You can't have Too much firepower...........he picked up a pea shooter compared to the RPG he picked up in the second one. I was expecting Billy to find a Moab to use.
Dude... i can't believe i am saying this, but after i watched the movie for the first time, it felt like i was watching a good old 80s/90s summer blockbuster. Never had hope i'd get to experience that feel again. Absolutely amazing. I felt like i was 8, 9, 10 yo again, consuming the frames with childlike joy. The cinematography, the sound design, the soundtrack... Simply masterpiece of filmmaking.
Definitely a welcome blast from the past. Hate to sound old but they really don't (usually) make films like this now, not that I don't like them, just seems some of the "magic" has gone. Really hope the new 'Lethal Weapon' follows the same path... Damn, I am old!😂
I didn't feel the same as you but, I thought it was a worthwhile fully great sequel 😂Me and my mum laughed our asses off. I hoped beyond doubt that the movie would be great and not just meh, I was so happy when it was great!
How much fun is this? Eddie Murphy’s daughter is one of the cops that arrest him in the beginning of the movie in Beverly Hills. His son is one of the cops that handcuffs him at the drug bust at the bar.
Joseph Gordon Levitt said that they hired a french pilot who is an expert with flying helicopters to do the whole helicopter stunt sequence in downtown Los Angeles.
That was a good action scene. If they'd used CG, I would have been furious. This felt like an 80s action movie. No, it's not great, but it's what it needed to be. A nostalgia trip.
It was great having Axel and the gang back in action! I had high expectations for this movie, and they didn't disappoint. I think it was just the right amount of nostalgia, action, humor, and heart.
I watched this movie when I came out on Netflix the other day and completely fell in love with it. I am having such a blast watching you three watching this movie that I am literally having the same feel good moment again so thank you guys appreciate it so much.😊
I just watched this with my mom yesterday and we both enjoyed it! She's in love with the first three films and wanted to watch this one with me to bond over her nostalgia for the series 😊 she's also the reason I named my bearded dragon Axel
Just for you, Andrew. Throughout the movie, they have sprinkled iconic music from. I think all three Beverly Hills cop movies to pay homage to the series
Being in this business and relevant 40 years later has gotta be a proud thing for Eddie. He has grown and came so far. Most careers don't last that long
I believe this film is the original bad boys because of Eddie Murphys performance my favorite part of this film is the chase inside the snowplow 😅 awesome 👍😎
The snowplow chase scene in Detroit during the beginning of the film mirrors to the Cement truck chase and the only thing that was different was we didn't get to hear "Are you driving with your eyes open, or are you using the Force?" which would've been nice.
Yes! I noticed when I heard that synth beat. I was thinking there's no way this is just a coincidence. I loved watching that show, too! I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed that.
@clintbrew I agree. It would be great to see those make a comeback. But if/when they do, those in charge of production should take notes from the people who produced this as well as 'Top Gun: Maverick'. They apparently have got the right stuff to bring these 80's properties back.
I'm glad you guys actually saw the movie and actually paid close attention to it and they brought Beverly hills cop back to it's roots plus sense I first saw this movie days after that I've heard positive reviews and negative reviews mostly positive reviews but the people with all the negative reviews obviously didn't pay attention to the movie and took the time to really understand it like you guys so I respect you guys for that keep up the great work
I'll be honest, I went in with low expectations (because that's the best way to go into a movie) and was pleasantly surprised. This did a pretty good job at bringing back the classic Bevery Hills vibe, bringing back the original soundtracks was chef's kiss. Was great to see Judge Reinhold and John Ashton back in action, they didn't miss a beat, the chemistry is still there. Even Joseph Gordon-Levitt really meshed with the team as the new guy. Was not expecting Kevin Bacon though, this movie really did what the 3rd one was meant to!!!
There is a dialogue during the car scene when Taggert says you pissed off a lot of people with Rosewood saying 50/50, with Foley saying is that high that didn't make the film but it's in the trailer.
I’m pleasantly surprised how good it was. Felt like a classic Beverly Hills Cop movie. You never know these days with all the remakes and sequels. Eddie and the gang still got it 👍
FYI: Saw this yesterday @ NYC's The Paris Theatre (which is owned by Netflix, the film's studio) so it is available in theatres (just need to look) & I enjoyed it
Great reaction guys. I love this film too. I’m a fan of the franchise but I am a big fan of all of you. I love this channel. You guys are so much fun to watch movies with. Thank you for a great time. Keep up the great work. ❤😊
I’m surprised that Andrew missed this one, what are the last callbacks in the film was the final scene with Kevin Bacon and Eddie. in the first film, Eddie gets shot by Victor Maitland and Ronnie Cox kills the bad guy in this one. Eddie Murphy gets shot by the bad guy Kevin Bacon and the bad guy is shot by Joseph Gordon Levitt.
I think these guys are the first one's to react to this movie because I've seen the movie the day it first came out on Netflix and I've seen a lot of reviews for this movie but no reactions so so far this is the reaction I've seen for this movie seen and I'm gonna see the movie again later on great reaction guys keep up the great work

