Hi Experience JAPAN 👋🏼 In America crane games aren’t as popular but only bc they really do make it impossible to win anything! You could easily spend $20 on one game and still win nothing! It’s frustrating and expensive. Therefore, most ppl just avoid them here bc we know they are corrupted by the owners😞 Ppl need an incentive to play and with most crane games here, there is no incentive bc you very rarely win. There are most definitely no crane game pros in America that I’ve ever heard of … Thank you for the fun, unique, entertaining and interesting content 🙏🏼
Btw if anyone wants a Japanese arcade experience here in the US go to Round1 Bowling & Amusement. There are 107 Round1s in Japan since it’s from there. In fact, this arcade looks like a Round1. There are also tons of Round1s across the US and one in China. It’s the best arcade. They have a huge row or multiple rows of Japanese arcade games. If you happen to live in SoCal the Burbank Round1 has a huge selection of Japanese arcade games.
I LOVED the gummy tree at the end 🥰 We have absolutely nothing like that in America 🇺🇸 All the candies at the end … were super rad 🤩🥳🫶🏻👏🏼 The gummy caviar .. very unique!! Thank you for sharing this post w us 😻
Thank you so much for your enthusiastic response! I'm thrilled you enjoyed the gummy tree and the unique candies. It's always fun to share these interesting finds. Looking forward to bringing more unique content to you!
Blue Raspberry and Grape are my favorites ❤ The 5 Below in my hometown sells the flavors separately, so i demolish their grape supply on a regular basis~
Neru neru nerune nostalgia! Also, 1 tall box begets a small bag of candy .. while it is unfeasible to fill the box with sweets, there is still a tiny part within wishing it was chock full of hi-chews.
i like that you leave the fails in too, my kids like to watch ur stuff and it shows that u dont always win in 1 try. And yes its hugely popular flavor of hi chew im eating them now haha
glad to see someone being honest about the taste of those kits, very much my entire childhood, i always made my parents eat them because I hated the taste!
It's refreshing to hear someone else had the same experience! Sharing those moments with family, even if it involves making them eat something you didn't like, is a funny and memorable part of growing up.
It was bewildering watching claw machines and sweets, don’t think people in the UK would have so much patience to make their own sweets, living a fast paced life. Claw machines are not that popular over here, they mainly have cuddly toys if you find one. Thank you for showing us
Do u know the average workload and life rush of a typical person in Tokyo? U wanna talk fast.. how do u think these techs constantly evolve and have maintenance.
Often times it could be because the machine hasn't reached it's "payout" yet. Basically, arcade machine owners can set the claw to fully grip once the machine has made a certain amount of money
I recently was able to grab this fantasy mix from hichew and I can say I love them 💙 from your new friend in the USA 👏👏👏 nice wins and I appreciate the English captions to understand certain foods and drinks as well as plush characters in Japan
Greetings from England. I absolutely love your channel. It's my favourite on the whole internet. I want to visit Japan now. Especially loved the food vending machines at the tyre place, and I want a vending machine pizza. We have nothing this good in England. Keep up the good work. 👏💯
Thanks so much for your kind words! I'm thrilled you enjoy the videos. My favorite sweet has to be chocolate - it's a classic! Stay tuned for more fun in the next one
Been watching a lot of crane content this year. Sadly there are nearly none of these machines left in my country. They have such a bad reputation that no one wants to waste money on them. I like what Japan has done with more fair setups and cheap rewards so that you get an experience at least, although some are also awful and set up to drain money, especially mini-claw machines with small items. If I’m ever fortunate enough to visit Japan I’ll be sure to spend a day in such a place :)
Growing up in the US, during the 90s, there were a lot of those money-sink impossible ones. Those are so bad. I'd rather get a small cheap toy or SOMETHING. I'm not sure if claw machine reputations have changed since I was kid, but back then, they were more or less considered a waste of money and something you'd take a kid to do on their birthday or some special occasion (where you'd be spending money, anyway).
