublesome for Gojo even in Megumi's body. But he chose Mahoraga earlier than needed as a flex so he could win the way he *wanted* to. That's savage. Then the way he complimented Gojo at the end wreaked of sarcasm. It wasn't aimed at Gojo. I think he meant it as an honor. Gojo proved to be one of the toughest to come after him. I think Gege aimed that line at the execs and the fans. There have been tensions between the parties about the IP and Gojo's role in the story. Gege never wanted him to be prominent, just a cool superpower in the background who inspired the heroes, not the hero himself. Well, we see that's not how that worked out, and that caused problems that Gege was subtle but not exactly silent about. By pushing him to the front, execs essentially gave Gege writer cramps because that wasn't the planned narrative. When fans latched on and kept polling for Gojo despite Gege kindly asking them to be more supportive and not do that, the decision was made. Gojo got sealed away; demand went up and pressure mounted to bring him back before the clash with Sukuna. At that point, I imagine that Gege took this personally. The community was willfully disposing of his / her characters, narrative, and original plans. All of that was hard work. I understand being offended by that as a writer myself. So, I think the big, bold font and devilish grin was done to taunt the Gojo faction that had basically seized control of the series from the author. Total power play in one line. That's something that I would've done.
I love that Gojo just used Rhythm Echo out of nowhere Since Yuji names a bunch of Shonen we know they exist in Jjk I can imagine Gojo just reading and trying to use it since it looked cool 😂

You think?
@@sixfromtokyo I somewhat jokingly said this but genuinely given how much extra Sukuna had to give himself with ten shadows having the literal counter to Gojo where Gojo is just using the abilities he started with it makes me feel like it's impressive for Sukuna to not have died.
And unless it's revealed that Sukuna has not had gone through a "true" awakening and is kinda in the situation Gojo was in before Toji where they ARE the strongest but have not gone through that moment that showed him he has so much more potential in him Sukuna is strongly second place.
He's in Mgumi's body, would've died in Domain if not for Megumi and Mahoraga combined

"Good job Gojo Satoru. I will never forget about you"😂
I think the funniest part about this line is the fact that Gojo actually got hit with Dismantle in the last panel of the previous chapter, and none of the content creators noticed the shift while they were reporting on it.
You coming talking about his face changes and debris moving bro it’s not that deep you thinking too hard about it, mahoraga died and Sukuna was able to cut infinity because Sukuna learned how to and Gojo wasn’t expecting that but that’s your headcanon at the end of the day
Saying Gojo almost died 5 times and Sukuna was only knocked out is glazing at its finest both arguably almost died the same amount of times, Sukuna cutting up gojo with malevolent shrine gojo could’ve died, Sukuna getting hit by a Red at point blank range he could’ve died, Sukuna barley escaping a 200% hollow purple where he almost died, Sukuna getting knocked out if Mahoraga wasn’t there he could’ve died, Mahoraga slicing through Gojo’s chest, Gojo could’ve died.
The Six Eyes can:
1. Read the flow of cursed energy in the environment [this allows them to "see" while their blindfolded and identify cursed techniques]
2. See in detail at extreme range
3. Differentiate between cursed energy types [this also allows the user to identify specific sorcerers by their cursed energy]
4. Offer nearly 0 waste usage of cursed energy
5. Function without cursed energy
6. Master Limitless
Seeing souls and X-ray vision is something you just invented on spot in bad faith.
@@JimmyCrackorn his wheel legit got destroyed as well he’s not transferring them Sukuna just learned

Yea I have no idea, unless someone in that black box Sukuna has a replacement body he can use.
He makes it out of this by becoming a Kenjaku hand puppet. Never trust a salesman.

It’s somewhat possible his plan was for all the shadows to be destroyed. Maybe there abilities transferred to him.

After chapter 236, folks that were celebrating on comments have gone real quite. Almost like there's a funeral or something...

💀This aged like milk in the sun
11:35 well that didn't aged fucking well lmao
I like the parallel of Agito and Ayon from Bleach since Gege also takes inspiration from Kubo as well. Agito is a fusion of Nue, Round Deer, and Mourn Tiger…while Ayon is a fusion of the arms of the Tres Bestia who in their Resurrecions are a Serpent, Lion, and Deer.
“No Agito, that’s not right. I can’t say that to him. It’ll just end up becoming a curse for him.”
“Sukuna… you’ve got it from here”
The adaptation is based on experience, not time. That's why Sukuna wanted Mahoraga to take Red and completely adapt to it before it was revealed Gojo was actually firing upward.
What if he wanted it to get hit so it could adapt over the next few minutes/seconds? Because it's already been hit a few times before.
(a kind of binding vow)
IF Mahoraga gets hit or exposed to the technique directly, the rate at which he adapts is increased and the time is shortened...
@@sixfromtokyo If it was already adapting and the adaptation was time-based, he didn't need it to get hit again. He could have just waited.
Six with takes as correct as usual lmao. Gojo got Dogwalked indeed...
Dismantle = narrow miss; Gojo looked worried
Nullified Infinite Void from the inside = sent Gojo running with Falling Blossom Emotion active
Made Megumi adapt to Unlimited Void in 0.01 seconds *before* calling Mahoraga = sent chills through Gojo
Slash to the jugular = almost killed Gojo; he had to heal
Malevolent Shrine = almost killed Gojo; he had to run away and heal
Overused domain expansion = Gojo almost ended himself
Mahoraga used Slash = by threat of bleeding out, almost killed Gojo; he had to heal
Getting cut in half = apparently killed Gojo
I can understand him not seeing the final one because that wasn't shown to us in the previous chapter, but six pretending not to see everything before it *and* ignoring the fact that Sukuna survived Gojo's hail Mary Hollow Purple is egregious.
"Just another fish on the cutting board."
That line was so much more than the trash talk people write it down as.
That red back shot into a blue empowered black flash is crazyy🫢😭😭

Fun fact. In the Vietnamese translation of the fight Gojo add some extra sprinkles of savagery on Agito by saying that she's boring(referring to her repeated move set) and told her that she's the only one not worthy of fighting him before ending her with Blue.
That black flash into the chain definitely made the difference in letting Gojo break the jumping session.