Great reaction, hard to watch with Andrew showing off those damn LEGS!! Yep that music showed up right away at the beginning of two with the first Alphabet heist. I am so happy with this movie, hated that it took so long but it was worth the wait!!! Part 2 is my absolute fave, it's like they took part 1 and turned it up to 11.
Hey fellas, good work with the first reaction of BHC:AF. I know that the director, Mark Molloy is Australian and it's his debut as an filmmaker. The late Don Simpson & Jerry Bruckheimer's crown jewel of an franchise has truly come so far. Bringing back most of the supporting cast from those early films totally fills the heart with so much joy and awesomeness. Newer characters (allies/crooks) are cool too and just like us, the viewers, it's about them seeing what makes Axel Foley into the cop that he's been. The story is great, the camerawork is clean with colors/angles, the action sequences certainly get back to the energy of those first films and the original score by Lorne Balfe with synth extraordinare Sunglasses Kid is dope (so 1980s). A 4th installment of this series was what i was waiting for. Now that it's finally happened, I enjoyed every minute of it.

Great reaction. I'll have what that realtor's on lol. She was definitely up there for my fave cameo. Great to have Serge, Taggart and Billy back but Axel and JGL have such great chemistry as do JGL and Jane. I wish we'd had some kind of update on their relationship status at the end. The Axel/Jane plot was surprisingly emotional for a BHC movie, loved it.
I still think it's weird that the cops were giving Billy shit about "A little extra protection," in BHC1, but it wasn't until BHC2 when Billy suddenly had a fuckton of guns.
I'm dying Relaxel Foley love it. I seriously come here to watch everything with you guys after I watch and it's honestly more fun. Yes a lot of the music was used in the earlier ones. Neutron Dance! You guys make my day 💗✌️🎵🎬🫶🏽🫶🏽 I really hate when Kevin Bacon plays a bad guy he's way too good at it 😅😅
Rest in peace Gil Hill and Glenn Frey. Glenn Frey also appeared as Jimmy the bush pilot in the "Smuggler's Blues" episode of Miami Vice. He of course was one of the founding members of The Eagles.
I like that the writer's thought about where these characters would be 30 years later. They all moved up in their careers, or off to something a little different. All except for Axel, but that's because his love is being a street cop.
I think the John Landis directing the third one was with Eddie making amends with Landis due to them falling out during the making of Coming to America. Eddie wanted to make-up for the bad blood lol. Also the third one going PG-13 hurt the film a lot.
I loved it! it hit all the right spots and didn't feel forced to me at all. I hope they pull a Shaft and release this on Blu-ray for the completionists like me.
“We’re all scared. You’d have to be crazy not to be scared.” 48:47 John, please tell me that was a reference to Small Soldiers😂😂 Major Chip Hazard reporting for duty🫡
Eddie's hiatus was long ago he's had Dolamite Is My Name, Coming To America 2, You People, and Candy Cane Lane in last few years and now this great BHC4 movie sequel.
Yeah they could've done the second one and then a week later do this one. No need to rush ahead to watch this one and get people who aren't so familiar with the franchise
