What really happened to Hole's bassist, Kristen Pfaff. Does Courtney Love know more than she's saying and how close was Kristen to Kurt Cobain?
I believe that Kristen only died because she knew too much about Kurt's death. Jealousy might have been a big pusher, but the main purpose was to get her out of the way.

I agree. If Kristen had survived, she would have wanted justice for Kurt like the rest of us, and I don't doubt she had information she could have used against both Courtney and Eric. She just wanted to do it far away and surrounded by family and friends.
She may have said something in anger to Courtney and Eric,which she immediately regretted,and those 2 monsters looked at each other and said,"time to go."

Just to confirm for record- I have had it confirmed by a family member of Pfaff's that the pages ripped out of Pfaff's diary regarded the period of time Cobain was missing only. But I did just want to confirm I have not seen the paper diary with the pages ripped out nor do I have any reason to think I will- Janet Pfaff has said publicly she is considering publishing parts of them in future and there are excerpts from them in her excellent book. The hours of diary recordings, reflections and meditations made by Kristen Pfaff which I was given by Jason Pfaff and which I have been told were previously unheard by anyone before Jason shared them with me- even by the Pfaff family to the best of my knowledge- are to do with her time in Hole and also when she was recovering from drug addiction. They are complex and require the full context of the book which I hope people can read for themselves before too long. Although my motivation is to share as much information as I can on Kristen's life in the book in this way I have the interests of various parties I have to consider- primarily the interests and needs of the Pfaff family, people who knew Pfaff if they are depicted in a way that requires consideration and then the input of my agent and of publishers and I am determined the book has a publisher who will not censor lots of information if the Pfaff family want it shared, which has made finding a publisher complex even though there is frankly been a lot of publishing industry interest in the book. The publisher of the book needs to be brave as well as sensitive primarily to the Pfaff family.
The Diary element is so intriguing...I truly hope there will be publishing of Kristen's writings ✍

I am so excited to hear about a Kristen's diary entries and meditations coming out, as I have already read "Unfinished Rhapsody". Kristen is my inspiration and someone I relate to on a personal level. I can only hope that the publishing of her thoughts will get noticed by mainstream press and people will once again start questioning the kind of people she was hanging around with and connect the dots. @@AvecPoesie what happens with the written Kristen diaries is up to Kristen's mum as she has them. Jason has shared lots of Kristen's writing with me for book- her early stories, her essays at uni, her drawings, and the diary recordings. Also photos, letters from key members of the scene which change the picture. I have also conducted lots of interviews with those who new her best. I am cramming as much as I can of such things into the book and a bold publisher will publish them in the book along with the recollections of those that new her that offer new insight

Leaving Kristin in the bathtub has always made me crazy. I had a friend who was an alcoholic and often fell asleep in the tub and during that time, my life would be making sure that didn’t happen.
Very good point, especially after they're stocked up on alcohol or someone comes around you know is bringing them drugs. Can't stop a persons bad decisions per se but If they are a friend I'm gonna make sure that they aren't in the process of dying at least once throughout the night.

My daughter was poisoned by fentanyl and found in a bathtub. If she was too cold to shoot up, she would take a bath ( trying to warm up her body). She could barely shoot herself up that's how I know who killed her.

(I'm certainly noy implying this is evidence, just pointing out how she has toyed with the dead rockstar/black widow image since the beginnings of her career - and that's sick and insane)
She had talked about it more than once since she was a kid. She's always been a manipulative and twisted individual.
Courtney Hole just likes using other people's ideas or sayings and passing them off as something she made up. Kill Rock Stars is a punk record label, and the label's first release was a 7-inch record featuring Kathleen Hanna, the riot grrrl that Ms. Hole wishes she was.

Proves psychological state of mind was present prior to suspicious deaths of close associates. Kurt was leaving courtney. Kristen was leaving courtney. They both wind up dead = no coincidence.
Wow. This is so tragic - a beautiful, talented young woman snuffed out in her prime. You can never say "no" to a narcissist and walk away - THEY decide when you're done, not you (trust me, I know from personal experience how this goes.) While the $ and prestige that goes with it had a lot to do with this, I think another factor had a lot to do with CL's rage that Kurt had feelings for Kristen. IMHO, while they might not have been romantically involved, to me it sure looked like it was headed that way. She was a woman with whom he could collaborate musically - she was the real deal as a musician - and he was approaching an age where perhaps he might have wanted a relationship based on things that are were more meaningful and based on common interests. The body language on that poor girl during the interview with Hole (where CL is holding Frances) was so telling. The hunched way she was sitting, crossed arms and legs the shoulder up like a wall to CL. You could tell she was miserable. As for her friend who didn't check on her, who would imagine that someone was going to (alledgedly) kill your friend? Regardless, he should have checked on her and he'll have to live with that. He was negligent. My heart goes out to Kristen's mother. She knew in her core her daughter was in danger. So sad.

