Why isn't Boeing CEO sitting there answering these questions?

    • @tomhahn6792

He's spending all of his time firing up EDI at his company. I'm wary of the new maintenance DEI hires. And CEO should be flying on a Boeing airliner every dam day.

The Boeing whistle blower happens to kill himself before his court date

No it was a few days after court. He was still there for depositions. Pretty ballsy to take him out after the fact.

      Yup, just a coincidence

Under this administration I wouldn't step foot into a public aircraft. FJB

I guess it don’t matter how many retaining bolts are used to secure it (only 4???) if you don’t even bother to make sure they’re even there 😱

Yah , I agree , the problem comes down to the essembler on the assembly line .

Imagine the door blew out in one of the earlier 154 flights. At 33,000 ft! The aircraft and all passengers would have been lost.

there was a video on an Australian show that investigated that company and how they couldnt get sections to bolt together so they went to the vendor and noticed big issues. the company sent the quality inspectprs pack and I think told them they would be fired and yep Boeing did for calling out the issues they found,, Scary to hear

Well , um it’s usual to go to your supervisor to notifie them of these stupid mistakes . And the engineers have figure out why their plans didn’t match up . This happens when the different parts of the plane are manufactured in separate parts of the world . Now why the inspectors didn catch this glitch , is anyone’s guess .

i mean that security footage is overwritten after 30 days is perfectly reasoanble. That isn't a nuclear missile silo or something.
    The documents not so much.

    Whistleblower found dead
John Barnett, 62, who reported safety problems at Boeing, died on Saturday from an apparent “self-inflicted” wound, according to a coroner in the state of South Carolina in the United States.

They need to stop certifying any planes coming out of that plant. Stop them right now and stop them indefinitely.
This is a coverup! If they are going to coverup like this on an accidental door blowout that did not kill anyone, what would they be willing to cover up in a real serious accident with fatalities!

    • @jamesbeemer7855

      Oh that’s a new one .
I’m thinking they were pushing this aircraft out the door as fast as they could , sacrificing quality , in favor of quantity . Um ,
Do you get the idea that the Chinese had an influence in this matter ?
There is a manufacture process called , JUST IN TIME .
And that program stipulates that you build only as fast as the demand , so nothing sits on the shelf for too long . When parts are delayed in the delivery process , you can’t complete your assembly . Until those parts show up . The whole assembly process is thrown off schedule when this happens . I lost a couple of jobs because of someone else’s negligence .

Yah , Boeing messed up .
But the top officials aren’t the problem . It’s the assembler that needs to be looked at . The government can argue with the union about it , but in the end , it’s the guy holding the wrench , you gotta look at .
That incedent may have happened more times . But I’m glad they caught it .

Yes and no, that would also be the fault of management and upper management to a degree depending on the pressure placed on the employees to get that product out the door and if safety checks were forcibly skipped at managements call.

    • @jamesbeemer7855
      @jamesbeemer7855 2 місяці тому

Oh , I’m not saying the blame is on just one person . A company is a joint effort between everyone . So there are a lot of contributing factors . But in the end , did the assembler in line to do the door plugs , know what they were doing and why it was being done that way ? @@richardslayton1985