Soon as he asked if he looked like Garald Ford I yelled at the TV "YAll BOTH look like Gerald Ford" Personally I get why no one likes 3 but I still think part 2 is pretty crucial. It really setup the stronger relationship Axel has with Rosewood, Taggert and others. 3 was like a direct to tv movie that Eddie seemed obligated to do.
Andrew is right. Stallone wanted there to be more action and violence in this film and the creative team flat out said no. So he took that idea and made Cobra.
perfect sequel ; no phoning in the paycheck situation felt here; joy and laughter from begining to end ; as a 45yo ; ive missed movies like these ... you feel the passion ; and love .. i think that mostr if not all of GenX are glad this is not just another sjw crap cash grab.... this is a love letter to 80/90s action / comedy .... i mean ; all you need to do is watch you guys enjoy this as much as we did with our friends cheering for the same crap over and over again ...
6:46 DONEKY LANGUAGE! I’ve never seen Eddie Murphy in a rated r movie and this was my first and my first Beverly Hills cop movie but I was shocked and spat out my Dr Pepper when he first swore
It was cool to see that actor who played Lucifer in SUPERNATURAL as Kevin Bacon's right-hand man. Haven't seen him in anything since SUPERNATURAL ended.
I personally enjoyed it. Ive been a big fan of the original since i was young. I even saw the 3rd at the movie theater and liked it, so take that into consideration. But i thought it was a great return to formula, loved all the music drops and thought they still work 40 years later...
Watched it last night and it was better than it had any right to be. From the soundtrack to all the throwbacks and even that little bit of shade to the third movie.
Thoroughly enjoyed this film. Lots of nostalgic throwbacks but still managed to keep it modern and fresh. Eddie was on top form again as axel and the soundtrack/score was fantastic. Cool set pieces and great action. Solid 7/10 for me P.s agree with andrew, 2 is slightly better than 1
I think this movie was definitely back to form for the franchise. I did not hate the 3rd film & enjoyed parts of it, but overall it did feel pretty strange and out of place. This is definitely way better than the 3rd film. I did not know Joseph Gordon Levitt was gonna be in this, so that was a good surprise for me. Honestly, I thought the opening action sequence was a bit slow & could've been punchier & it would've been nice to see Murphy getting more involved in more of the gun action stuff, but especially given his age, I was very impressed by him. The 3rd film leaned much more into the comedy, which made it pretty cheesy, but this film was back to form with the first 2 films. I never knew Stallone was originally intended for this franchise and it turned into Cobra, which is actually 1 of my favorite Stallone movies. That is so interesting to me.
Yeah this one was actually pretty good....i didn't go in with high hopes because aren't usually better than the original but this was pretty good. And I absolutely loved Kevin Bacon and Joseph Gordon Levitt in this steller performances

That guy that plays Woody, was on "The CLAN", a UA-cam series.
1. Beverly hills cop
2. Beverly hills cop 4 axle f
3. Beverly hills cop 2
4. Beverly hills cop 3
You can't have Too much firepower...........he picked up a pea shooter compared to the RPG he picked up in the second one. I was expecting Billy to find a Moab to use.
The pilot episode is on UA-cam and it's actually a really good watch
I actually really enjoyed this. Felt like a good old 80s/90s action comedy.

