Peso ABSOLUTELY falls off the beat on PURPOSE. I've been listening for like a year and a half, it caught me off guard at first but it's definitely his style to slip off beat and stay on beat at the same time. its crazy masterful.
The song is already crazy as a track itself, but the semi direct and the many indirect Berserk references make it even harder
Can’t get into it all but for example, Ty Wild’s verse had a ‘Hawk’ and ‘Fly’ theme. He was rapping as himself but also the character Griffith from Berserk who’s the leader of a group called the Band of the Hawk and Griffith ends up becoming a ‘demon’ with wings so a bunch of his miscellaneous lines are references to that
And Peso was rapping as himself mostly but also the character Guts. There was a lot to catch there too but the simplest ones to get are references to Gut’s giant sword which cuts souls/your ‘essence’ in the manga
