Hey Tim, absolutely incredible sermon! Last night I was given the opportunity to evangelize within my group of friends who still actively partake in abusing substances and question God and his grace. I was extremely nervous to say the wrong things or to be belittled by their harsh opinions about Christ but the very Lord that saved a wretched and broken soul like mine gave me immense confidence to spread the good word. That situation I was scared to be in was the very one that further strengthen my faith last night after that confrontation. The Lord truly does welcome all to the table!!

I know you are doing Luke's version of the miracle. In Matthew's version chapter 15 he tells the woman from Canaan that "it is not meet to take the children's bread and cast it to the dogs." She replies "Truth Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their master's table." And Jesus heals her daughter because of her faith. Then he feeds the multitude and and there are seven baskets of fragments. I took that to mean that there was going to be so much leftovers that the gentiles would be able to eat because there were so many crumbs leftover so symbolically the gentiles will be able to be saved as well.