As a young female bass player in the 90s, Kristen was an idol of mine. Her story is so heartbreaking...and suspicious.

They were watching her apartment. The friend in the truck has the same screwy story as the people at Kurt's house the night he was murdered. They were all threatened to the point they won't even talk today. He cut the phone line. Premeditated murder. They got away with it 2 months prior. C would have had every detail planned just like Kurt. Maybe Kristin recorded her thoughts on Kurt's murder. Is it more likely that she didn't want to continue with Hole to protect her sobriety or because she knew Kurt was murdered & was like no fucking way am I going to tour with a murderer?

Agreed! THIS is way more likely the motive. There’s DEF something Kristen knew cuz of the torn pages (diary entries which were the days of the week Kurt went “missing” up thru his death) in her diary. They knew she was aware of something(s) that they could NOT allow to become public knowledge. They couldn’t allow her to potentially and most likely expose what they desperately needed to keep secret. Possibly incriminating, but at the very least, i suspect there mayve been info of Kurt telling her that he’s divorcing Courtney, that he couldnt stand her and how psychotic she is. Something along those lines. Info abt divorcing DESTROYS EVERYFKNTHING for Courtney’s career/life. The money, the INFLUENCE she gained from being Kurts wife. The whole generation of that music would’ve discovered the true psychotic repulsion of Courtney. I mean most already knew regardless, but it wouldve been on a whole other level if Kurt was able to get the chance to divorce her.
Courtneys BFF coroner didn’t even do any autopsy or toxicology report. THATS FKN INSANE

Edit- And yeah, I agree as a friend of someone I think anyone would have followed Erlandson into that apartment and stayed the entire time he was there. I've had alot of friends struggle with addiction, myself included, and would never leave a newly sober friend in that situation.
Kristen didn’t “make” them look ridiculous. She knew she had to get the hell out of dodge. I don’t even believe she would of had the band dude (I forgot his name)over to shoot up if she had any sense at all.

I can’t thank you enough for getting all of this out into the open in your well spoken and articulated form. You try to tell people about this stuff and their eyes glaze over, you have an ability to put this depth of knowledge in your head out in a way that most of us just can’t in an easy to follow track of thinking.
That makes sense, long daily conversations can and will shake many skeletons loose. If she paid someone to pack for her, the story would be different.
There are other explanations that are very plausible for how Kristen died that aren’t as conspiratorial. Such as the phone in her apartment had been disconnected already, and she called her bandmate and probably Eric from another line somewhere else. Pay phones were everywhere and people had long distance calling cards. She might have used a neighbor’s phone. Who knows?
It could also be that she still had drugs and usage paraphernalia stashed in her apartment in a cosmetic bag, and she found them while she was emptying the place out. That certainly could be true.
The weird part is her travel companion leaving her alone like that. That doesn’t make much sense. It is more likely that they both were intoxicated and she ended up drowning or overdosing while he was out of it as well.
And it isn’t that uncommon to find the cops being extremely uncaring about how people who use drugs die, especially back then, and super especially in the crack den parts of larger cities where this stuff is happening all the time.
CL and EE aside, I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Dave Geffen was in on both deaths. I've heard stories of many musician's demises after getting on Geffen's bad side.
I'm convinced that entire industry in
"in on it" so to speak. Hundreds of Millions of $ allows them power and influence. Kurt was walking away from Nirvana,costing D.Geffen's label their biggest band.

He is known to be ruthless and has his own group of henchmen who make sure those on his label comply with the contract or will pay physically, mentally and financially for any awol musicians, screw ups, delays, or any corporate loss of dollars due to insubordination. Rumors of his paybacks have floated around for years giving him a hardcore spooky reputation. With his millions approaching trillions he lets his artists know he can run his business anyway he likes. Where does a big*ss elephant lay down? Anywhere it wants to and what you gonna do about it?

