  • Kemi Badenoch Justifies her stance against Nigerian Government; since becoming the leader of the conservative party of the United Kingdom (UK), Kemi has been at loggerheads with some Nigerians who think her being factual about her experiences while in Nigeria is an unpatriotic behaviour. A lot have also argued in her favour; they believe that open rebuke is better than secret love. Kemi is just a Nigerian and other Nigerians who think they have different experiences from hers are free to voice theirs out instead of try to force on her what to say or not to say. Her anger is not against Nigerians per se but bad governance and corrupt government officials. Instead of protect the citizens, they have used the instrument of the state against their own citizens. It didn’t start with Tinubu. A lot of opposition supporters, like Peter Obi and Atiku supporters, have queued behind her thinking she was standing only against the current government. Her anger predates Bola Ahmed Tinubu Government. She believes that the UK government needs to be strong with their conservative measures, else, they slide into the mud and poverty like Nigeria.

I'm a big fan of Kemi, she criticizes without fear nor favour, like one of the discussant said, we are a product of our experiences.
She speaks more about the ills of the Nigerian society because it's actually about all there is to talk about on a daily.

Nigeria leaders should take a second look at Kemi 's statement and look inward.

If the Nigerian government could not listen to PO and his advices but rather pounced on him, then KB has nothing to say because nothing she'll say now, will be taken by this government. I rest my case

Politicians in Nigeria are not there to fix the problems but to keep the problems in place-to be picked up as talking points as and when it is opportune to do so.

Unfortunately, Nigeria is programmed to fail. You guys should save your voices and make sure you secure your children's future abroad. A dual nationality will do.