@@ElysetheEevee They’re still bad but more fair now that things can be poked or shoved. My country is tiny but I know there are many major arcades that also have a lot of crane games in the US. Although it’s a huge country, it’s still feasible to take a day trip or come across one :D
These sorts of things are fascinating to me because you can get quite a lot of enjoyment of culture through foods and snacks, but its really not so common in North America to see Crane Game machines full of snacks like this. It seems deceptively affordable to play I'm sure, the snacks are likely much cheaper to just go pick up from a shop, but you're also paying for the enjoyment and thrill of the game and I think that makes it unique.
I love this so much!!! It's so cool to see such well maintained claw machines -- I'm from Canada and I've never seen one so shiny. ✨ I would love to see more commentary about the flavours or textures of the food! Even if it's personal bias / random chatter I love to see what the treats taste like!!
Nice video, new subscribers here, I remember 29 years ago i always spent a lot of money in claw machine 😂 won a lot of stuff toys 😊. Keep making videos good luck
Thank you so much for subscribing! It’s great to hear about your claw machine memories. I’ll definitely keep making videos, and I appreciate your support. Good luck to you too!
I don't think I've ever done a crane game (maybe one or two along the way). The cranes seem so deliberately weak, I don't know how anyone ever wins some of them! You won't need to buy candy for quite a while. The one where the flavors "are popular in America" seems pretty funny...I've never even heard of the candy, never mind the flavors! Lol Thank you for the entertaining video and watching you feed machines! 😂 The educational candy is interesting. It looked like fun chemistry!
Hi-Chew is definitely popular here, but generally rhe flavors I always see are the basic orange, green, purple, etc. I don't see the blue raspberry or other ones mentioned here. I'd love to, though, as blue raspberry is one of my favorite flavors!
9:14 Omg those look like Pampers baby wipes😂. Idk if Japan has baby wipes that resemble that Kirby box, but in the US we have baby wipes that resemble that with the white background and pastel lettering
Your encouragement means a lot to me! Thank you for appreciating the effort. It's viewers like you that keep me motivated. More great content coming your way!
Yes, that is a very popular flavor of Hi-Chew in America. There’s a gas station within a short distance of my house, where I buy it. I think that I still have some…☺️
I’ve been playing the newer Yakuza games and had no idea, until now, that the claw machine games IRL had the same music and sounds and everything! 😄 That’s incredible and must mean Yakuza is fairly accurate lol. Btw I think there might be a Round 1 somewhat close to my city in the US; I’ll have to check it out now! Just found this channel and I like your explanations and descriptions very much! Take care!
Hi-Chew isn’t that popular in the USA in general. I usually only see it in stores that sell Asian products. Rarely it is available in common grocery stores. I can’t comment how popular those particular flavors are here because I’m not really a candy person, but blue raspberry is generally a pretty common flavor over here. I loved the game at the beginning that clapped. It’s a genius way to make the game stand out among a bunch of other, similar games
I love hi-chews but have never seen those flavors before. Might be because I live in a small town though. Would love to try to go into the city and find them!
I think Hi-Chews are definitely gaining popularity in the US. I’ve seen some people in the comments say they’re rare, but where I live pretty much every convenience store has them. Fantasy mix is pretty popular here, or at least that and tropical mix are always the two mixes I see here in the states, as well as grape in individual sleeves.
That looks like a lot of fun. I think I would love to do that. Try it sometime. I heard that there are like purses and backpacks and towels and pens and some other things besides the stuff animals and candy. Have you ever played the other ones before I am from Youngstown, OhioAmerica
Hi-chew is not an American candy, but can be found in the US. We typically have a similar candy called Starburst. Starburst consists of fruity flavors. Sherbert flavored anything isn't common and seldom seen in the states. We do have sherbert ice-cream though. The ice-cream is yummy! Sometimes it's mixed with soda to make sherbert party punch.
