"Zero" music streaming services. I've got a CD player with selectable speakers in different rooms throughout my house (including the garage). My car has a CD player. Best thing about this set-up it is no commercials. Yes, I still buy physical media. 😊
I have no problem with ad supported streaming services as long as the advertisments do not interrupt the flow of the program, such as dialogue of the program.
I have both Spotify and Tidal as subscriptions and also use UA-cam music. Between the three I get everything I want to hear. Tidal has the best sound and my wife uses Spotify more b/c of their podcasts.
I'm a big NFL fan in Kentucky that the Bengals pull people to go see Bengals games. I don't see the Colts doing that kind of advertising for games although both Paycor stadium and Lucas Oil Stadium are about the same distance from my house. I hate that I get blackouts for Bengals games only to get the Colts instead or some other game.
Been subscribed for a few weeks and enjoy your content If you don’t care about HD music it really does not matter how you get your music content just pick the one you like I stream separately from TV but there are ways to listen to HD music on you TV If you enjoy HiFi audio there can be a lot to it or it can be as simple as Apple or Amazon HD music subscriptions Spotify and UA-cam don’t offer HD music Thank you for the content
7:18 considering the NFL has a simulcast mandate for games in market, it wouldn’t hurt for other leagues that have games that are on ESPN, FS1, Prime Video to simulcast to affiliates. I know ABC and FOX can sublicense it to MyNetwork TV and CW stations
I rarely stream music but when i do i just use UA-cam. I agree with you about the Google podcasts app. I haven't listened to any of my favorite podcasts since they killed the app.
I almost fell off a step ladder doing some contract work when our Michigan governor decided it was a good idea to use the emergency alert tone for a nonemergency, basically saying that one of her new rules that she unilaterally decided was a good idea was going into effect. It was not an emergency and she should’ve been fined if they’re going to find ESPN the governor’s office should be fine too.
ESPN fine is bogus as far as I'm concerned. One of the local channels run an EMS test as often as weekly, making it a nuisance, therefore, nullifying the results.
In Australia the cable company was paid to carry the free to air networks so the oppisite of whst you had in north America, hardly anyone watched that way so the money stopped and foxtel now includes free to air receivers in their set top boxes, with people told to use an antenna to watch the free servhces alongside the paid ones. Apps of the free tv networks ABC iView, 7plus, tenplay, 9now and SBS on demand are very popular each having millions of installs
I don't understand what you are talking about with Disney considering ad supported channels when they have been getting rid of them and trying to drive people toward Disney Plus.
As regarde to sports on local channels. I live in central MS and am a Saints fan. My local Fox, which carries some of Saints games, sometimes chooses to carry Cowboys game instead. Since I am in blackout zone I have no option to watch the Saints. Very maddening.
If ESPN can get fined for using the Emergency Alert System then all the Kid Channels on UA-cam should be fined as well kids are geting desensitized from that.
My favorite music service is TuneIn because they have a lot of my favorite radio stations.
Tune In does have a huge catalogue of stations.
I suspect all streaming service will be Ad-supported in the future.
We are essentially migrating from Ad-supported cable to Ad-supported streaming
I don’t have the patience to sit through commercials anymore. I certainly won’t pay for any service with commercials.
There will come a day when all streaming services will move to ad only.

Can't remember when I used CDs.
I can't remember when I bought a cd!😊
I lament the lack of a CD player in new vehicles. I could put in a CD using muscle memory instead of trying to tap around a smart phone.
I use a CD player in the car. I mostly stream music at home. I use free Spotify, VEVO and Country Circle apps on Roku.
I have no problem with ad supported streaming services as long as the advertisments do not interrupt the flow of the program, such as dialogue of the program.
Amazon music is nice, but UA-cam music has a much larger variety. Not much older music on Amazon, and not many older groups on Amazon.
I basically use spotify as my go music platform..
Its good to have other platforms to use and check out..
Thank you so much Cord Cutters News. :)
I use Apple Music for Music & Podcasts
A lot of people in southern Wisconsin are Chicago Cubs fans because it was the only game they could watch for free OTA. Back in the day.
Then those people are fibs...
I use Spotify the most.
Amazon Freevee/Channels picked up the free Disney channels that was on the ABC app and so did The Roku Channel
How about Apple Music? I switched from Prime to Apple and I like it better.
Apple Music has better audio quality.
I have both Spotify and Tidal as subscriptions and also use UA-cam music. Between the three I get everything I want to hear. Tidal has the best sound and my wife uses Spotify more b/c of their podcasts.
I only use Amazon music. I have a ton of music on it and I love it

Is Disney plus shutting in November
I use Pandora music service ,don't have a dvd player in my 2021 Equinox. Have a Bluetooth specker in my house.

Stream music through free Spotify, VEVO and Country Circle. I use CD & FM radio in the car.

Amazon Music :)
Is it a very great Q&A but I want add when you do the Q&A make it in an ad free one
I had Disney Plus with Hulu for a long time.. Got rid of it though.. too much woke stuff for my taste..
Only music I listen to is UA-cam videos. In the car it is all Sirius Canadian CBC 1 talk shows

I HAVE YT Premium for few years now & comes with YT music & lovin it , don't gave a shyt about others
I have and use Apple Music. Because my apartment has all Apple and Beats by Dre products. I think Apple Music is the best in general too Luke.
I use Spotify … tried a few different apps but they didn’t have as much Kpop content as I wanted…
I use Apple music. It seems the most organized to me. Spotify seems like it’s for kids and Amazon is total junk to me.
Agreed
Add me to the “I use Apple Music” column.
My question is when does Roku have a new update?
That actually updates itself once in a while.
We love Pandora and I heart plus Amazon prime

UA-cam music because it comes with prime, I will gladly pay to not see ads
Apple Music is perfect
Enjoy your news daily. Appreciate it!
Love the Q & A s!
UA-cam Music/ UA-cam Premium
Always good information, enjoy q&a
Apple Music is best
Pandora is the best
I started with Pandora, but they don’t have as much content as Spotify… so I’m using Spotify the most now.
As regarde to sports on local channels. I live in central MS and am a Saints fan. My local Fox, which carries some of Saints games, sometimes chooses to carry Cowboys game instead. Since I am in blackout zone I have no option to watch the Saints. Very maddening.
ROKU TV FREE AND FUN TIMES AHEAD
At least here in Tampa Bay Spectrum does not have Bally sports on the top tier. Bally is on TV select which is mid basic……Go Bolts
