Jumping Dolphin - Colored Pencil Drawing

Here's a drawing of a dolphin in colored pencil. I used Faber Castell Polychromos colored pencils on a wet dry 1000g sandpaper.

Good video and lovely picture! But I am wondering: Are you really using sandpaper meant for smoothing metal before and between coats of paint (the stuff you buy in the same shop as hammers and nails) or is that some special paper for artists (given that you chose a colour)?

It's wet to dry 1000grit sandpaper that can be bought in a hardware store.