I was holidaying in Greece from the UK in '94 when I heard the sad news of Kurt's murder on MTV in the hotel room, I'd have been 13. The next day I'm wearing my green 'In Utero' shirt and a Greek guy started pointing at it, giving a thumbs up, etc. I'll never forget it.
*I didn't know it was murder then but remember feeling none of it made sense.
Kristen's life would make an awesome movie. I'm serious. This has everything a movie about the industry needs out there. If it was done with integrity and no outside influence, it would be incredible.
It’s really sad bc back then it was like if You had an addiction and you died they just called it your fault and that was it! They literally didn’t take the time in either case to do the most basic forensic work! All I know is both cases are extremely suspicious. Nobody can deny that!
Hate to break it to you.ive been a heroin addict of 15 years bout four years clean now.its still that way for the most part.its really sad had some friends go in suspicious circumstances and every time it was either accidentally overdosed or committed suicide.they don't care about the poor and disenfranchised

When I lived on Capitol Hill, I had numerous people tell me about Courtney love chasing Mary Lou Lord down the street with a frying pan, saying something to the effect of "You leave my man alone!!"
I think you might go a little too far when you say CL was copying Kristen make-up (I remember when you first suggested this in another video), but I think you're spot on about everything else.
One thing though: Kristen's friend might have known that she's used to falling asleep in a bath from Kristen herself through conversation.

What I remember of Cobain's passing was Courtney pitching her album to tv reporter before his body was cold. I found that bizarre.
Presumably it will come up in the next video, but you didn't mention Courtney's thoughts regarding Kristen & Kurt's bond. Maybe Kristen wasn't actually on the way to becoming Frances's stepmother (what a sweet thought), but Courtney sure thought something was amiss.

Kristen story is so tragic. Even if it wasn't with explicitly criminal intentions, it's pretty clear who should have been questioned as the source for the drugs. And I don't condemn drug usage per se (to each their own decisions), but taking drugs to someone who is clearly set on leaving that live behind is just horrible, worthy of hell. Hope Kristen gets justice. I have little to no interest in reading biographies, even of people I admire a lot, but I'll try to get my hands on hers, Kristen's life deserves to be celebrated.
Always knew about the Pfaff connection. But you know the deep details. That’s where it’s even more clear that CL and that goon in her band somehow had a hand in both Kurt and Pfaff's fates. Where there is smoke, there’s almost always a fire. And there are columns of smoke coming from the details. I’ve never trusted or liked CL since day one. Something has always seemed really darkly off about her. And this makes even more sense. The only way I see her having this much ability to bend power to her bidding, is her being really friendly with some very dark, very powerful people. Otherwise she would have never gotten away with all this. You can clearly see how it looks when you look at pfaffs deep details and connect it with all the other details around Kurts demise. Something is going on there for sure. And it’s definitely dark. But unfortunately like with JFK, the more time goes on, the less chance the real truth will be generally known. I hope it does one day come all out. I sense it’s there.

Kurt Cobain was 2 years older than me. My friends and I looked at his success, the success of his music, as validating what we were doing and I'm not saying we were anywhere near as good. Where we were from in NC doesn't seem like a far cry from Aberdeen, WA. I loved the Man, it was heartbreaking thinking he checked out. Coming from a family with a history of murder; a man murdered my Grandfather a month or two before I started the 6th grade, because they thought he had money he didn't. So, I hate when I hear of murders much less money motivated murders. I hate to think that even may have happened to Cobain. What really makes me sick is that it doesn't sound out of the realm of possibility. If nothing else he was somebody's son/brother/father and deserves a proper investigation rather than lazy, cynical police saying, "Yeah, this is the guy. The missing person. His wife said he was suicidal. Cause of death: suicide." They are supposed to say: did he see anyone? Did anyone have a problem w him that might want him dead? Who were his friends? Who were his enemies? Let's talk to the family. Then allow for toxicology and autopsy then all come together and give cause of death. Never is any police force in the U.S. supposed to declare it on the spot. Keep up the good work, Brotherman!!!✊❤️☝️

I cannot remember where I read it, but I read an article that said that Caitlin Moore was also a confidential informant/snitch. She had a different handler than Courtney. Anyway, this article was saying that because Caitlin Moore was an informant also, and as long as she keeps snitching, she could basically do what she wanted, which was sell heroin.

