Everyone's feelings towards Aegon in a nutshell.
Now I kind of understand why we have too many Aegon, this my theory or personal opinion, it's about the dream of Aegon the Conqueror about the promise prince, Viserys knew the story so he wanted a son for a long time to fulfil the dream so it's natural for an him to named his first son as Aegon, Rhaenyra knew it too so she also have a Son named Aegon, it's just that she gave it to her full blooded Targaryen son
He knew of Aegon’s dream but the reason he wanted a son was because of his own Dragon Dream, their fully prophetic dreams that many Targaryens have had including Viserys.
Not really why Visery named his Dead son with Aemma as Baelon and not Aegon.

What people fail to understand is that Laryc is exactly like little finger. He started the hatred between Rhaynarys and Alicent. He further stoked the fuel by his hate for his brother and father. The fact that he brother fathered three sons with the heir to the throne did not sit well with him. Now he is going to come between Allicent and her father. He has already started sowing seeds of distrust by mentioning the spies
Turn family against family. Larys was running this game before Peytr Baelish was even born. And Larys is Master of Whisperers as well as Lord of Harrenhal.
Who fails to understand this? It's as obvious as the nose on your face!

Just a Reminder. They say it constantly, but Rhaenys was never up for being queen. The question was should the throne pass through hee to her son, Laenor. At most she’d have been Queen Regent.

Rhaenys' scene.... Well I'm not cheering for the death of those poor powerless civilians or wishing Rhaenys killed the green team at once... I tried to understand why she did it that way as the writers gave it to us...
First the facts : she accepted Jaehaerys' decision to follow the Westeros lords' will to put a male, her cousin, on the throne bc it was ultimately the king's decision and bc Viserys wasn't a bad guy, especially when she saw that he wanted his daughter to be queen ...it was a frustration in her life but she accepted it and chose to let go ...but now once more the same scenario, except that Viserys, the king, never chose Aegon and the lords aren't respecting that decision and Aegon is definitely not a good choice (she probably doesn't know all of his dirty deeds but it's not hard to tell)...and they try to force that choice onto her leaving her with no freedom again? Really Alicent?
'Hell no!' she said 'even tho I'm not really team Rhaenyra I'm not yours either, I'm free, too old to bend for anyone(*)... and I'm out (flip hair) and I want you to know that I'm not fleeing like a thief, I could kill you all right here and now, but I'm not like you... threatening people while asking for support? this is bs.. (*and she didn't for Rhaenyra either, only at the end supporting her husband's decision when she was also convinced by Rhaenyra's actions)
...this is how I see it 😅so this is actually a character moment for me and I respect her choice to be independent and her respect for her husband even when she didn't see eye to eye with him she is the best wife
The reality of the problem is that women have to rely on men's strength or fsr choose to do so when they shouldn't (White Worm is a good example of both but Alicent or Rhaenyra are in the same case too) instead of sticking together...a very real issue I like that angle

@@Anakin_skywalkerr_ male or female dragon rider character on that dragon, it wouldn't have matter. if you took it as a "girl boss" moment then you weren't paying attention to the story. the whole point was to strike fear into the greens. she grounded their notions of aegon usurping the throne quietly from the blacks. you labeled something as a moment for a specific character instead of looking at the bigger picture then got upset.
Love how everyone is going off at the greens, but as a recent book reader I found out they have been SEVERALLY watered down. Y'all they're psychopaths 🖐️😭🐍🐍🐍
