I've ridden Fire in the Hole many times down through the years. Evidently, the person who put the sound effects together didn't know that the Bob White Quail does not sing at night. A Whippoorwill singing or an Owl hooting would have been more appropriate. Hopefully, they will get it right on the new ride.

The Dollywood theme park in Sevierville Tennessee use to be The Silver Dollar City theme park. It was a hillbilly culture theme park. And they would have a feud between two families in the middle of the street for the people who had paid to come in and enjoy the park. It was very similar to this place. It was closed when Parton bought it and built her theme park.

1962 was when it opened up. The fire in hole. Which I bet I rode a million times. It didn't used to go so fast it let you see the theme of it.

Just heard the new "Fire in the Hole" ride is not that much different than the old one.
I’m excited to ride it. I have season tickets but haven’t gone yet.
