9:37. holy crap. That jump is from Assassin's Creed Unity. I can't believe they finally reused some of the best assets from previous games.
Yeah the developers have actually added some gameplay mechanics from unity and odyssey for jade which I think is really awesome imo

Unity's Parkour is not one of my favorites but its animations are great, the bad thing is that sometimes they didn't connect well and they seemed to run in Zero gravity, I hope Tencent knows how handle animations
Bro they literally have used unity’s animations sense it came out, they just copy and paste, this isn’t a reference to the old animations, just lazy design
If you pay close attention odyssey assassination is being used like using the spear of Leónides

Nothing makes me more happy than seeing Assassin's Creed going back to it's roots in AC Mirage, but to be honest, I Loved Rpg Assassin's Creed games a lot too, and I'd love to see AC jade on big screens too

Stealth looks horrid 💀 although I just read you actually can use cover assassinations? But hey for a mobile game this game looks awesome, I’m definitely getting it!

@@i.2084 while that is true, that is no excuse for getting spotted midst an animation by the same dude you are killing thus everybody gets alerted, not sure how you can cover assassinate because in the video looks like you just get spotted and don’t get a chance to cover assassinate at all and then there’s guys that apparently don’t die instantly, all of these could’ve been avoided even for a mobile game. But hey it’s just the beta version so it may change
And if it doesn’t change I’ll still play it because it still seems to be a great game

@@Shadow16971 That far of jump could have been done in Valhalla in the same way, Unity physics would have had the guy land on the platform and probably cleared the edge by a couple feet.

I remember in older assassin's Creed games you can only climb walls and surfaces that grip or stuff sticking to hold on to but now a days they just be wall crawling like spider man
Well ... on the other hand in old assassins creed games the enemies where as capable as protagonist - the most comic one chasing was when Ezio is trying to kill the cardinal in AC:2Brothehood and the cardinal in his robe and with his obesity have the same ability to parkour as Ezio...

but the sunny atmosphere takes away any ambience for complete addictive immersion that usually sells a game at full price

Every thing is good but they should make the animation more clean and also improve the combat physics the combat doesn't look exciting
tbh gameplya looks exactly like every other current ac rn (origins, odyssey, valhalla) but for mobile man it looks really good! i bet they will bring to this to switch EASY!!!

@@nml_lostranger sorry it took me a while to reply: yes this game was extremely fun it was really addicting and the open world was great I never got to explore the whole world but from what I got to see was amazing

True Assassins creed must be not rpg style, it’s looking like origins and odyssey, the same atmosphere. They have to change, tweak the graphics and gameplay elements.

And even then I only got to play for a few days so I didn’t even scratch the surface of the actual story of the game

I haven't played unity as much as everyone else, could someone explain to the reuse of unity stuff in this gameplay showcase
Unity was the start of the black box missions, basically you get a target but that’s it, it didn’t matter if you had to kill the dude with a hidden blade or shoot him white a sniper or whatever, the rpg games are set up the exact same way… so that’s that, but unity had some of the best gameplay mechanics, like the ability to parkour up and down a building faster than any other assassins creed game
To be clear, this seems to be 95% Odyssey, the movement, the lighting and visuals, the assassination animations, the damage numbers, etc
Ofc it's a mobile game, so I'm not saying this is a major issue.

this game is before odyssey which is already a proto assassin game. the whole proto assasin idea is dumb imo. at that point it's not even about the assassins creed anymore.

The combat and stealth 🥷 needs a lil bit of touch tho 💯
Man i like the game and would definitely play it but all those extra ui elements and useless effects just ruin the immersion for me ngl. I don't think enemies need that floating icon above their head, and if it's actually necessary just show them when fighting an enemy to keep the immersion. And all those numbers popping up when giving damage to the enemies or all those toony trails when swinging blades looks so unnecessary, ruins the immersion. Also corpses should stay there for a while and then they must make a better dissolve animation instead of some glitch in the Matrix looking thing haha. I am so very sure they can do this but i am not sure how open to suggestions they actually are. They should really focus on eliminating the mobile game feel in it, like graphics and animations are top notch, but some effects needa be replaced/removed, plus another suggestion from my end would be to find a better way to eliminate floating animations. They do that by a simple code right now that detects if the player is on the ground while the animation is playing, if not they just simply keep the player stuck to the ground during certain animations like the safetyroll, which atleast most mobile devs do as it's fairly simple and optimistic. Now two better ways are 1) Animation approach and 2) Physics approach. 1) They must detect if the player leaves the ground which performing the animation and transition to another animation which plays if a player is falling freely, which would look much better and less restrictive. 2) They must use physics (ragdoll) when the player leaves the ground which performing the safety roll. This may look more satisfying but may require more cpu resources.

@@J_R0CKH4RD Yeah the animations are great, we're crystal clear on that, I mean it won't kill occult kills, killing stealth to a large extent, if you were to hit a certain enemies, but others don't, at least like Valhalla that had a quick time event

I think I'm more excited towards this game than Mirage. In Mirage, they removed many elements from Odyssey, Origins, and Valhalla. This one is more similar
