I love the drums and I own the Catalina maples. They really are impressive, and a great value. But PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, get rid of the darn AI voice. Those are so annoying.

@@musicessences that’s awesome you totally should! I’m new to all this and was trying to buy a drum set, this was a huge help. I ended up getting a mapex 5p set redwood. I really wish I could find help with “tuning”. After building it all it sounds….not great lol. Staying positive and I just keep trying lol, I figure it out eventually.
What about the Gretsch Broadcaster?
Ringo got no monetary benefit from all the Ludwig sales. He could have learnt a lot from Buddy Rich, regarding endorsements…
So, if there was no licensing agreement then why did Ivor Arbiter, the owner of the shop where Ringo bought his first Ludwig kit, get to redesign the Beatles logo emphasizing the word Beat with the drop 'T'?
Tempting-more research needed before parting with cash. Snare and kick sound great…tom sound is a preference thing…both rather “boingy”…..
The video is very useful and beautiful, but I recommend leaving a part of the video for each drum where you can clearly hear the demo sound of each shell after the description ❤

It passes from generation to generation. I'm playing a Ludwig kit because I saw the guy from Brontide playing one in their "Sans Souci" session. Although, mine is one of those Taiwanese built Centennial Moto kits with the 24" kick, 16" / 18" floor toms, 13" rack tom that do not seem to want to stay in tune lolol
