I've learned if you wanna turn off your hamstrings you have to do a standing quad stretch works very well so stretched the quads 1st then the hamstrings

You say you should stretch your hamstrings, but I have APT and you say I shouldn't stretch the hamstrings? What should I do? Should I stretch them prior to glute training or not?

If you APT you shouldn't stretch your hamstring

My hamstring on the right cramps after 10+ reps on that test. Does that still sound like dominance. Thanks

Could you possibly make a video on Myofascial release?
In my case, I used to over stretch my hamstrings way too often, particularly at home when the muscles were still cold. And after some research I've realised that I might've actually done some damage :/
It would be great if you could help me out with this.
Your videos have already helped me heaps with other issues I've had, and I'm really grateful for your content!
    Cheers👍

He has done several. For hamstrings use a lacrosse ball, place it on you hamstring while sitting on a chair and extend and flex your leg.

So, I have synergistic dominance for my hamstrings (which you said to stretch/release for) . But I also have apt, for which you are not supposed to stretch the hamstrings (in your other video) but do need to strengthen the glutes/hammies. Seem to be in a conundrum...

You're saying that squats aren't good for glute training but can't you squeeze your glutes on the concentric part where you get up from it?

  • @IntoBlackHouse

If leg presses, squats, and lunges aren't good exercises to build up the glutes, then what are? Besides the hip thrust.

I have a huge question: I do squats and can't progress beyond a certain weight because the stress and pain I feel in my knees as well as my tricep/back of neck area from the bar makes it feel uncomfortable. I've been at the same weight (45 on either side of the barbell) for months and months and it's like the limit. I'm a guy in my early 20s and in good shape. My physical therapist says I have tight IT bands but I'm not sure...
I want to grow my glutes but this issue doesn't let me move up in weight and challenge my glutes more.