It was great having Axel and the gang back in action! I had high expectations for this movie, and they didn't disappoint. I think it was just the right amount of nostalgia, action, humor, and heart.
Agreed
Oh 100%. They kept the music the same, the same comedic feels it was great. Absolutely felt like one of the original movies.
I loved this movie. It had lot of heart and Eddie Murphy did lot of acting rather than just cashing it in.
I watched this movie when I came out on Netflix the other day and completely fell in love with it. I am having such a blast watching you three watching this movie that I am literally having the same feel good moment again so thank you guys appreciate it so much.😊
We also get a nice small tribute to the late Gil Hill during the scene at the Captain's office.
"Do I look like Gerald Ford" may be my favorite reference ever!
I just watched this with my mom yesterday and we both enjoyed it! She's in love with the first three films and wanted to watch this one with me to bond over her nostalgia for the series 😊 she's also the reason I named my bearded dragon Axel
I did the same thing with my mom and dad and they really enjoyed it too. We went to Shoneys buffet for breakfast for an extra touch of nostalgia
Just for you, Andrew. Throughout the movie, they have sprinkled iconic music from. I think all three Beverly Hills cop movies to pay homage to the series
This should have been released in the theaters
Being in this business and relevant 40 years later has gotta be a proud thing for Eddie. He has grown and came so far. Most careers don't last that long
What is your FAVORITE motif of the Beverly Hills Cop series??
I believe this film is the original bad boys because of Eddie Murphys performance my favorite part of this film is the chase inside the snowplow 😅 awesome 👍😎
Gotta be Axel's various characters/schemes that get him through situations
42:57 OH MY GOD THAT WAS SPOT ON i was not expecting that spot on accent
The three of them in the car - Axel scheming, Taggart objecting, and Rosewood putting up a token resistance before ultimately agreeing.
The snowplow chase scene in Detroit during the beginning of the film mirrors to the Cement truck chase and the only thing that was different was we didn't get to hear "Are you driving with your eyes open, or are you using the Force?" which would've been nice.
Did anybody notice the Airwolf theme song during the helicopter scene! That’s awesome! Loved Airwolf!😃
Yes! I noticed when I heard that synth beat. I was thinking there's no way this is just a coincidence. I loved watching that show, too! I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed that.
Airwolf needs the movie treatment if the fall guy and the A-team can get movies so should airwolf also knight rider too should get one too
@clintbrew I agree. It would be great to see those make a comeback. But if/when they do, those in charge of production should take notes from the people who produced this as well as 'Top Gun: Maverick'. They apparently have got the right stuff to bring these 80's properties back.
YES!!! Actually, yes! I was like, “Is that Airwolf?” lol!!!
I came here to say this. I definitely heard the beat, but was never quite able to pick out the melody
You know what kinda franchise crossover would be awesome. Bad Boys meets Beverly Hills Cop. Meets smaller crew fast and furious
Could happen since jerry bruckheimer did both bhc and bad boys
🤔
I'm glad you guys actually saw the movie and actually paid close attention to it and they brought Beverly hills cop back to it's roots plus sense I first saw this movie days after that I've heard positive reviews and negative reviews mostly positive reviews but the people with all the negative reviews obviously didn't pay attention to the movie and took the time to really understand it like you guys so I respect you guys for that keep up the great work
I was really looking forward to the BHC 2 & 3 reactions 😭
This movie was such a pleasant surprise. Light, fun, nostalgic, and just a good time.
I enjoy the constant, constant, and I mean constant references. Fun lol
I'll be honest, I went in with low expectations (because that's the best way to go into a movie) and was pleasantly surprised. 40 Years Later, beverly hills cop returns
1994 was 30 years ago 😉
I'd still watch reactions to 2 & 3.
There is a dialogue during the car scene when Taggert says you pissed off a lot of people with Rosewood saying 50/50, with Foley saying is that high that didn't make the film but it's in the trailer.
They can do a crossover with Happy Gilmore if they wanted to especially we see Shooter McGavin appearing in this movie and playing golf.
I was hoping they'd call him Shooter in that scene 😆
@@alexp601 That would've been hilarious.
@@alexp601 FYI: He voiced Jor-El in Superman: The Animated Series and Superman Beyond in Batman Beyond animated series.
I’m pleasantly surprised how good it was. Felt like a classic Beverly Hills Cop movie. You never know these days with all the remakes and sequels. Eddie and the gang still got it 👍
I can confirm that it is not the car from the second movie, the second movie was a Ferrari 308(Magnum PI), this car is a Lamborghini Countach.
1:03:17 😂😂😂😂classic axel
FYI: Saw this yesterday @ NYC's The Paris Theatre (which is owned by Netflix, the film's studio) so it is available in theatres (just need to look) & I enjoyed it
Great reaction guys. I love this film too. I’m a fan of the franchise but I am a big fan of all of you. I love this channel. You guys are so much fun to watch movies with. Thank you for a great time. Keep up the great work. ❤😊
Cop 2 is hands down my favourite, Tony Scott directed the shit outta it, and makes 3 look like a Hallmark movie! My order is 2,1,4,3
Axel is Back!!!! Eddie Murphy still has it!
You are correct! Good call back!
Watched this when it came out just a flood of nostalgia
Kevin Bacon screamed villain soon as he got on screen lol
I want to see a Beverly Hills Cop and Bad Boys Crossover.
I concur
Probably the first ones to post a film reaction to the movie
Nope
I think these guys are the first one's to react to this movie because I've seen the movie the day it first came out on Netflix and I've seen a lot of reviews for this movie but no reactions so so far this is the reaction I've seen for this movie seen and I'm gonna see the movie again later on great reaction guys keep up the great work

