No. Leave it closed until it is time to empty tank. Leaving it open causes a big problem. Solids get hung up in tank as there is not enough water velocity to flush that big of tank space. Search the phrase “poop pyramid “ and you’ll see what I mean.
Allows me to empty all tanks directly into on-site septic tank. No need to travel or transport to a collection site. I still leave the valve closed until tank is full.
@@JRGx1987 I guess it’s the distance. Mine is connected to septic (keeping tanks closed) but with the regular equipment provided. I guess the plumbing is for distance and or stability. Thank you! 😊
