in the book Bram doesn't appear that much and doesn't have much dialogue because he says he gets shy around cute guys (with Simon been one of them :) ) i kind of miss that but i understand the direction they went for the movie. i watched the movie first than i read the book than i re - watched it and i LOVE the parts with Simon and Bram :)
Doesn't matter how many times I see the clips from this movie. The moment Simon sends that email and it's failed to deliver and how his reacts gets me every time!! And of course when he meets Blue..awww...tissues man....tissues!!!
although that bit where he goes onto the ad angry has nothing to do with the email being blocked i believe that bit is actually once his emails have been leaked
I can’t stress enough how I think everyone who likes the movie should read the book (although ideally you should read the book first) It’s an amazing book and the movie did a good job of capturing it but there are so many good parts that they left out. Also reading is another experience, it’s different from a movie.

You don't have to be gay to enjoy this movie. Just a human being with a fully functioning brain and heart. Complete masterpiece. Well worth watching and learning from

I love the subtle hints that it's Bram. First it's the Halloween-themed Oreos, then it's guessing the John Lennon costume correctly, and finally it's singing together at karaoke. Even if you didn't read the book, you can figure it out. So beautiful.