Did Andrew pronounce Bronson Pinchot, as Pin-Cot? It's Pin-Cho.
And he pronounced Glen Frey as “Fray”, not Fry.”
I’m so glad you know who Glenn Frey is; however his last name is pronounced “fry” 😊
Thanks I will remember from now on :)
The Airwolf style music in the Chopper is a great detail.
Hey fellas, good work with the first reaction of BHC:AF.
I know that the director, Mark Molloy is Australian and it's his debut as an filmmaker.
The late Don Simpson & Jerry Bruckheimer's crown jewel of an franchise has truly come so far.
Much like the recent sequels of their other franchises Top Gun and Bad Boys, this one for all it's worth gets back to basics with a little something new (even the callbacks).
Everything we loved since the 1984 original is still there.

A 4th installment of this series was what i was waiting for.
Now that it's finally happened, I enjoyed every minute of it.
JGL (Bobby) was the true MVP, he didn’t miss- literally lol
I was so pleasantly surprised by this film! there was enough nostalgia sprinkled in to give us some good feels, but they didn't go overboard with it. plus, they added in enough new stuff to keep it fresh. I loved Joseph Gordon-Levitt's addition; his character could have easily been annoying or unnecessary but I instantly loved Bobby and he fit into the cast seamlessly IMO. great reaction! thanks, John, Aaron, and Andrew! 😃
Me and my dad spent the fourth watching it instead of fireworks and we both loved it
Great commentary guys. I like the way to bounce of each other. Awesome job.
I am so happy that Axel foley is back
Great reaction. I'll have what that realtor's on lol. She was definitely up there for my fave cameo. This movie was awesome!!

This movie was real fun, Eddie Murphy looked so young in this. The music was off the hook, and the action was also great, even jokes were pretty good.
That lady cop who arrested him is One of eddie Murphy's daughters too.
His daughter Bria
3 super likeable guys! Aron is the Axel to John and Andrews Rosewood and Taggart! 🙂

If this movie gets enough love on Netflix I wonder if Netflix can do a limited release in a movie theater
Usually Netflix puts originals in theaters before streaming.
Axel F should've did that first really.
This is currently the number 1 movie on Netflix.
It like the way they used some of the original soundtrack from 1 and 2, nice touch!
“We’re all scared. You’d have to be crazy not to be scared.” 48:47 John, please tell me that was a reference to Small Soldiers😂😂 Major Chip Hazard reporting for duty🫡
2 is my favorite (Tony Scott fanboy here), then 1, then 4, then 3.
Great Reaction John, Aaron, and Andrew! This movie was fun! 👍
Anyone else notice the soundtrack in the helicopter-scene being quite similar to Airwolf? ;)
Ah John and Aaron must do a reaction to the second and third one! :) Would love to see that.
42:54 LOVE this, Andrew! 😂
Eddie's hiatus was long ago he's had Dolamite Is My Name, Coming To America 2, You People, and Candy Cane Lane in last few years and now this great BHC4 movie sequel.
Sequel is in the works as well so more axel foley coming confirmed by Eddie Murphy
That's a Lamborghini countach.
The car Axle drove in Beverly Hills cop 2 was a Ferrari
Every thing kevin bacon plays in hes a villian now. Lol

But the second one will always have a special place in my heart. It was the first one I saw.
They bought Axel F into the 80's vibes...perfect......
Was one of the cops going through Billys office, the security guard that gives Axel a match at the costumes warehouse in the first movie
I love this movie watching this day 1 gives me og vibes and defo say 10/10 even bring all the actor backs - defo movie of the year
I personally enjoyed it.
Solid 7/10 for me
P.s agree with andrew, 2 is slightly better than 1
I think this movie was definitely back to form for the franchise.
9:56 it was in Beverly Hills Cop 2. In the beginning
Yeah this one was actually pretty good....i didn't go in with high hopes because aren't usually better than the original but this was pretty good. And I absolutely loved Kevin Bacon and Joseph Gordon Levitt in this steller performances
eddies little girl plays the lady cop with the lego car
This is great film in my mind this film is the original bad boys because of Eddie Murphys awesome performances
