The most popular car in Indonesia,but almost Indonesian ppl buy the diesel one and manual transmission
But when the gen 1 was still on sale, most buyers bought petrol unit as people then hasn't loved diesels as they do now.
It's only after gen 2 (aka Innova Reborn) launched when diesel started to beat petrol engine sales because of the GD engine's bigger power and significantly improved fuel efficiency compared to previous gen's KD engine.
Nice! Despite having so so performance, the 1TR motor is bullet proof. This video reminds me to my parents' 2014 2.0 V AT they sold 2 years ago. Engine sound indeed was relatively loud, and the transmission often confused when shifting gears on steep hills. Good thing that they replaced the 4 speed auto with a 6 speed one in the 2nd gen Innova.
The diesel variants have quite a purr
How would u rate the nvh? Esp engine noise. Does the 1tr-fe sound good n smooth?
Overall NVH including the engine noise I will give 5 out of 10. Most sound are contributed by engine noise. The wind and road noises are OK tho.
I feel like these test drive videos better to watch with loudspeaker
You are suggested to put on headphones to get the ambient sound from the driving. 😀

it's max torque were 184nm not 190
There are different information on this car engine figure. So I take one of it as all of them just in between the different of 5nm 😂
@@AnthonyLoh in m'sia only 1 spec available n it's the same output vvti n dual vvti engine.
@@wongmichael1879 Ya as you said the max torque is 184nm. But I checked Paultan stated is 182nm. Anyway it is around that range.
