We were fortunate to see Forestella in California last year. They opened with this song. We were stunned at the power and quality of singing. Simply phenomenal group! Never experienced anything like this . I have watched Pentatonix live as well. I have to say I like Forestella’s way better. The only improvement I hope to see at the next Forestella US concert is them singing with a live band. Hope they can afford to travel with their band.

They perform with live bands in Korea!! I have been in Forestella concerts twice in Korea and once in Vancouver. I heard it costs a lot and has some difficulties to bring the whole band to the US. I hope Forestella gets world-wide famous so that they could do whatever they want to do, including world-tour with whole their live bands!

the countertenor of forestella is truly impressive. sounds very organic, not forced, when he sings in his sopranic voice. have you checked "nella fantasia?" it's one of their performances that showcases the countertenor's voice.
Love your reactions to Forestella. Cho Mingyu has spoken a few times about Kang Hyungho having an amazing ear. He knows how every note is suppose to sound and trained himself how to hit the notes from low to high. He can sing in at least 3 octaves easily. ❤❤❤❤

I have been to the Forestella concert twice in Korea and I must say it was an amazing experience. These guys are professional and they put in a lot of time and effort into perfecting their art. They practiced and did the sound check for hours before the performance. It was a great experience to be able to attend their concert and I’ll do so again the the future. I went to their concert in Atlanta February of last year. It was fabulous! The head voice is almost always Kang Hyung Ho. You may want to react to his rendition of the Phantom of the opera, truly amazing!

I also saw them live in California last January (2023). When Hyung ho (last name is Kang) performed Phantom of the Opera I don’t think I breathed the whole time! When they sang Bohemian Rhapsody-seriously they are just like what you see and hear in their music videos. I am looking forward to the day they come back to the US (with Woorim) and can perform at one of the larger venues with a live band!

Kang Hyungho with the highest voice never actually took any classes, I'm sure he still put in work, but the judges were so surprised that he never trained at all! The one with your favourite tone is Bae Doohoon a musical actor!

I saw them in Atlanta! It was amazing. I had just found them and bought tickets on a whim. I hadn’t even heard half the songs they performed at the concert, but I loved every single one, which never happens. The only other artists that I can say I love all of their songs are Dimash, Zhou Shen, and Ayunga.

"It was him" 🤣 He's Kang Hyung-Ho. He is actually the one member of Forestella who had no vocal training prior to the show creating Forestella. He was a Research Chemist, who sang part time, in a Rock band.

Recommend you check out Kang Hyung-Ho singing Phantom of the Opera. There are two early versions. One when he was first auditioning. (So, the one with no vocal training). 😮 Then there is a slightly later one after a little vocal training training. 😮

@@Pittajoah I have to admit Ko WooRim's voice is the one which hits me. But, Kang vouce is something extremely rare (perhaps even rarer than WooRim's). And, as time has gone on, I genuinely love each of their voices, individually for their own strengths and their ability to blend.

I've seen forestella more than 50 times by now and let me tell you.. they never disappoint. Even after this many times I still get goosebumps every time and champions live. EVEN. BETTER. trust me. Just the feeling when you're actually there is overwhelming. I really hope they'll do a tour again when Woorim is back!! Thank you for reacting so often to Fore and hopefully we all get a chance to see them live someday because live is just another level!

The intro part is from UEFA Champions League theme song in French, German and English which brought the melody from UK coronation anthem Zadok the Priest by Handel.
Forestella mashed it up in the intro but the main song is Jo SuMi's Champions which was one of 2002 Korea-Japan World Cup anthems. Funny thing is Jo SuMi's Champions is much more well-known to Korean people unlike the Champs league theme much more well-known to westerners (and football fans all over the world). If you give a try to listen to Jo SuMi's original Champions, you would understand how well they mash-up those songs.
This song is one of their must-hear-in-live songs which has a big gap from what you hear in the videos. When I heard it for the first time, I couldn't help but giving standing ovation immediately. Another must-hear-in-live songs; Moonlit Night of Shilla, Parla piu piano, Unwritten Legend, We are the Champions, Lazenca Save us, Save our lives, etc. Actually every song sounds better in live, these were more surprising to me like dramatically.

The place where they perform is the Oscars in Korea. Korean actors often ignore the singers performing at the ceremony and do not respond intentionally. This has received a lot of criticism. Also, the preparation of the stage is very poor, making it very unsuitable for live performances. It's the worst performance they've ever performed with the same song. Yes I did go to their concert. I remember telling the guy next to me if you put those 4 in one guy you’d get Dimash, but then it wouldn’t be possible to hear all these fantastic harmonies. But there was one solo that I almost burst into laughter (actually disbelief) before he even opened his mouth (“NOOOOOO! Like is this actually happening???!!!!!”) when I saw soprano Pitta’s cover of The Phantom of The Opera (the Phantom and Christine, both parts). He kept fiddling with his in-ear and I wondered if he was struggling with all the flipping back & forth or if those things are adjustable.

Unfortunately, this video doesn't have good acoustics. Actually one of FORESTELLA's most impressive performances, especially from a technical point of view. What a POWER - when you consider that there are only 4 people singing here but they sound like a choir of 40. You should also definitely react "INNER UNIVERSE" - that's the NEXT LEVEL!!! With even MORE IMPRESSIVE HIGH's AND LOW's
Listen to Zhou Shen a chinese singer who is a natural male soprano . During puberty his voice did not break so he did not have to train his voice for the soprano range . He trained at music school as a tenor and has a range of C3 to F6 . PLease react to him you willl not be disapointed.
