Binging this series with you people rules
For me each of the three jobs corelates with the theme of "intent to do harm". The first job was a guy straight up trying to curse someone just out pettiness, second was a stalker using his pyshic talents to peep and the third was tourist wsnting to ghost bust for their own convenience. Even the bullys getting bullied by his mates lead to this theme. Very important thing to bring up because of who Mob is and what he is lacking. Remember Mob doesn't act, he reacts. Even then when he does because his lack of emotional control he isn't aware of where and when is the line. If not for Reigen those claw fellows would have been dead. Plus Mob is aware if he was to go to far who would realistically be able to stop him.

Yeah, I found it really interesting how this conflict and thinking in Mob is actually reflected later on in the series. I won't spoil, but it's definitely something that is beneath the surface later on, but I think it's sort of subtle, so it's easy to forget Mob was battling with this conflict between existing between the two worlds of humans and spirits. It's easy to see how he could be led to a very dark place if he started to feel like the same way he exorcises spirits should be fine to apply to humans too.
At 7:28 I think his train of tought is more in line to "why do we treat ghosts diferently by eradicating them on sight and people just as evil get to have a trail and go trough the justice system" or something like that lol
Spirits are mostly from people too, that's why he has the dilemma.

P.S. Good point about this new conflict within Mob, and how easy it would be for an esper to go from dispatching spirits to dispatching humans instead.

here's the thing about reigen, he's a con man but he's a professional! we see him work hard to make his customers happy. he lies but he still puts that work in! Photoshop, massage, even washing dogs, he has the best work ethic out of any con artist and wants to pass this dish to mob teaching him good morales. he knows clients can be shitty in the service industry but still tries to do what he can for them, giving them a free meal than argue that the food was done right. he can put up with it but forgets the emotional abuse it puts in ppl that aren't used to it like mob & once he realizes, he puts mob first, not telling mob he got cursed bc he didn't want mob to worry
This episode is great episode for mob, him wondering if there is anyone who could stop him if he switched sides is one of my favorite scenes and hits hard.

NGL I was with getting the Spirits OUTTA HERE until the dad begged to just be left alone. At that point it would’ve felt like actually ending a person, which we know is a line Reigen doesn’t want him to cross
just caught up on all these reactions 💙 man my fav episode is 7 can’t wait to see y’all reaction ☝️
this episode is less "comedy" and very slow but its such an important episode for mob himself
this anime is peak later half of season 2 >>>> just make sure to pay attention to everything
