So we went out on the street and asked people to name as many Avengers as they could and then we asked them to name as many Presidents as they could. Which do you think they will know more of?

The funny thing is, people from other countries are taught more about the us history than Americans. The whole time I was in high school I only took one us history class and we just went over laws and court cases. The other 2 years (there was no history class in my first year) we did world history.
They pick out intentionally worst ones. Even though i dont think rest would much better. I tried it and i would name 17 off the top of my head as European. From what i know i am afraid thats above average for Americans.

I don't ONLY watch movies, though, as I read so often my parents literally think that there's something wrong with me. I 100% would read the comic books if I could, but I know that some of the sexual content in it would make my parents flip out if they found out I was reading it.

George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, Franklin Delano Roosevelt and John Fitsgerald Kennedy are well known former POTUS that most people around the world could name EASILY. That's extremely shameful for Americans to not know their own internationally famous Presidents. And I'm not even talking about the infamous ones (Trump, Obama, Bush x2, Nixon, Hoover). After that, they dare to call themselves "patriot"... America: Land of the free ... to be stupid.

@@StudioNetcom I'm not from the United States, and I just thought I'd write up a list of the ones I know. I got to 20, which isn't bad given how many former leaders of other countries I could name, but I would have missed out Adams and Jefferson (I did think of the latter, just thought he'd never been president). If you're talking about infamous presidents from the 20th century though, I think people not from the US are more likely to know Reagan than Hoover.
