Retired teacher with 8 and 10 year grandsons! I really enjoy watching your videos to keep up with current curriculum and teaching practices to support my grandsons learning at home. Love the crates!
Love your videos! I'm a retired teacher. I retired seven years ago and still look for school stuff 😊. God bless you! Thank you I enjoyed watching you it brings so many beautiful memories.❤💛🕊️🙏✝️🤲🥰👋
Ahhh!! Can't beilive I've been watching you since I was in highschool and always dreamed of being a teacher when seeing your videos!! I'm now a SENIOR IN COLLEGE, doing my student residency in 3rd grade!!! I'm loving it and my kiddos!! Thank you soo much for all the helpful tips, please keep posting for any tips or advice you have for student teachers/teaching in general. I would love to use it in my class and feel nervous to teach Math soon haha. HAVE A GREAT SCHOOL YEAR!!!
Your kids are so young. I'd hate to he away from my kids daily while teaching other kids. That has to be a big ordeal in your day to day life. Hopefully you can be at home with yours more. Great teaching strategies. God 🙌 bless
3rd teacher in Nor Cal as well. We also use benchmark so it’s so cool to see how you taught fables and what you did. I’m curious to see how you’re going to teach about similes because I feel like the two poems in our Unit 2 Benchmark is so meh
3rd grade ELA teacher in TX here! We took our first ELA unit test (fiction) and it was bombed. 😂 Do you do a small group every day to review said bombed test or do it whole class or…? I love fresh ideas. And I love the idea of ONE group a day and doing a deep dive with them!
I’m curious how your early finisher with kiwico works logistically. Do you have one per class? How do you make it work with different kids using it and coming to work on it when they finish. Can you reuse it?
This was great! I used your old centers video to set up mine in 2nd grade and it was AMAZING! I can’t wait to see the new one! I was wondering if you had a link for the blue and green chairs in your room? I desperately need a new one!
Do you use Jack and Janet kids take turns reading around the group and answering questions at the end of the session and do you use toby paper back phonics book you write in that is what I did in 3rd grade
Question: how do you get your kids to do their work in each station without having arguments or being loud when you have to teach a small group and can't supervise the others groups?
Why do you have a student desk next to your desk ? What kind of student sit there? How are you managing hallway behavior and consequences? Do you ever hold their hand if they run ? Please answer
Cuz it was extra so I use it to put pencils on. No one sits there’s. No if kids continue run they have consequences, I never hold their hands. I set high expectations and follow through
@@EarlyEDventures what consequences do you give if they continue to run and I was just curious because they was a chair with the desk there ? Please answer

I just moved to 3rd grade from 5th. I love watching your videos and now we both teach 3rd grade. :)

My district also uses Twig (online version only - not even the student textbooks), but Mystery Science is SO much more engaging
@@rachelmasini1212 I agree!!! But mystery science isn’t as in depth
Awesome vlog! Thanks for sharing and good luck with the upcoming school year
Thank you, I always enjoy your Vlogs. Your classroom is so nice. Enjoy!
My district uses Benchmark but unit one is science for us.

Toluca is the best! I’ve used her for the last few years! Kiwi crates are the best too. I used to buy them for my own kids too!

Love your schedule cards nice big and bold !
Did you just bake on PowerPoint?
Yeah! They’re in my TpT store as well (I think??)

I was wondering, can you reuse the KiwiCo over again or is it a one used item?

I've missed your content so much!❤
I had to watch your video because my grandma say we have to watch learning videos
I used twig last year with 3rd grade and it was not a favorite
thank you for showing the reality of teaching!!!🫶🏻
Wow jm ready for 3rd grade
would u share how you manage their textbooks in class?
😊
Question: how do you get your kids to do their work in each station without having arguments or being loud when you have to teach a small group and can't supervise the others groups?
Set excitement high expectations, have rewards when they are on task and related consequences when they aren’t. And follow through
@@EarlyEDventures Thanks, can you give examples of consequences?
I love school 🎒
Why is recess only 10 mins! I am a 3rd grader and I have 2, 30min recesses, I enjoy "Teaching my parents" With the new common core standards.
Why is my recess 5 minutes

do you only get to one lesson per week for math?
One lesson per WEEK? No…I do one lesson per day (M,W,F) so three a week and usually I can throw one into my small group center depending on the lesson
This is the fastest semi valley girl accent I've ever heard
@@angelsscapes2977 🤷🏻♀️
@@EarlyEDventures not that it's a bad thing 😘 Do you!! Love it!

How much do you actually use day-to-day? I would bet not much.
How much do I actually use what day to day???
