I like smooth treble. I'm very intolerant of shouty upper mids or excessive "sparkle." Usually whenever I hear the word "detail" mentioned, it's just manufacturers abusing the treble tuning to fool people into thinking they're hearing more than their set is capable of.
They look pretty good as well.

OG Vesper suffered from driver flex syndrome. I hope they fixed that issue with 2nd edition.

I haven't experienced any driver flex with mine. It's unlikely that I will do the T10 - got too much backlog and an upcoming holiday.

Nice review. It's down to this or epz k5 at this point, for this round.. I am after tone and timbre, I am a 'timbrehead'... I want textured mellifluous mids with decent note weight, layered bass with the resonant/harmonic stuff kind of there, light airy smooth treble.. What do you think?
I haven't tried the k5 but epz makes some great iems. My Q1 Pro review is dropping in a few days.
@@PrimeAudioReviews About the Vesper, I just heard Akros saying there was a problem with driver flex, and that at high volumes the DD did not keep up well, basically bagging out.. Comments?

I got the vespa 2 3 days ago for my collection . No idea what happen. Sounds like dd drivers are broken. After a 60db volume. The drivers spits rumble like he'll. So much distortion that I can't ear the music. Or the drivers are broken or there is no air inside. Trying to return them. Worse iem in my collection. Something is really wrong with mine. I tried at max volume. The vibration sound was so much that I could not hear the music.

@PrimeAudioReviews big time. The only way I know its vesper 2 it's in the box. And because I got it from Ali express I need to spend the same amount to sent it to replace. Hate ali. Next time amazon is better
debating between this and the simgot ea500, looking for a comfy iem that i can listen to all day long. i do like stronger bass and listen more to hip hop and jazz. what would you recommend?
For all day listening, I'd say this would be better.