Who within the SPD and who had connections to this case particularly the narcotics angle had contacts and or were involved with the heroin trade within the Seattle area/Puget Sound/Pacific Northwest? Especially if that person or those people had contact with the users/mules/dealers within that music community at the time… someone is willing to travel overseas and make connections for potential human sex trafficking, what other connections were they making while abroad? Or services were they willing to provide for delivery/sales within the aforementioned music community…?

As an ex-heroin addict, I have to say that the temptation to use "one last time" before you move far away forever would be HUGE. Eric was her heroin connection. She had only been clean a couple of weeks, that's nothing. Sounds like she told Paul that she wanted to take a bath so she could have some privacy to do some dope. It's a junky cliche to go to detox, get a little clean time, and then relapse and die because you don't have the same tolerance you had before the detox. Many have died this way.
You don't lose tolerance to opiates in just 2 weeks, believe me I know from experience.

Bro.. I was a heroin addict for 15 years and if you go to detox for two weeks and come out, your tolerance is absolutely not the same as before you detoxed. I personally know a few people who have died this way.
If I don't take morphine for just one week my tolerance pretty much halves.
But it does take a long time for tolerance to high doses to really come down. Two weeks is enough for a big change though. And everyone is different.

I read someplace that Nick Hartshorne didn’t even do a toxicology on Kristen and hollered suicide at first, I don’t know if this is even true. Kinda funny he did that to Kurt too except the toxicology did happen with his death

Don't you find it odd that both Kurt and Kristen both wanted to pull out of tours? I think there is something to this as well, even iggy pop mentioned when talking about Kurt. The death might of been a way to show control, when there was no control left. Dead men and woman don't argue about contracts or tours. First, Paul didn't have to know that Eric was heading to Kirsten apartment. Second, Kirsten had to open the door, at least the bathroom's door or it would have been broken... If Eric forced the heroin into her, he had to use something to make her unconscious, and he had to put her back in the bath. Otherwise, how do you explain the OD in both Kurt and Kirsten cases? Somebody else had to introduce it into their bodies.
I think maybe he didn't confront Eric because he didn't want to cause issues with anyone and stress Kristen out or cause her anymore hassle or issues with anyone in Seattle than there already had been or maybe it become serious and cops get involved and cause Kristen to deal with legal type of issues or just even be present while something like that were taking place. But that's just what I think could possibly be a possibility but I don't know so I stay open minded to the possibilities. But he should have still gotten out to be present just to make sure he didn't try to mess up her sobriety. And just because someone falls asleep in the bathtub does mess you should just leave them be even if someone is just asleep in the bathtub and completely sober they still can drown and people have before. And maybe if the line could be connected or disconnected from the back of the phone she may have unattached it herself after making the call because she didn't want people there to be calling her if they knew she was there because she didn't want to talk to or see them and altho I doubt it because then he could have just connected it again and called but it could be possible that she hadn't payed the bill knowing she was leaving and they cut service off of it and some phone companies can do it without anyone coming and having to do anything they can just cut service off from the company like cell phones today bur idk how phones exactly were in the 90s cause I was so young and didn't have one but like I said I doubt that happend and it was that that coincidentally i think there was possible foul play. And I do believe courtney gave Eric the bag with the drugs to give to her.

I think Eric was in her apartment to get that diary. THe pages ripped out were from the first week of April. I suspect she had documented in the diary that she had talked with Eric and told him she was in love with Kurt. i think there was damaging info in those pages that were ripped out. he probably got her to nod off so he could read the diary and do his investigative work.
I wouldn't be shocked if Erlandson was the guy if there was anything planned with regard to cobains death.

Old school Speedballs take me back; from high-end to street dealers it was very common to sell blow & dope together. For the real bad broke addicts they'd commonly buy a dime of both. H on the west coat was mostly Black Tar, SWIM found China a few times randomly. Here's a stab in the dark: Pfaff thought she was getting a bag of blow & a bag of china. She mixed them up in the spoon not knowing that both bags were China & OD'd. Purely speculation but you never know. Did KP have blow in her system? Speedballs are now Fent/ meth. Way more dangerous & not very good. You can't even find H not cut w/Fent these days or clean blow. Don't do this combo, it feels kinda gross & dangerous AF. Be safe
