This whole sequence is full of good moments, from Mr. Warbucks angrily shouting his dislike for the Mona Lisa painting, followed by all those mentions of President Roosevelt and some of the most influential men of the time. It's endearing that he shifts moods spontaneously to give the Mona Lisa a chance, only to lose his temper when the photographer takes his picture. And yet, another mood swing to awkward embarrassment. Loved how Punjab appears to magically lift the man up, too. This movie is such a great classic.
Me and my sister use to watch this.. we dont talk now, so these movie clips help take me back to when we were kids... laughing and pointing.... they were such simple and happy times. At least i can occasionally beam myself back once in a while.. :*(
I can’t believe this film is 40 years old now. It was released on May 21, 1982. The following month, The Coca-Cola Company acquired Columbia Pictures for $750 million.
I’m 35 years old and saw this movie many times growing up… yet this is the first time I ever noticed the Blue Boy painting in the background at 0:29. Ha!
Warbucks doesn't like flash. Reminds me of some birds that were sitting on one of my window ledges. I took a picture and they flew away. Damn it, she caught us.

Putting the Mona Lisa in a bathroom for any reason would just be taken out of context today. 😂
Why did I think This came out in the 30s and 40s 😂
i just looked it up and it was set in 1933! so thats likely why haha
Because the film's story was set in that era.
